Rock Creek Lake Campground

So many beautiful things to say about this place where do I begin. The fishing is excellent, lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Children friendly, campgrounds are all amazing. Be sure to drink lots of fluids and bring electrolytes (gatorades) this place is dry and will pull all the fluids from you. Nights are cold so bundle up. Bear country so be prepared. Its normal to see people with firearms for safety here.

So thrilled to be able to enjoy day-use of this beautiful place. It's perfect for families to come and picnic, kayak, swim, fish, etc. We especially enjoyed walking the entire perimeter of the lake, on a well-marked trail.

Been going there my whole life. It is the best place in the lower 48 without a doubt. Then a couple miles down on the highway 395 go north for a few minutes and turn right, when you see the little chapple, you hit owens river. Peaceful and great trout fishing. Never disappoints.

Great campground. Super clean. Been to many campgrounds, and never have I seen the host (Bill) actually go to the sites and clean the fire pits, pick up the trash around the area, talk to the visitors, and be so laid back. Amazing place to take the family. Thank you again Bill for taking care of our campgrounds.

Beautiful campground in the Eastern Sierra Mtns. Very secluded, on a lovely lake at 9700'.

This is an amazing campground for tents, vans and very small trailers. A bit of a drive to a town with facilities. The road out to this campground is wide and very well maintained. The lake is very beautiful! If you want a remote, beautiful, clean camping spot, this is it.

Absolutely beautiful!! Crystal clear water and amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Looks like plenty of spots for campers and nice spots to pitch a tent. Campground looks well maintained, no trash. Highly recommended!

What an absolutely gorgeous area. Not overly crowded, beautiful lake. First come first serve basis for camping. A very small campground with some spots you must carry in your supplies, but right up against a creek.

Rock Creek Lake is stunning. Best location in the eastern Sierras.

We have camped here twice now. It is absolutely beautiful and the valley stays nice and cool in the summer. The hike to the lakes is even more incredible.

It is SO fun. but June lake is very cold!I love it still. I’m 7 and am typing on my dads phone.

Great beautiful place to relax BBQ there was no loud music so your able to enjoy nature and hear the river streams

This place is crazy awesome. I was up there in middle of October, it was totally snowing and still caught and released a limit of trout in about 45 minutes
