This was my 7 year old daughter's first time having her hair professionally done. JaMarcus made the entire experience pleasant for us both! He was gentle and effective in silk pressing her natural coily hair plus trimmed her split ends. He informed me about products to help nurture her hair and protect her style. We will certainly seek his hair care services again!

I have been using this hair salon for several years now. I love my styles! He always does a great cut for me! I have referred several people to him.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I went today with my family to see Jamarcus, my daughter got a short cut and it was amazing, then he gave my husband a GREAT fade, and my husband isn't usually happy getting his haircut but he was today. Last but not least was me, I had long fine hair and wanted a bob, I was terrified. Jamarcus looked at the pics, talked me through the whole process and understood me being scared. The results he gave me were OUTSTANDING!!! His customer service, relatability, professionalism, confidence, and kindness were beyond what I expected. Thank you Jamarcus for everything, and we will be coming back to you!!

I had been in the hospital for 12 days &my hair became tangled in the back. Awful. I couldn't brush it out so I had to wear it up until I was strong enough to go to the salon. My Hair stylist was excellent in cutting my hair to where it looks beautiful! He is awesome italking to customers & making your hair beautiful! He is fantastic and I will return because of him.

JaMarcus is very professional and knows how to work your hair. I have natural hair that was in need of a relaxer and he did wonders for my hair. "He has it laid!!"

I wasn't the one who personally used this business (today at least) but the job that Jae did on my friends son was BEYOND spectacular. He was so soft spoken, he was calm and patient with a curious 2 year old just looking around and the whole family and I were beyond shocked when said 2 year old didn't fuss at all. Jae is beyond amazing and all of us will be returning (even me and I'm from out of the town.)

Okay, first I'll start with the fact that I was skeptical of going here for a cut. I've had horrible experiences in the past when I was younger and that made me hesitant. I was on a limited budget though and most other "high end" shops across town were trying to charge me $40 for just a cut and layers. I wasn't about that at all. So I booked an appointment online today for 1:30 with Ms. Amy Jones. I arrived 5 minutes early and noticed their inspection score for last year was up by the register. 100! That is incredible and looking around I noticed quickly I can see how it was a 100. The shop was so squeaky clean and organized well! I met with Ms. Amy, showed her an inspo image of what I was looking to have done and she nailed it to a "T"! I LOVE my new look! I received a lot of compliments already and my hubby loves it too. She took her time, didn't cut more off than I asked and made me feel as if I had known her al my life. She is a real one and I she has now gained a new regular! I will be back!!!

Jae was fabulous! He worked with me and asked questions to make sure he understood the haircut and style I wanted. With a super short haircut this is a must!!!! I’ve been burned before but Jae has a loyal customer in me now.

Mrs. Amy cut my hair today and let me tell you, she did an AMAZING job. I literally hate getting my haircut because it is curly and a lot of people just can't manage to do curly hair. Amy on the other hand, rocked it. I am extremely pleased and would recommend her to anyone. Stop by and I promise you will leave with wayyy better hair than you walked in with!

I came in November 6th 2020 needing a miracle for my hair. Coronavirus had inspired me to bleach my own hair and neglect getting a cut for 8 months. JaMarcus (Jay) took amazing care of me. He is a magician. He not only corrected my hideous box color job, he gave my hair new life. I asked for a mocha base color with caramel highlights, and he delivered it. He also gave me a great haircut, I can't remember the last time my hair was this healthy and complimented me so much. He did all this while running the salon, and helping other customers. He was super professional, while also being engaging, funny, sweet, and an all over joy to be around. I'm so lucky I decided to wander in yesterday. I'm telling everyone I know to come see Jay, and I'll personally be back in 4 weeks for a trim. Thank you Jay!

Recently saw Jamarcus for a color and cut... He did an AMAZING job. I am extremely happy with my hair. I do plan on going back to him again.

My stylist was Jae and he was awesome. I got exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to style up.

I went here today me and my husband was getting haircuts I didn’t have very high expectations because no hairdressers could ever get it how I ask they always go scissor happy and my hair be past my shoulders today I went and got Demarcus and amazing gave me advice and everything he went above and beyond truly outstanding... They have some strict restrictions but we love Amy and the haircuts we get from her. A little expensive if you do a shampoo and/or a style (blowdry). If you go with clean hair and leave with it wet it's affordable.

I would like to say that I've been a customer for years at the Fairhope, Alabama Smartstyle!!I'm very please and always have been!! Mrs. Amy Jones is my hair stylist and every time I go and leave, I feel like I've had a new makeover, which is very exciting for me and my family gets excited to see me afterwards!! Mrs. Amy is a very professional hair stylist and if I ask her to do a certain style, she always knows what to do!! I will always be back as long as I get the wonderful service that I receive from Mrs. Amy!!
