Such a cute restaurant in the heart of gaslight village. The braised beef French dip was amazing, loved the real horseradish on it. The staff worked so well together and there was always someone around making sure your drinks were topped off. Highly recommend you visit this restaurant and the area.

Random walk in to grab some food and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has upstairs seating, along with a solid food menu and a large drink menu.

The French Dip and the Olive Burger both very good.

Also tried a fried chicken pot pie 🥧 yummmmm.

Olive’s food is SO GOOD! They’ve had a little menu revamp and we were thoroughly impressed. The meatloaf was amazing. We are definitely adding this to our go to dinner spot list. I’d highly recommend trying to sit outside on the patio in the summer time. The service can be slower and could use some improvement, but the great attitudes and food make up for it.

This was me and my wife’s first time to Olives. It’s been on our list for quite some time, but just hadn’t had time to check it out until recently. We walked away incredibly impressed. My wife got the Dan Dan noodles and it was spectacular. I got the chicken salad sandwich and fries and was pleased :) We loved the food and the atmosphere. Service was perfect as well! We also got the Elote dip, which was awesome- we just wanted to keep eating it!!

Worth traveling to check out! We will Definitely be back!!!

We loved Olives! We were visiting from out of town and picked this out of a long list of possible places to try and were so glad we did. The interior is beautiful and relaxed, staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and the food was nothing short of excellent. Days later and I’m still thinking about the seared salmon and farro salad I had! Good drinks and wine selection, and plenty of vegetarian options. Would love to come back if we’re ever in the area again!

Giving a 5 star because I’ve been coming here for many years & have had many positive experiences & great food. However , most recent time visiting the service was slow / sub par & not as friendly as I remember. I got the chicken picatta which was good, but the potatoes were under & lacking flavor. Picatta sauce was good but needed more balance - too citrusy. Other than that, the drinks were great & overall enjoyed my evening spent there with Great company.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. I had the mushroom crostini and the olive burger and they were both fantastic. My burger was cooked to order and was perfect!

My only critique is one of my friends got the French onion soup, and it would have been better if the cheese was put under a broiler.

Great food, extremely courteous staff. Was a little chilly so had to keep my coat on, but very clean, great looking bar n grill. Very limited lunch menu with about 12 food choices and some sides. My burger was one of the best I had in a long time. The 2 men in the kitchen(man bun and other guy) were dropping F bombs like crazy out loud, which had I been there with a child for lunch would not have been good. That being said though, it is a very cozy place. I'd just clean up the kitchen language only because it is open concept to the customers. Coffee Presses were a nice treat too. I'd rate it at a 4.5 of 5 stars thank you for a great experience.

Had a wonderful evening catching up with old friends at Olive’s. A perfect place to relax, chat and enjoy top-notch food and drinks. Definitely worth a visit if your in Grand Rapids.

What an adorable, from scratch restaurant! The options offer unique flavor combinations. I truly enjoyed everything we had. The drinks are also unique and delicious. Our server was helpful and so kind.

Amazing restaurant! The vibe is modern moody. Martinis are the favorite and the Elote dip was to die for!! An East GR must stop!

We had a lunch reunion of high school friends on October 16. We can get a little noisy with laughter so we sat upstairs. The staff at Olives was friendly and gracious. The food was excellent and we had a wonderful time. M. Moore

First time. Small menu but great food. Their wine and cocktail menu was way Biggers. From what I understood they just remodeled and looked great! Was a little disappointed that the menu online had different options.

Celebrated a family birthday. A variety of items were ordered. Everything was very good!

I just had the absolute best quick and cozy lunch experience in GR. The wait staff was extremely kind and attentive. The food was delicious.

I ordered the lettuce wrap and subbed mushrooms for the chicken to make it vegan — phenomenal. The flavor, the texture, and the freshness all combined to make the wrap an ideal meal — filling and fresh. My lunch date ordered the Caesar salad and paired it with a lovely Chardonnay — she loved it. Everything was affordable from the food to the drinks. Perfect experience for a lunch out on a snowy day.

Stopped here on a whim and I wasn’t disappointed! Great food and wonderful service. I will definitely be back!

The staff took such good care of me and my mom. Which was only the beginning. The food was outstanding. Everything. The French dip, mushroom crostini, Michigan salad was best I’ve ever had. Fun local vibe.
