Whittier Market

Worth the trip to Whittier. Go early. Cinnamon rolls sell out. Pizzas only on Fridays and Saturdays 4-6:30 but it’s AMAZE BALLS and you gotta try it.

I found out about this market store from some coworkers at work and that they make pizzas out of here too, so I had to stop in and try it and it is by far some of the best pizza in the area that I've had. Would definitely recomend trying the pizza sometime is is great. I will have to go back and try some of the other foods like cinnamon rolls they offer.

Taco macaroni salad, excellent. Cinnamon rolls, excellent. Tonight had their version of pizza, outstanding. Best we've had in decades!

Husband and I stopped in and let me say how nice it was being greeted by someone that enjoys their job. The market looked great and was well stocked in numerous Edgewood locker meats. Teresa was so kind and helpful, we will definitely be going back soon!

You've got to check this place out!! Under new ownership, so all the things you loved before (ahem--cinnamon rolls!! Knights sweetcorn/tomatoes, Edgewood Locker etc) plus lots of new things. They have delicious hot homemade soup. So far I've had the Cheesy Broccoli (better than the best you've had), Lasagna (fantastic, with cheese tortellini), and I missed out on their Cheesy Potato with Beef sausage. They also have some packaged up fresh in their cooler so you can take some home for a quick easy supper! But grab it when you see it cuz it goes fast! There's grab and go sandwiches and a panini now too, and cookies. They keep the shelves stocked with supplies you might need around the house, and a variety of grocery items. I've been there a handful of times since they opened, and everyone always walks out of there with a smile. The new owners are so nice and friendly!! They keep the coffee fresh and hot too. Neighborhood kids seem to enjoy stopping in to look around and check out the new stuff, or share their news about school/sports whatever. Great small town local business!!

Nice clean market with many locally produced goods. Highlights are Knight's Farm sweet corn and vegetables,
Edgewood locker meats including at least 6 kinds of bratwurst, smoked pork chops and pork and beef meat sticks.
Wednesday and Saturday morning they have the best cinnamon rolls around.

We stopped by their Saturday on our way to a wedding and had homemade sandwiches that were out of the world, and the woman working was fantastic and so helpful.

This is a great little store. It often has good prices on seasonal produce and always has a nice selection of meats. There are usually delicious baked goods in the case if you get there early enough. They are closed on Sundays.
