Tru by Hilton Monroe MI

This hotel is the one everyone should stay at when visiting Monroe. Fair prices, comfy bed, awesome staff. I sold my home in Monroe and due to sickness I was stuck in Monroe for 4 months. Couldn’t fly or travel. From front desk to housekeeping these people took care of me. Called to check on me if they didn’t see me for a day or two. Housekeeping made sure the room was as clean and comfy as possible. Made sure i fully stocked and provided all toiletries that were actually good. Ms Jaunita is the absolute best. She was attentive, caring, helpful and she made a very hard situation a lot easier. The new general manager of the hotel was an absolute doll. Ms Cheryl who works front desk was charming and always put a smile on my face. The maintenance man checked every issue immediately although there was only one and that was because the weather turned negative degrees. I am so sad to leave. These people made me feel like family. You won’t regret staying here.

Myself, my husband and 2 children stayed here to celebrate our baby's 1st birthday today. I didnt catch the name of the receptionist, but she was one of the friendliest I've dealt with. We were surprised at how clean and nice the facilities are, I love that the rooms have laminate flooring instead of the typical old smelly carpets. The kids loved swimming in the 3-5ft pool and there were a lot of restaurants and stores nearby. Can't wait to visit again!

This establishment epitomizes excellence in every facet, from the relaxed while also upbeat ambiance of the lobby to the impeccably maintained and well-appointed rooms. It stands as the quintessential destination for anyone visiting the area. While I haven't experienced other locations, the exceptional standards upheld here in a smaller locale reaffirm my confidence in the brand unequivocally. This is the view from a 4th floor backside room.

Excellent staff, especially the night shift lady thst checked us in on 10/20. Super friendly, bubbly, knowledgeable and a sweet smile. ( sorry I forgot her name) Made us feel very welcomed. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Beds and pillows are cozy and comfortable, making for a great nights sleep. Workout room is small but met our need for 2 nights. Fun, comfortable lobby. Breakfast has a good amount of choices but food is just okay. Not a big deal since we aren't the biggest breakfast eaters. Plenty of parking. Close proximity for the soccer tournament we were in town for. One of the best stays, if not the best, we have had in a long time. Great value. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We took our grandsons to hang out for the night and swim. They loved the vibrant colors, the pool table, the 'very cool chairs' in the lobby, and of course the pool. The staff were great, we will definitely be back.

This is a great refreshing hotel. The friendliness when we arrived was great. Greeted and checked in by Jacquie, she had a wonderful sweet smile on her face and checked us in quickly. Later we had the pleasure of meeting Jeanne, full of personality, she was friendly and made it a point to say hello to everyone who walked by (when we were around). The rooms were clean so kudos to the cleaning crew, I remember the paper in the room said cleaned by Jackie, so thanks Jackie for the clean room. Thank you Jacquie and Jeanne for great customer service! Thank you for caring.

Sara at the front desk was very helpful and informative about our hotel and amenities. A funny pleasant girl. She went above and beyond to make pamphlets for the hotel visitors with information about food and parks/ attractions in the local area. This hotel has very much satisfied me with the color scheme inside and cleanliness. There is a pool and a weight room and the rooms are colorful and stylish. Plenty of towels and the shower is fancy compared to most places.

Tru is one of the nicer hotels my family has stayed at. Other then the smaller size rooms everything was amazing. The morning staff Dasha and Cheryl were always so friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was warm because of them

Plenty of bacon at breakfast! (Nice variety of choices) Real half and half for coffee. (Which was good and hot) No loud TV’s in breakfast area. Public areas attractive, bright and clean. Comfortable, clean, quiet room. Checked in and out with app and used digital key, but staff seemed quite nice and friendly. No complaints!

Jeanne was super helpful at the front desk checking us in and helping us feel like home. Super accommodating for us. Much appreciated for her and her service. Great rooms and nice clean place overall. Will be back!

I had a great experience at this hotel. Despite being a 2-star establishment, it exuded a modern and clean ambiance that could easily rival higher-end accommodations. The amenities were impressive, including a well-equipped gym, a refreshing pool, and even a pool table and board games for entertainment. The stunning lobby added to the overall appeal, providing a lovely space to relax in. Additionally, the availability of a fresh and warm breakfast from 6:30 to 10 am was a delightful surprise. Although there wasn't in-room coffee, the 24/7 coffee station and lobby market were convenient alternatives. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a delightful stay.

The hotel was very clean, easy to find, and had a fun, modern vibe. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area. Sara went above and beyond to ensure that we had an easy check-in, filled us in on all the ameneties, and led us in the right direction to find a good place to eat.

It was so clean! The floors were wood instead of carpet! Alot of room! The air & pool was so warm. It was great! The breakfast was awesome! I would surely recommend this hotel!! Super nice!!

This place is simply amazing! Every single time I come here it is a perfect experience! The team is amazing Cheryl, Marley, Deja, Jody, Sara, and of course Miss Geanne! Wow! What an amazing style. Any management would be lucky to have in a place like this! We will be back, and we will only stay at the Tru hotel when we are in Monroe Michigan. Great Job guys keep up the amazing work!!!

Stayed at this hotel briefly while driving to Detroit. I got in super late and was able to get in a nice few hours before I had to move on. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also well implemented. The front desk staff I dealt with, Jeanne and Jennifer, were very friendly and efficiently handled my needs. Thank you all for the great stay!

Friendly front desk agent!!! The room was clean and very nice. We had our dog with us, plenty of areas outside for walking. Highly recommend if you are in the area!!!

Sheryl and Jodi were so amazing! From making the reservations to checking in, they were incredibly helpful! I traveled with my cat this time and they made sure there were no issues. The friendliness and their compassionate nature will make it so much easier to travel back there! The room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious, the pool was clean, our stay was amazing. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Nice clean, comfy rooms with nice beds and pillows. Modern decor. Nice hot breakfast with plenty of choices. Plenty of activities on site. And in the surrounding area. Staff was pleasant and professional. Definitely will be back!! Thank you!!

Love this place. Very responsive staff, nice decorating, room was very comfortable. We'll def stay at a Tru location again.
