The Lodge on the Cove

We had a great stay. The staff were all friendly. The pool was a great amenity for the kids. We took advantage of the nighttime s’mores, candy bar, games and DVD library for a nighttime movie. The popcorn in the room was a nice surprise.

The bathroom in the room was a bit tired and the AC didn’t work great but otherwise the room was nice. The little outdoor deck was great to have a drink while the kids watched their movie.

Quick walk to the center of town.

We stayed here a few years ago and really did not know what to expect. The rooms were lovely in a great setting, it was really nice to sit outside on the rocker looking at the beautiful scenery.

We stayed here for a romantic weekend away and had an amazing time. The resort is tucked away and feels a little off the beaten path despite being a quick 15 minute walk to the beach or to local shops and restaurants. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Our room had been updated, was clean and was quite spacious. The porch was a nice feature too and it was really quiet. The continental breakfast was what you would expect except the lodge stands out because they had some real gluten free options to choose from - locally made oatmeal cups, Chex cereal cups, yogurts, fruit, etc. Our favorite part was probably the fire pit. We had a great time hanging out together until late into the night. We wish we’d had time to use the bikes or take the complimentary kayak trip but sadly we ran out of time. We were disappointed that the pool closed so early. We would have loved some swim time after we returned from the day but it was locked up. Overall we loved our time here and will definitely be back!

Thoroughly satisfied and even impressed with this hotel. Check-in was fast and friendly. Informative as well. The room was a nice size with a good-sized bathroom (toilet/tub/shower area is in its own room, separate from the sink/mirror, which is nice).

The facilities are perhaps the best asset of this hotel. Homey and inviting with lots to do indoors AND outdoors. Corn-hole, ping-pong, pool, poolside bar/restaurant, fire pit, lounge/hang-out room w/ a record player and a TON of records, blankets for cold fire-pit nights, etc.

The reception area and lounge is beautiful with big windows and a nice view of the cove. Nicely decorated. Breakfast pastries and coffee were perfect in this room with plenty of places to sit and relax.

Couple-friendly, kid friendly, etc. Car friendly - you park right outside your room. Can't wait to go back - hopefully will bring a few friends/family members with us next time!

We had a wonderful experience at the Lodge on the Cove! The rooms were perfect with tiny details thought out. The service was impeccable. We loved swimming and the milkshakes at the Dory, we can't wait until our next visit!

We loved it so much we extended our stay by one night. The staff is courteous and professional. The room was charming, obviously updated recently. The grounds are lovely and well kept. Will definitely come back!

Just stayed at Lodge on the Cove for 5 days. Was in town for a wedding. Many guests stayed at the other more Historic hotels which looked quite nice. But for a family with young children (3 and 5), this spot was the BEST. Lots of games for the kids (both oldschool boardgames and shuffleboard/pingpong). A great family friendly pool with Coctails for the adults. Smores around the firepit at 7PM just in time to start getting kids settled into bed.

It is a bit of a walk to the main town. We never attempted it with the little ones. But our wedding festivities were all taking place further down river and there's plenty to do there. Maybles, Lobster tour etc. Just perfect! The breakfast sandwiches each morning were one of the best I've had in a while. And I'm picky with beds and these were COMFY.

Place is great! Always our first stop when visiting Kennebunkport. Jenna makes a great drink and always welcomes us like old friends. Kids love the milkshakes. And we all enjoy the games!

My first time staying here but probably not my last. Close drive to all you need , water, food drink and wonderful views! Nice place and the young lady at the front desk is wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The hotel had a nice pool, good food and above all, a calm, relaxed atmosphere.

Came here over the Labor Day weekend this year. Great food and great service. They had a local band that played too. Love this place!
