Windsor West Apartments

Me and my wife lived here for a couple years. This is by far the best apartment we have ever lived in. Right from moving in to moving out, it was a pleasant experience.

Apartments are in great shape, The management team is amazing. Communication is top notch. They keep the entire community updated with timely email and text updates. The maintenance team is great as well. Overall, well-maintained property.

Windsor West Apartments has easily been the best apartment community my wife and I have ever lived in. The management is great! They always keep the entire community up to date on anything that is going on. They also have regular fun and family friendly events for the residents, like pumpkin painting in the fall and plenty of events with free food.

I would be remiss not to also mention the absolutely fantastic job the maintenance team does here! The few maintenance issues we’ve had are always addressed and resolved so quickly. The maintenance team even takes extra care if you, like us, have pet who might try to escape. This is something we really appreciate.

If you’re looking for a great apartment complex definitely consider Windsor West!

I had an emergency maintenance situation in which the maintenance technician had to literally break me out of my apartment because my door knob had malfunctioned and I couldn't get out of my apartment. It took some time and some serious dedication to literally cut me out of the apartment, but he did it and replaced my door knob all in the same night and was very friendly and polite. I was able to call the emergency line and some one answered right away and dispatched someone immediately. I had help within 20 minutes. It was a great experience, given the situation.

Excellent landlords, you won’t be disappointed!

**Update - after living here for a year and a half, I want to double down on my review! Tawn and Tiana are great! They always are warm and welcoming and they do all the little things that enhance the Windsor experience. Overall, my experience renting an apartment from Windsor has been exceptional!

*Note - If Tawn and Tiana's bosses are reading this, give them a raise!! The deserve it!

I lived at Windsor West for 3 years and had a great experience. The pond is beautiful and the grounds are well-maintained. Management is organized, very responsive and will resolve any issue you may have ASAP.

At the beginning, the only con for me was that there is no on-site gym, but the YMCA right across the street (where they waive the enrollment fee for residents I believe) has state of the art equipment and classes with a friendly, tight-knit community. Wayyy better than any apartment gym!

The clubhouse has a room you can reserve for private parties as well. I had my graduation party there and it was lovely.

What a great team Windsor has with Tiana and Matthew. Tiana made the entire move in process stress free and easy. We are looking forward to living here.

Calm, very well maintained, friendly neighborhood close enough to required amenities and the city.

The hose part of the sink was replaced before but apparently that didn’t fix it but we thought it did. This time they replaced the whole tap system. Hopefully that fixes the problem. But now I have to make sure that I check that area regularly because it’s been “fixed” at least twice before. Third times the charm hopefully.

Loved living at Windsor West. The staff is incredibly welcoming and they tend to any maintenance requests immediately. They truly create an environment that has made me want to continue visiting to this time. The location is very ideal near the Fields sector of the city and the highway, Tawn leads a very thorough team there.

I would like to thank Shawn for doing such a great job on two work orders. He had a great friendly spirit when he arrived and came "ready to fix" what the work order was put in for AND the extra work that was aside the original ordered So there goes 5 more stars! Thank you Windsor west for having maintenance staff who cares and answers questions while working when asked :) also who can make you laugh and smile as you see them out the door pleased with the work that was done. I absolutely love living at Windsor West. It is always clean and safe neighborhood. The girls in the office are always so helpful and are genuine concerned when there are any issues. The maintenance guys are awesome too! Thank you for all you do to make our home great!!!

Very great guy he listens to all the details and the concerns regarding the problem that needs to be fixed or repairs. He gives suggestions where they are needed and help come up with a plan that works for both the residents and maintenance staff. Very humble which helps the residents communicate and feel comfortable knowing it's ok to put in work orders for even the smallest things🤗 Thank you Luke for being YOU

Very lovely place to live. Maintenance is always here quickly if you need them. Had one problem in 4 years and it was taken care of immediately. Management is on to of everything. They are very friendly and helpful. We absolutely love it here.

I have been staying here for 2 years now. This is my first time renting an apartment here in the US so I have nothing to compare it to. However, this is what I'd say about my experience so far. Maintenance issues are resolved promptly and in a satisfying manner. The place feels safe, pretty calm, and relaxing. Love the view of a lake from my balcony. Friendly staff. A secure and monitored package room so you don't have to worry about package thieves. I have a top floor so the ceilings are nice and high. Overall, very spacious apartment.There are several other amenities to take advantage of. A quality experience!

Have lived at Windsor West Apartments for a few years and highly recommend them. The staff is great and goes above and beyond. Helpful in taking care of requests in a timely manner. Also a very diverse community with all ages and backgrounds.

I asked for a maintenance person to come - fast- to help me with an overhead light I had broken. The maintenance person was here in minutes and fixed things right away. I was worried about safety issues so it meant a lot to me that the response was so quick.

All my needs were met in a timely manner! Love this place!!

10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs an apartment in Champaign! My husband, dog, and I lived here for 4 years while I was attending school. The apartments are nice, spacious, and have the proper amount of closet/cabinet space. Appreciated the ability to rent out a garage. Extremely dog friendly with walking trials, fenced in dog runs, and events for pets and their owners to attend. Also, the staff always loved on our dog which makes a pet parent feel welcome! The pool is very well kept and the clubhouse is great to rent out. The maintenance team responded quickly and the office staff were always willing and eager to help. Residents of the community were very respectful and friendly. These apartments are worth the price!

I lived at Windsor West Apartments for two years and it was definitely the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. Some of my favorite features were the large floorplans, plenty of parking, I loved my view of the field, and the buildings are built really well so I NEVER heard my neighbors. Only con, I lived in 2514 which is right next to the highway and you can hear it if you have your window/door open or if you sit on the balcony/patio. I mostly got used to the noise, but it bothered me sometimes. Other positives are that maintenance was always prompt (never waited more than a couple hours), and all of the staff are very polite/welcoming. Our move out process has been smooth but beware that there’s a huge fee to break your lease ($2,000)! Overall, I would recommend Windsor West apartments!
