Bakerton Market

Newly opened market has basics to highs end products. Locally roasted coffee, local dairy products, small but diverse beer and wine selections and neat local crafts as well as some from South America, esp. Bolivia. Breakfast sandwiches all day long and great assortment of Bolivar Bread and scones.

Great visit today with my wife and mother. Met the new owner and her lovely staff. They were kind enough to open up the ice cream shop for us that was closed and it was great! The deli sandwich was excellent as well. They have some great ideas for the future of the market. A must stop if your in the area!

The new owners, Kevin and Katty, are so sweet! My husband and I ordered their sandwiches for our lunch the other day:) They had a menu form to fill out. My burger was awesome and I loved My husband’s club sandwich too😋 They are already looking to expand the menu:) Between the restaurant and the store, we got drinks (kombucha and coke), chips, sandwiches, and dessert for $25. We will definitely make a date out of it again.

Had lunch there today, awesome litte hole in the wall corner store. Great homemade sandwiches, the pastrami is delicious! Reminds me of a store in the Andy Griffith Show or something 👍

Absolutely fantastic market! We stopped by and thought it was great. Jerry was extremely friendly and seemed to know almost all the other patrons coming by. 5/5. Must visit to get that all-American family owned vibe.

So glad this market is right around the corner from my house!! The guy running the store is super great and his food is delicious!! How does he get his eggs so fluffy!? I love that he has all the basic necessities including beer and ice cream!! Shopping local during this time is essential!

Bakerton market is a fantastic local business that provides a great service to the Bakerton area. Everything you would expect a general store to carry plus fresh eggs, bacon, and prepared foods. Jerry and Wanda do a fantastic job and provide the community a great benefit.

Bakerton Market is the greatest store to ever exist. It has fresh prepared food, ice cream, tazers, swords, ninja stars, knives, a post office, beer and wine selection, Gambling, and really anything you can think of. As a bakerton local I’d give this 6 stars if I could

Yes it’s more expensive as is every convenience store ever, especially away from town. I love this store and I’m so glad it’s here. I hope it continues to be able to serve Bakerton for many years to come and its sandwiches are just outstanding, especially breakfast !

I've been going to this store since I was a kid...im almost 40 now...Jerry and his wife are amazing they have a little bit of everything...and their food??yessss!!10 🌟

I really like this little store it's small town USA stop in and say hello super friendly there's a post office here to and you can even get something to eat pulled pork sandwich is really good . Check it out

Jerry is one hell of a shop owner and makes some great foot, have great things there etc, good place for a half decent cheap knife too

Very friendly staff.. Just about every you need for a quick convenience store stop or for a bite to eat. The prices on some things are a little higher, but this is a general store.. not Walmart.

Wow, what a joke this place is. The only place I've EVER been to that chsrges extra for ice in your fountain soda. Scan the isles and you'll see that most of the inventory is from either Dollar General or Sharp Shopper in Winchester Virginia. A .69 cent pouch of instant mashed potatoes goes for $2.99 here. If you like to be gouged by their ridiculous prices stop in. My suggestion is keep driving, Shepherds Town is 10 minutes from there. I hope the local beer drunks around this store can keep the place in business. If not it most likely won't be around very long, because greed is their best seller.
