McDarla's Quilting Studio

I had a quilt top given to me that belonged to my grandmother. I needed someone to put it all together for me as I am not a quilter and only sew enough to get by when something needs mending. Darla was so patient with me, answered all my questions. She had choices of fabric, batting and binding all at her shop which she used to finish my quilt. I would not have known what to buy, though she did offer that I could bring my own fabric if I preferred. The quilt top was old and weak in some spots and Darla took much care with it. As you can see from the photo, it came out beautifully. I am so happy with it and I think my Nana would have loved how we finished it. Thank you so much Darla!

My dad had a quilt made for me out of a bunch of his T-shirts. The way Darla did it is wonderful! The stitching is really cool (flowers) and you can tell by looking at it the care she took while making it. It will definitely hold up better over time than the T-shirt blankets you can get on other websites. This quilt will be special to me for a long time to come. I can remember my dad wearing some of the T-shirts so every time I look at it I will think of him! Thank you so much. It’s amazing.

I met with Darla to explain what I wanted and she listened carefully and offered helpful comments. As she worked on my quilt she sent me photos of progress. Her quilting overwhelmed me when I picked up my project. I am delighted with it. She had also stitched the binding and it was flawless. Darla is a talented quilter, very organized, and easy to work with. So happy I discovered Darla.

Darla just quilted a cherished king sized quilt my mother had made for me. I couldn't be happier with every aspect of working with her. She was so timely in responding to my messages and super friendly. She took the time to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted for my quilt and patiently showed me several stitching patterns and thread options. She had my quilt done within a week of leaving it with her! I am so glad that I chose McDarla's Quilting Studio to finish my quilt. It is beautiful. I won't hesitate to do business with her in the future...I just have to get my mother to make me another quilt :)

Darla has quilted a number of my quilts, from baby quilts to queen size, and each and every one was fabulous! She is incredibly kind and helpful... I couldn’t be happier with the final products!

Darla exceeded my expectations & I am thrilled with the results. Darla is a wonderful person. She was able to quilt my 2 lap quilts in a very short time span of which I was very thankful! I look forward to learning how to use her long arm machine.
