River Styx Park

This park is absolutely gorgeous, especially in the fall. There is a pavillion, walking trails, fishing pond, swing set, as well as walking and nature trails. The walking trail portion is paved. The pond boasts friendly swans and geese looking for handouts. The only downside to this park, and I know this doesn't affect everyone, is the lack of play equipment for small children. Regardless, we always manage to have fun here though.

This is a lovely little park. It has a moderate, inclined path into the woods, but also a small circuit around a pond where you can also go fishing. There are benches for sitting scattered all over. Very peaceful.

Love this park. Very quiet. There's a nice pond for fishing and a nice nature trail to get out of the sun!

This is a nice sized local park. It has a nice paved walking trail that goes around the fishing pond. It also has unpaved hiking trails in the woods, and through an open field. There are also a few swings, a rentable pavilion with picnic tables and a large outdoor grill, and bathrooms too. Overall, it was a very nice park.

just a nice place to come waste a day fishing or a short walk… there’s a paved 3/8 mi trail or i paved is about 2/3 mile if you don’t mind a few smaller hills. birds and wildflowers aplenty, and on a foggy cool fall morning, perfect little walk to get out of the house and moving!

So beautiful! Loved all the different trails. The blue had so many beautiful fall plants and the red trail was a nice wooded one. We saw beautiful swans swimming around in the pond or lake. Just a very nice walk. There are also swings here.

Very nice and clean park with paved walking trails, well maintained nature trails and swings for the kids.

Nice easy trails and plenty of opportunities for taking pictures of flora and fauna as well as wildlife. Definitely will come back again when the weather is a bit cooler.

UPDATE: Went back October 13th, 2021 to hike and take photos and there was plenty of opportunities for leaf peeping. Gorgeous day to hike and lots of beautiful nature to look at. Well worth the second trip back.

UPDATE 2: Went back again February 12th, 2022 to take a look around and the trail was covered in ice and very slippery. If you can navigate around that then it's still worth going to see all the snow on the trees and the frozen little lake. Got some pretty photos too.

Great park. Just gets better over the years. Multiple fishing locations around the 1.5 acre lake, one side now with upgraded dock that pokes out beyond the edges of vegetation. Nice asphalt walking path around the perimeter of the lake. Good parking w handicap spots, a pavilion and several picnic tables this place is 15 minutes down river styx road from 18.

Clean park with nice trails. The bathrooms were very clean, which I really appreciate expecially when taking my 2 year old in there. Trails were clear and there are two baby swings, which was perfect for my 2 little ones!

Great place for a short hike! Perfect for families. The trail isnt too long and there is a small swing set at the beginging/end.
