Veteran's Park

Beautiful little park with a fun bridge over a creek that allows the fish to swim up around the spillway during fish runs. There are three pavilions, two small ones nearer a small playground and one larger one further away. The park has two single stall bathrooms.

A beautiful little park to enjoy nature, play on the playground, or get some great family photos.

We visited on Memorial Day weekend. It’s a beautiful supported and maintained Veterans Memorial. The walk along the river on a beautiful morning, honoring those that serve was great. Also enjoyed the wildlife on the river.

We love this park!!!! Such a great place to take the kids. If your little ones like water like mine do, you just have to keep an eye on them a little more. Which all of us mamas already know this lol

Beautiful spacious park with great views, and plenty to do for everyone. Go let the kids play while you take a walk on the path down a little ways. You can still keep an eye on the kiddies and enjoy a little me time. The bridge is a nice added touch for beautiful pictures and the sounds of the water and wildlife are relaxing. Plenty of area to fly your drone without interrupting passerby’s. Careful though, there are geese droppings everywhere.

Nice and clean. We go there to fish and picnic. There are a few tables and grills to use. As well as a pavilion. The park is great fun. I like it has 2 full bathrooms

We love coming here! It's nice seeing all the updates they've made throughout the years. One of the better parks in Monroe. 👍😁

Playground. Swing while u watch the river and all its beauty and animals. Little bridge. Trees. Willow trees. So amazing here.

Nice playset for the kids. Mostly clean bathrooms. Also has a nice riverwalk along the River Raisin with a neat little pedestrian bridge. Plenty of benches and picnic tables. The bench right on the river under the weeping willow in particular is my fave lol.

Beautiful park with memorials, river walk, stream, play ground, bathrooms, grills and covered picnic pavilions.

Great place for a walk or to just relax on a bench and read a book. Good for walking dogs, picnics, and fishing.

Beautiful park, well-kept and clean. Great place for a picnic as long as you don't mind it usually being windy from the river, or geese.

A great place to sit in your car and watch the river. Walking paths along the river bank are very nice. Large playground for the kids. Benches dotted throughout to sit. Exceptional veterans monuments covering all US wars, and flag display. Always been a nice place to go.

My kids love this place. Fairly friendly to little ones.

One of many nice parks in Monroe. The dam and "waterfall" make for a beautiful area to watch the weather and snap photos. Great running/walking path connects Veterans Park to others and parallels the Raisin River.

Nice place to see beautiful birds

Being new to Monroe, Im not familiar with anymore of Monroe other than downtown and Monroe Street. 😂 Two nights agoI went for a night ride and fumbled apon this parks bike trails . It's a really nice quiet place at night. Planning on going in the day today tually

This is a beautiful park. It's the perfect place for a quick stop with the kids. We can walk down the riverside on the sidewalk or enjoy time playing on the playground. There are a couple of pavilions and benches through out the park to sit down and enjoy a snack while we watch the ducks. The atnospher is friendly and relaxing. We enjoy the beauty of the park it's self. It's also an easy place to meet friends to take a break from our busy day.
