Manzella's Italian Patio

I've lived here for seven years and deeply regretting that I haven't been here until tonight. This is going to be our pizza/go to place for dinner out. The vibe/atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant, great for a date or chill feeling after a hectic schedule. The staff were very friendly and the service was phenomenal. The food was absolutely amazing. The pizza was, in my opinion, the best in the area, and I've eaten at pretty much every other pizza place around. We got a half hamburger pepperoni, and half pineapple Canadian bacon (because my partner is a heathen and doesn't mind committing the worst pizza sin). Admittedly, I did try a piece of that pineapple and Canadian bacon and I actually liked it, which is a first. There hasn't been a single other place I've ever liked that from. The marinara they use for the toasted ravioli is extremely good, speaking of, meat toasted ravioli is hard to come by here. Having grown up in St Louis area, that's a staple for any Italian place and theirs is pretty good. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. I am extremely happy that we finally gave this place a try.

Lovely little Italian place. I was passing g through town and decided to try it based on a couple of google reviews. Pizza was fantastic and really enjoyed the toasted ravioli.

Great Italian beef! Easily one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted! My wife loved the Mediterranean salad. Good sized portions at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back! Was told the lasagna is to die for. Next visit for dinner I will find out!

Had the Mediterranean Salad. Very balanced with home made dressing.... EXCELLENT. Will go back for the lasagna. 2 people I talked to told us it is Fantastic.

Our server was excellent. She made suggestions when we indicated some indecision. She checked on us often. And she was very friendly.

Manzella's is a wonderful local traditional Italian family owned restaurant. The food is always good if you are looking for that homemade taste. The pastas are delicious, the pizzas are thin with just the right mix of crispness to the crust. The atmosphere is old school Italian. There is nothing better than to sit in a booth up front with the glow of the neon signs in the window and to watch the traffic going by as you enjoy a warm comforting meal.

Had my first Manzella's experience despite growing up in the area, and I have made a grave mistake waiting so long!! All the staff were very kind, and the food was AWESOME. Their house salad dressing is delicious, and the pasta dishes my wife and I ordered were perfectly prepared. Cannot wait to return.

Really good food in an authentic atmosphere. The Italian beef is the best I've ever had, and I've had a lot of Italian beef.

Mushrooms bread and pizza is really so great in fact all the food is really nice out here my family and friends really love it and the wonderful service and the great people love this restaurant a lot !

This place is a must stop in Champaign. Food is absolute perfection!

Ordered lunch today for 9 people. Food was prepared correctly and ready to be picked up in the 35 min they promised. Antipasto salad is amazing! The combo was also fantastic. Great staple to the C-U area for many years.

Used to come here years ago and the service and food are still wonderful. The only thing missing were the candles on the tables.

You can really feel the italian atmosphere when you walk in and sit down. The food was outstanding and homemade to perfection. The service was a little slower than what we had planned but it is expected with the restaurant being homemade and old fashioned. We will definetely be coming back in the near future the fill our stomachs full.

I'm from out of town. The drinks are served ice cold. The pizza crust was perfect. The waitress was informative with specials for night.

Don't let the old world look fool you. This restaurant has been around for a long time. Their food is excellent. Best wings we have had. Great homemade lasagna. Will definitely come back next time we are in town.

We almost walked out because no one came to seat us after waiting about 10 minutes in the front area, but I am so glad we stayed. I really enjoyed their food! It tasted very similar to the food my family makes. The cheesy garlic bread tasted just like my dad's! The Italian dressing was just like my grandmother's. The ambience was also enjoyable. 👌🏼

We went to Manzella's Italian Patio this evening to have dinner for Eric's(my husband) birthday. I forgot my purse on the chair beside me. I noticed the moment we pulled into our driveway. I called Manzella's, which had already closed, I prepared for the worst, which really was just that I'd have no purse until Friday. The owner answered the phone, after hours, and I told her what I'd done. She said, "My daughter found it and she's on her way to your house right now." WHAT? HOW AMAZING IS THAT!!!?? Their daughter's name is Angelina and she was the ABSOLUTE sweetest! She explained to me that there was no way she could let me worry about it until Friday. That is the most amazing customer service I've ever had! ❤ Also, the food and service were sooooo good! Pasta was good but the wings were the best, completely surprised me

For my money Manzellas has made some of the best authentic pizza in Central Illinois for the past twenty plus years. The Bianca is especially good. The service is very good: attentive, but not constantly interrupting your meal. The woman who seems to always work behind the bar is knowledgeable about their wines. If you’re looking for the decor found in upscale, franchise Italian restaurants, you may be disappointed. But if you love a venue with the feel of an old school neighborhood Italian restaurant Manzella’s is for you.
