Michigan College of Beauty

This is a good school for the education the state of Michigan requires to be taught. The instructors will go the extra mile for their students. Mrs. Nocella has been working with me for the last few months to refresh my brain about the state board exam to prepare me to take it and I couldn’t be more thankful and grateful to have her.

When I do get my hair professionally done, it is always here. First, they are learning and need people to learn their skill on, besides they always have their teachers right there watching. Second, they are far cheaper than the salons. Third, I don't trust many people with my long locks but this beauty school has always done my hair right. Lastly, I just have no complaints about them.
My girl Mackenzie gave me exactly what I asked for, love the end result. Long way from hair that was down to my bottom and full of gray, can't even tell it was there. Love this Academy.

I just want to say….. I showed up looking like a hot mess and when I left…… I felt like a million dollars. I was so happy I was crying tears of joy! Sarah did an AMAZING job and I am so thankful our paths crossed today. This place is absolutely amazing. Weather its the students or the instructors, they all are top notch. I highly recommend this school for all your hair needs! Thanks again to Sarah for making me feel like a brand new woman!

Went to the school today for a wash and style. I was seen by Aubrey. She did a phenomenal job! She took the best care of my hair the style was just what I had explained to her. She also was explaining to me that my hair could use some extra love so we talked about product. Thank you Aubrey for telling me just what my hair was missing.

I came for a haircut and manicure. I am over the moon amazed by how much I love my perfect haircut. My hair is all kinds of difficult but somehow the cut has magically turned it from terrifying to super cute and easy to love. I couldn't get anything as great in the best salons in Manhattan! Best haircut EVER!

been going here for 5yrs now and i love it!!! the students had to be taught VERY well cuz they have never messed up my hair. i love meeting the new students and the instructors are very observant and walks around just in case someone needs help or if they seen something they don’t like and will step in💯💯 i will always return!!! ~kudos to those teachers💪🏻

I had to get a haircut while visiting Michigan and ended up going here. Their prices are super reasonable (under $10 for a haircut), which drew me in. The stylist who gave me the haircut did such a nice job, I ended up splurging and getting a manicure too, and the nail technician made that a great experience. I'd definitely go back.

Wonderful experience! Both my daughter and I both had our hair done. Valerie did a great job! Only time my greys have actually fully covered ❤❤

Went for the first time with my youngest who wanted highlights put in. Dez was awesome especially considering it took almost the entire visit before my very quiet child would talk.
Came back for a 2nd visit and Dez was able to fit her in again and my daughter talked alot more throughout the whole visit. Very happy both times with the results.
Brought my oldest in, Dez wasn't there that time but Makenzie I belive was her name did the cut my daughter wanted and did fantastic as well.
The instructors are also super helpful and friendly and have just had amazing experiences. Will be going back very soon

I am really satisfied with all my hair cuts. Teachers are right there showing their students any cut style you want. You can walk in or set up appointments. They do ask you to be there before 2 p.m. for anything that takes a little more time like tints etc. Very friendly & smiles.

My bestie just graduated from here today. She said this school was awesome!

I've been here over and over again through the years for a variety of different services, from nails to hair to facials. The staff and students are friendly and welcoming, and the quality of services is great. The building is clean and bright and they have great products on sale there, too. I always recommend MCB to friends!

This place has always done excellent work. Never a bad haircut, and the students and staff are efficient and friendly. Where else can you get a decent haircut for the price?

Excellent school! Best beauty school in Michigan! I received my manicurist license in 2016 from here and I recently decided to go back for cosmetology and unfortunately I was talked into going to Douglas j aveda in Ann arbor, BIG MISTAKE all they care about is money!! Michigan college of beauty cares about thier students and education. They make sure you have the all the knowledge you need to pass state boards and be successful in the beauty field! I would definitely recommend to everyone!
