Angelo's Chop House

I have been in Monroe for 5 months and Angelo’s is by Far the best place in town. The food is amazing. The bar tenders are amazing I will be back to visit.

Very very good amazing!! 1st time here and we loved it. Drinks are amazing food is sooooo good and the lemon cake is the best!!! Could've ate 2 of those!! Blake our server was the truly amazing!!!!

Amazing Place, Amazing Steak !!

I stopped at Angelo's for dinner while in the Monore area for business. I was in the mood for steak and after looking at reviews for steakhouses in the area, Angelo's was the best choice. When I entered without a reservation, the hostess brought me to a lovely table in the center of one of the dining rooms. I had a chance to take in the place and see what people were ordering. I decided on the Soup De Jour, which that night was beef soup. My main course was a classic 14 oz New York Strip. Angelo's serves all steaks with their in-house seasonings, mushrooms and their proprietary steak sauce.

The soup was very good and a nice precursor to the main course. I chose not to have any bread or any other appetizers as a 14oz steak for me is filling enough. I watched as many tables got their steak and saw what I was about to eat. When my steak came, I had it medium rare, and Angelo's grillmasters made it a perfect medium rare. The steak had so much flavour to it, and you could tell the cut was a high-quality cut. It was a very well-made steak !!! My server was great and although I was dining alone, he made sure to check on me and make my meal and the experience was top-notch. Next time I'm in the area, I will return as I had a great meal and experience at Angelo's.

I've eaten here several times and had something different every time. Everything is delicious, bartenders know how to mix a wonderful cocktail, and the waitstaff are great! Highly recommend

First time guests and we loved it. Our cocktails were perfect, our service was amazing (thank you Alison) and our food was great. Our soup, salad, calamari, escargot, and steaks were all perfect. This might be our new date night place! It's right off I75 and easy to get to.

Enjoyed dinner at the chop house. Calamari to start. Good crisp served with a nice marinara. Decent salads. Steak was perfect medium cook covered in delicious chop house sauce and mushrooms. Overall food was 5 stars. Recommend. Support your local

Decided to take my lady here for her birthday dinner from recommendations for work buddies. Amazing food and drink selection. Please note that this is a expensive place but the serving sizes are big. I had the 18oz rib steak and it was delicious and cooked perfect.

This place is delicious!! Steak was incredible. Chicken Giovanni was tender and full of good flavor! Tons of beer choices. Can't wait to go back.

This place was somewhere we will return to again and again. The decor was simple, but warm and inviting enough. As many other reviewers have said, the service was outstanding, and the food was phenomenal! My hubby is the type that is always disappointed in steaks he orders when dining out; he feels his at-home grilled steaks are better (and less expensive). This is the first time in YEARS that he has enjoyed a steak he has ordered, and enjoy it he DID!!!! He was utterly pleased with every single bite. My prime rib was massive, cooked perfectly, and out of this world delicious! No apps ordered, but we both ordered top shelf Long Island iced teas --- not cheap, but I HIGHLY recommend them!! YES, we spent quite a bit, just on dinner and drinks (and a good tip). As others have also remarked, yes, this place is pricey. Personally, we can't afford it very often. But when we can, we definitely will. It was worth every penny!

This place was pricey... And worth EVERY penny! Service was impeccable. Clean place. Nice decor. Need my bday to hurry so i can go back. Best steak other than my grill. Stop in soon. I will be back soon!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would service was great atmosphere was great as well and food was unbelievable.best filet mignon I've ever had. Highly recommended will be back for sure great job everyone. Keep up the good work.

I’ve dined at this restaurant with my mother about 10 times. We both always get the filet. It’s been consistently cooked to perfection and is premium quality beef. We always have wonderful servers and our favorite spot is at the bar. We usually get saganaki as a appetizer and our sides we pick are most often mashed potatoes with zip sauce and salad. All are absolutely delicious!

Great food, great staff! One of the only places left to go and actually be treated like a human being. The food was amazing, best steak I’ve ever had! Amanda was the best bartender, we were waiting at the bar for a table and decided to just eat at the bar, her company was wonderful and her great attitude was contagious! 5 out of 5 stars!

Best filet and margarita I’ve had in forever. I came on a busy Friday night but still had excellent service from the bartenders. I will be back to try out the impressive bourbon list and seafood!

Food was amazing. We'll be dining there again. You just have to try this place! Waiter was a little forgetful he forgot our salads, but he pack them up for us so we could take them home to eat later.

We sat at the bar and Amanda did an amazing job. I could see how just she was but she did a great job keeping up and keeping a good attitude. We will for be back for sure.
