Called Wednesday about a serious dust issue on our road. Talked to a lady about it (don't know her name sadly) she was BEYOND friendly and helpful. The chloride truck is currently spraying my street. I couldn't be happier dealing with the road commission. Thank you and that lady is your MVP.

These guys work hard in rough conditions every day to try to make the roads better and to prevent accidents. They are on call in bad weather and have to be available even on their days off. They try to help people out in the neighborhoods, and they risk their life doing their job each day while cars speed past them.

I have put in 2 service requests online in the past year. They were very expeditious in handling my requests. Thank you and keep up the great work!

They just did some work near my house and did an excellent job. Including cleanup. Kept traffic backup to a minimum

Appreciate the weeds being mowed down along M50 and especially in front of my farm. I can see oncoming traffic now from driveway.

After calling the road commission about the US-23 detour, I actually talked to a real person. She was very nice and understanding. It wasa pleasure talking with her and voicing my opinions.

The people at the road commission office were friendly, helpful and answers my questions. Since I have to wait a couple of weeks for the road repair I will reserve my comments on that part until then. Also, I question the type of resurfacing on Dunbar road.

Update 9-16. Yesterday evening around 5 pm the contractor for the road on Tiara Ave showed up and did a small portion to finish the road but only the part in front of my house. They knock a big limb off a tree with their truck. It would be impossible for the mail man to deliver the mail so we had to cut the limb up and move it. Maybe the road commission is trying to do their job but the people they contract to do a job leave a lot to be desired.

Terrible organization and the drivers are horrible rolling stop every other time I see them on the phone driving with one hand in company vehicle is smart I guess!!! Go back to drivers education! Guy at Lewis and ida west in town of ida truck 38 don’t have to stop for a stop sign just blow it and almost slam into my truck. Very smart and cautious driving 👍

Lazy people need to work instead of milking the clock sitting in the truck and maybe work would get done faster .

They should hire some individuals who know how to drive and follow traffic laws. I was cut off by a road commission truck today and observed he was looking at his cell phone and not paying attention to the wheel. The Road Commission should be ashamed.

Years ago people would make fun of the MRCC trucks parked for hours in secluded areas with the occupants sleeping. I see that nothing has changed. This morning, an MCRC truck pulling an asphalt patching rig was sitting on a dirt road for about 20 minutes doing nothing before it slowly proceeded down the dirt road. Clearly they weren’t going to put asphalt on a dirt road.
So it seems you have guys wasting time during the day and then there are patching crews on the roads at night after dark probably making time and a half or double time. Not a good use of the taxpayer dollars.
I suggest putting GPS devices on the trucks, monitoring their location, and holding employees accountable for wasting time.
But this has been going on for years and I have no hope that things will change.

The incompetence is impressive. My 10 year old nephew could do a better job.

Have you ever had to drive down Yensch Road? If you have, no more words needed.

Showed total disregard for any input from the frontage owner. Willfully exposed limestone bedrock to run off from the road and farm fields. The water table in the area is less then 15 feet and exposing the bedrock so close to a well seems a bit dangerous. I spoke to the Maintenance Supervisor about the issues but he seemed disinterested in any possible solutions. They insisted they “HAD” to remove the 3” of soil from the ditches to make them “drain better”, they were functioning properly before. The drain issue is to the west and the. Culverts are completely blocked. This wasn’t a concern as far as the Supervisor was concerned! It is this kind of attitude that earns such a low reviews!
