ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital - Radiology

This is for the hospital and the surgery center. My mom had 2 knee replacements in February & June. Both times were absolutely amazing. I have to call out specifically those from the last surgery because they were beyond phenomenal. The care they give is beyond putting into words. So shout out to all the amazing doctors and nurses: Dr Zakaj, Surgery Nurse Courtney, Supervisor Felicia, Nurse on 2nd floor Heather. And i can't forget Hawaiian Brian. You all are amazing individuals and the care you give is beyond 100%. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful care you provided my mother. ❤

My daughter has tiny veins so getting blood from her is like trying to get blood from a🥔potato. Today we met Rosita. She was able to take blood🩸on the 1st draw. Awesome!! Also for myself My MRI and oncology team...let’s just say that Yearly visits are a wonderful thing to hear. Get your mammograms starting at 40. 🎀 Do it for you!

First experience here after hearing lots of horror stories, however this was the best hospital experience we’ve had with my mom. They were quick to treat and the nurses were amazing. She gets really disoriented at hospitals so they had 24 hr sitters with her. She’s been lucid and agreeable this whole time thanks to them.

Recently I had occasion to be at Promedica and two people were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Gus from registration and Renee from the cardiologist floor. I found myself unable to push the wheelchair and both went out of their way to make sure we were safe and secure. It meant a great deal to me and my father. Thank you both again!!!

My mother was admitted to the 3rd floor from the ER a couple days ago. Based on the reviews I read about this hospital i was worried that she wouldn’t get good care. Omg was I wrong!! Everyone that had any contact with me or my mom were absolutely wonderful!!!!. I want to thank Stacy(PA), Steve(PA,) Sophie, Lisa (nurses) also the intern nurses, Ashley (speech pathology) all the phlebotomists, housekeeping, kitchen people and anyone else that I missed. I also want to thank the ER doctor and nurse. I can’t believe how kind and caring they all were. My mom got such wonderful care here. All questions were answered and testing was done very quickly.
This hospital should be very proud that it employs people that really do care about their patients. Thank you all!!!!!

The labor and delivery nurses at this hospital are absolute angels. Every single one of them. I recently delivered my son via emergency c section after two failed inductions because my poor baby had the cord wrapped around his neck three times. My midwife and a wonderful team of doctors took the absolute best care of me and my boy. I can not thank them enough. I have severe anxiety and had to have a few different nurses and another anesthesiologist come in for a second epidural attempt.. I just wanted to thank them for helping me during that time as well. I was so scared and it is so hard to come out of a panic attack, so just know how appreciative I am of your patience and understanding. Everything hurt, I was terrified, and I am so lucky to have the team that I did to take care of me. Thank you thank you thank you 🩵

I had a serious emergency during the weekend. They handled me with the best care I could possibly ask for. I have nothing but the highest praise for the doctors and nurses. Sonja kept me so comfortable until I was taken to ICU. Thanks to all involved!

Everyone was friendly, caring, and sweet. I was very comfortable and well taken care of. Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way in my recovery.

These people are absolutely great at their job are very friendly, get down to business and seems to care about you.. their usually very quick. I recommend

I have been spending a lot of time here lately in several departments and I must say almost everyone is friendly and warm all the time. I had one rough blood draw one time but I’ve had blood draws from the same woman before, and it just must’ve been an off day for her. Radiology is great, registration is even better. Cafeteria has yummy food. Bathrooms are always very clean and don’t smell like a public bathroom. ER staff has been fantastic to me in the past, minus one episode with my mom. They over-looked she had a mild stroke. It was during Covid and I couldn’t go in. But they told me she had responded to all their questions and requests so I don’t hold it against them. Even Saint Joes over looked a major stroke my mom had ( twice is unbelievable right? 😑) So like I was saying, over the last 22 years I’ve had fantastic service here and I will continue to come here for my endless health needs.

Very welcoming. The nurses and staff couldn't have had a better bedside manner. The surgical staff kept me comfortable and felling taken care of. Dr. Chopra was the best. I would definitely recommend them for all of your colonoscopy needs.

This is Tonya Smith and I am totally blind and I just wanted to let you know that ProMedica hospital the staff are very caring they're very they're very accommodating they help me to the elevator and they help me you know to where I need to go and the lab technicians are when you do the mammograms they are very they are very compassionate and they are very gentle and plus like I said I am totally blind so and and I really recommend this place so I rate it five I'm hi this is Tanya Smith and I am totally blind meaning I cannot see it all I was born blind but I'm here to tell you that I had a mammogram and the person in the mammogram room they are very helpful they guide you to wear they want you to stand and all that sort of thing and and there and they're very compassionate which is good because you need cuz everybody needs compassion if they're working in the hospital and for those that don't what I do is I just you know is I just wait till I get home and I call this and I called the supervisor of the hospital and cuz I don't let him know I'm making a complaint I just do it but anyway and it's wheelchair accessible and there's wheelchair parking there is plenty of parking there is signs for for the sighted that will help you where to where you want to go if you're blind there is volunteers that will help you and all that sort of thing One time I went by myself and and they helped me to where I wanted to go and they helped me outside when I was done and there is benches outside where you can sit

Have been here with my teenage son, for stomach issues myself and have had several surgeries at this facility. It is always clean, bright and staff are friendly and attentive. I have always been seen to by medical staff within 30 min, whether I had an appointment or not.

I had surgery today and I couldn’t have asked for better nurses. I wish I remembered all their names. But Billie was one. She was so nice. She knew how nervous I was, and she comforted me. All with the OR nurses. They did an amazing job with me. When I came out of surgery the 2 nurses I got were also amazing! Great job Promedica surgical center!!

I come here for most of my x-ray, labs, and CT scan appts since they are local to me. The times that I have stayed here, the staff has always been friendly and have kept me well informed as to what was happening to me as far as my care went. Promedica doctors are always straightforward and genuinely care for your well-being. Not just there for the paycheck. I have no complaints about this hospital. It is nice to have this place in our community

I Have been to this hospital twice. Once taking an ambulance and once taking my wife to have our child when attempting a home birth.

The reason for a home birth was largely to the fact that we have not had any good experiences with hospitals. Also, with our beliefs. There tend to be a lot of disagreements and grief.

Promedica in Monroe has the most understanding, kind, thoughtful and fun staff I have ever experienced in a hospital setting.

My wife loved it, I loved it. I am so grateful this hospital is close by to my home.

Thank you to Dr. Trent Roberts and his med student. They did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and they made me laugh several times all while doing their jobs. They were efficient, listened to me, explained what was going on to me, and had an amazing bedside manner. I was in and out in less than 3 hours. Honestly I never have had a good experience at this hospital or any hospital in fact until today.

I recently had surgery at ProMedica and I was treated with kindness, patience, and compassion. It was a very busy day, but the staff at the surgical center and on the 2nd-floor adult inpatient unit consistently communicated with me and made sure my needs were met. Thanks to all!

Had my 17 year old son in the ER yesterday for abdominal pain. Was seen by Dr. Musheinesh, Nurse Connie and another Dr. Who's name I don't recall. My son has always been healthy and he was SO scared. Your staff exceeded expectations. They were kind, gentle, friendly and PERFECT bed side manner. This is the 2nd time we've used your hospital since moving to Monroe county. Both times have been amazing. Please let the people named above know how much we appreciate them and their wonderful attitudes. 10 stars

Editing my review: Had neck surgery this past Thursday. The medical staff I dealt with, all of them, were sensational. Surgery went perfect, they all took excellent care of me. I cannot tell you how wonderful they all are.

3 weeks ago, they ALSO saved my husband's life. He had sepsis and almost died. He had surgery and was treated for the infection.

This hospital has taken care of my family and we're just beyond grateful to all of you.

I had the need to go to the ER yesterday and was so surprised by the changes. From the greeting at the window to the kind, professional and thorough treatment throughout my time there, it was an amazing experience! Whomever made the changes to the ER kudos!! I was treated like a first class passenger on an airline, right down to the warm blankets, and bottled water to take the medication. The respiratory nurse even took my service dog out to the hallway to keep him safe from the X-rays being taken. I am very impressed and relieved that our hometown ER is now a place to brag about!!
