Trouble with getting presp fill

I'll never use Kroger Pharmacy ever again. I recently moved to Michigan and had my prescriptions sent to Kroger because it was close to my new house. They flat out refused to fill my prescription. Just flat out refused. No call, no text, no heads up, nothing what so ever... I was extremely sick for almost a week until I found a local Dr. and switched to a much more caring Pharmacy. Don't waste your time. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

It's changed a lot. It used to be a friendly, small, helpful place. I do not find it helpful lately. They did not contact me and inform me that one of my medications is on back order. That seems like something important to contact a person over. Here we are on a Saturday and now I'm told to call my Dr and ask if i can find another pharmacy that has it. I am not supposed to lapse on medication and my dr office is closed until Monday. The pharmacy knew this 3 days ago. Not filled yet and "back order" are 2 different things. This is becoming the normal pharmacy behavior. They are not reliable or fill the scripts when they are sent over from a Dr. Also. Also, it is not fun being terribly sick, and finding out they waited until I was in the store. I had to sit and wait around spreading germs. Lack of communication and no thought.

I never leave negative reviews of places because I never know if I might’ve just caught one employee on a bad day. But I have been using the Kroger pharmacy for about five years now! I have always been able to get my prescriptions filled promptly and quickly, even the prescriptions that expired and needed a doctor to refill, they always gave me an emergency two day supply. Apparently that policy has changed and they no longer care about the health or well-being of their customers who are experiencing a lapse in prescription medications. I’ll be using a local pharmacy from here on out.

Called the Pharmacy to ask when a prescription would be ready and if my wife could pick it up. The young lady told me to hold. After a few minutes on hold the call was disconnected. I called back and got the same person. Confusingly, she started being extremely rude and short as if she had already given me the information I was waiting on hold for. I told her that I would like to speak to a manager and she just put me on hold again. I switched the location of my prescription. Do not use this pharmacy.

Entire staff was so incredibly rude… more interested in talking on her personal phone about what to pick up for dinner. Would not recommend .. many other pharmacies in town.
