Love the entire atmosphere.just a wonderful place to relax with the family and friends..I hope it continues this way for many more years

Seasonal memberships available. Fishing (license requirements apply). Camping. Electrical hook up available for additional cost. Can have visitors for an additional fee. Its been cleaned up a lot. Very peaceful. One of my pictures contains a contact phone number for admission and additional information.

Beautiful place we love foing there to watch for big birds amd deer:) we usually see bald eagles, blue herons, egrits, ducks, geese, swan, and lots of deer! And its a great olace to see the sunrise as well!

I love this island. The scary stories told around the campfire along with the ambiance make for a great night.

My spot

The campsite is cute. Lots of space to hang out. But the guy who owns the place just babysits. Has rules and issues when nothing is posted. Pay for the campsite and can't have a friend come in to see the family. Not stay and camp...just come and sit. Can't park in certain spots because it's in front of a road? Not marked nothing. Someone had their dog off a leash and he automatically assumed it was ours and had to call and tell us rules. Even though we're fully aware of leash laws. Another RV stayed and brought 6 other cars with them.. had a bonfire and partied for a while. Nothing said! Were responsible adults just trying to camp with our dogs and kids. Enjoy the space but instead have this man micromanaging this space. Almost stalking. Like he has nothing to do except patrol. Mind you we showed up here and cleaned up cans, fishing string and plastic bags in the water. Won't come back no matter how cute the area was.
