White Barn Inn, Auberge Resorts Collection

This is our first time staying at this resort, although we do frequent by the Auberge group. We stayed at the Friendship cottage, which was absolutely amazing. The service was impeccable, never have we stayed somewhere and rated it a 10 out of ten. From the online reservation, to the Spa, to checkout it was a over the top experience. Our room was brand new, or at least felt like it. Literally a stones throw from the water and the accommodation were absolutely first rate. We ate all of our meals at one of the two restaurants on property, the Barn was the best dining experiences we have ever had. I can see why they were rated 5 Star AND 5 diamond! Not one single complaint, and made my wife's special birthday weekend nothing short of spectacular. We will definitely be back! A special shout out to the Spa Manager, the Bartender, the front desk and I assume the food and beverage director we met at out last night there. All of which made a lasting impression on us throughout the trip, first rate! I don't leave reviews often but this place should know what a good job they did. Thank you!

Amazing visit in while in Kennebunkport. While staying there we dined at the White Barn Inn and had the privilege of meeting the Executive Chef Mathew Wolff in their kitchen. The meal that followed was nothing short of extraordinary- quite possibly the best dining experience we have had anywhere in the US. Emma and Riley were amazing as were the rest of the service and bar staff. 10/10

Everything about our stay at the White Barn Inn was top notch but I’d say the service is what stood out the most. Every single person from the valet, to the front desk, to housekeeping was so friendly and helpful. They took collective responsibility for a great guest experience regardless of their job, great team work. It’s clear they take pride in their work and enjoy what they do. The day we were leaving we asked for help with our bags and the host from the restaurant jumped right in to do it so we didn’t have to wait. Definitely not his job but you would have never guessed it. The woman at the front desk saved us chocolate chip cookies because she knew we missed them the day before and wanted to try them. Those are just a few examples of the small things that make a big difference. The property is beautiful and well maintained and the smaller size makes it feel so cozy. All the food on site was outstanding. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch by the pool, and a truly exceptional dinner at the restaurant.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner at White Barn Inn Restaurant. Chef Woolf, Nathan, and Warren treated us so well. They exude warmth and professionalism. Is there a way to give 10 stars? We stayed in the Friendship Cottage, it is a massive room that screams romance. For our anniversary we had a private dinner in their wine Cellar, the personal service was beyond incredible. The chef designed a 7 course menu personalized for each of us... it was the finest meal we ever had... the staff was amazing, they literally brought new silverware out for every single course, set in a gorgeous spot with classic jazz music, it was a dream dinner. This is far and away the best place we have been EVER!! Thank you to the amazing staff at White Barn!

Incredible stay in one of the poolside cottages! We appreciated the treats in our room upon arrival, daily breakfast delivery, and the s'mores kit. We took advantage of the complimentary bikes and took a ride to the beach for a romantic picnic at sunset with a lovely basket of food that dining services packed for us. The main restaurant was also delicious with impeccable service. I was looking forward to the ice cream cart by the pool but it was unavailable during our stay, although we did get some specialty popsicles. Overall an unforgettable experience!

The cottage was well appointed and the spa services were good, but the restaurants were the real star of the show. They're very loose with snacks and drinks at no extra charge, which is great given what you're already paying. My one complaint about the Loon cottage is that the real wood fireplaces are so close to the furniture and rugs that I would never light a fire; inserts would be much cozier and less sketchy with the compact layout. It was great to watch the tide go in and out even off-season right from the living room. We had a great time.

The outdoor pool was absolutely stunning! Staff was friendly & always remembered small details about our stay (which made it very special).

Each morning coffee was delivered to our room, with a selection of chef pastries. Both restaurants serve fabulous food.

Only issue was that the fire alarm continuously went off throughout our stay.. hopefully they have resolved the issue!

We've only dined at the White Barn but it's 5 stars without question. If you're looking for fine dining on the Southern Maine Coast, make sure you make plans to stop here.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at the White Barn Inn. The congenial staff and attention to detail was incredible. Everything about our stay had clearly been very well planned and thought out. We didn’t meet a single staff member who didn’t seem genuinely happy to be there and serve their guests. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. It truly felt like a luxurious escape. Food at both restaurants was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend the White Barn Inn enough. We can’t wait to go back!

We spent the last night of our holiday at the White Barn Inn during our road trip along the Maine coastline. From the moment we arrived the staff made sure that every detail was taken care of in a friendly and unimposing manner.

The Inn speaks for itself. The beautiful rooms, homemade and locally sourced snacks and other personal touches make you feel special in this hotel.

Whilst the staff will make sure to give you a very good list of recommendations in the local town Kennebunkport, make sure to visit the Inns main restaurant. It is very special, the food and the extensive wine list were very impressive.

My fiancé and I had our Valentine’s Day dinner at the white barn inn. We loved every plate we were served. The service was incredible, we also stayed at the hotel for the evening. We were greeted at our car and from check in to dinner the service was phenomenal. The beds were cozy & they leave complimentary local treats. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the white barn inn. The service and staff were excellent. They were so courteous and attentive. Upon arrival, we were set up with lunch in the living room by the fireplace. I had the best most buttery lobster roll I’ve ever had. The drink menu is extensive with so many unique cocktails. We indulged in a couples massage at the spa. The spa staff was so welcoming and made us feel really comfortable. Dinner was splendid. Absolutely terrific. The wait staff was incredible and the food was masterful. I tried the truffles and caviar menu. I definitely got to try some new things. I didn’t think the lobster roll I had earlier could get any better until they smothered it in. caviar and truffles! Everything was amazing except the squab. I don’t think I’ll be trying that again anytime soon. The room was very comfortable with some treats and snacks included. The next morning, we had a wonderful basket of coffee and tea delivered. Such a nice touch! And finally we finished the quick one-night stay with breakfast. Again, everything was delicious! What a night stay. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at the White Barn Inn. Loved the attention to detail, the care of the staff, and just the overall vibe. It felt like we were a guest at someone's home with such personal care and touches. The place just made us feel special!

Little Barn and the White Barn are amazing. Food is so good and the atmosphere is classic. Service was great. Smart casual dress. Very kid friendly, the White Barn offers a little prix fixe kids menu! The lobster roll in Little Barn was very good and it came with a ton of fries. Amazing wine list and fun desserts. Specials every night.

We attended the Sunday afternoon tea that they do at the hotel, and it was such a great event. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and it has great decorations all around. Also, the staff was very friendly and attentive throughout. During the fall season, they have a huge pumpkin decorated in a window scene at the end of the dining room. This is a great touch to add even more to an already beautiful location. The tea itself was very well done, and they had a great selection of snacks to go along with it. This is a great experience to try, and I would highly recommend attending if you are in the area or staying at the hotel. We look forward to returning in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at WBI. We stayed in a beautiful, cozy garden room and it had the BEST soaking tub. We ate in the restaurant for dinner one night and breakfast each day. The food, wine and service were exceptional. The location of the inn is perfect—easy walk to town and easy walk to the beach.

We wanted to give a special thank you to Grace, who although was new, did a great job of welcoming us. We will definitely be back.

From the minute we arrived we were greeted with great staff, had an amazing dinner and spa experience, and the rooms were so comfortable. We went for a baby moon and would definitely recommend and go back! Even the town was super cute to walk around. It was winter so many shops were closed so hoping to go back in the summer!
