Great Wall

This place is just like you left it in 2005! When you walk in it is clearly run down with no updates done in years and is definitely family run. The golden cat is waving at you just as it has in years past, the carpet is dirty and you can definitely tell the ceiling is damp. A young lady sets you at the table closest to the buffet and gets you an ice cold pessi (aka Pepsi) and the place mat says you were born in the year of the rat. The food is mediocre comfort Chinese for your small town loving folk. While you eat someone complains that the booth they were placed in has a ripped seat and you are in awe of the audacity they could have to complain, because they must know where they chose to eat. In the end you are glad you chose to eat here because the nostalgia and comfort far outweighs any other bad thing that you see. This is the type of Chinese restaurant I want, no other type will do. 5 stars because it is the peoples champion!

I've ordered food from here many times, I've never been disappointed, I've also eaten at their Buffet a few times and have been happy everytime, the hostess was always pleasant, She's always done a great job, the owner has always been cool with me and answered any questions ive had on different menu choices, I will return here without hesitation

Been eating here since middle school. Always loved their food and service. Live in Avon area, we get take out about once a month from them, it’s still hot by the time we get home and it’s always so good!

It was great but there was a couple of mosquitos in our food.

The food has stayed consistent throughout the years I do enjoy their buffet it's got a great selection and the prices reasonable for what you're getting. The sugar coated donut holes are always great at the end of the meal.

Exellent restaurant friendly staff food was hot and good clean dining room I have read the reviews of this place and didn't know what to think I highly recommend giving the restaurant a nother shot

Amazing quality and good friendly service

A very nice family owned establishment. Great food with great service. The youngest was adorable and it really felt like a homie experience. I would 100% recommend for anybody looking for a good Chinese buffet while also driving through little falls.

This place is great. It has been in this area for a long time. And even though the workers there are a little more on the quiet side, you can always guarantee that there will be hot fresh food there every time. And they are quick on the drinks. The place is looking a little rundown but there is good food

Idk about the buffet, but their takeout is delicious!!! Good portions for the price, great quality, and they use real plastic containers (no foam) so you can reheat it better and less chances of leakage! The owner is a really nice guy too :)

Always hot and delicious. Owner has a great attitude. Our family of six is always satisfied with the amount of food. Most of the time there's enough for lunch for the next day.

Excellent food and pricing here during the time of covid! The restaurant has a great set up for accepting payment and transferring food to the customer. Turn around was about 10-15 minutes. Food was hot and fresh, shrimp lo mean with a good amount of shrimp for me and rich cashew chicken for my dad that made me jealous I didn't order it lol. Very glad to find you as we have no Chinese options open in Northern Minnesota. Portions were generous enough to gorge myself or have a small follow up meal. Ill add photos of the dinner entrees. All contactless and the staff were wearing masks even behind glass which I greatly appreciated! Keep up the good work 👍

I used to go here once a week still would if I had the time ! Amazing food! Get lots of food for a little price. The service is really helpful and friendly. Food is always hot and tasty! Definitely would recommend to everyone to eat at the great wall. Also they deliver! I even keep a menu in my purse always !

Homey place for Chinese food. Excellent walnut shrimp,string beans,and fried rice. Try to get the buffet if you can there's a decent amount of stuff to choose from, or you can't go wrong ordering take out which is always fresh and hot. They also offer buffet to go!

Amazing Chinese restaurant. Family owned, low prices, amazing food, incredible atmosphere. Whenever they have their buffet open again, the walnut shrimp and hot and sour soups are must tries.
