Outstanding service and customer relations. Got a Henry 45-70 and nobody in town had a rail. Not only did the have it, they mounted a scope with low profile rings. After they bore sighted I took it you the range, only made one adjustment. 3 days later, 8 point buck at 75 yards, one shot, one kill. Thanks Gents, I will be back!

Dealt with these guys numerous times with not one complaint and trust me, I'm a perfectionist - I know how to complain. always willing to talk, answer questions, give personal experiences and opinions and ever so patient. Owner even called me after hours to tell me my background check went through. Could have done it in the morning but these men are hard working Americans who care about their community.

Nice selection and some customs from time to time. Can be a little pricier but time is money and a few extra bucks is worth the time saved getting my questions answered by them (instead of the Internet) and their fast service. Education and convenience costs money, whichever way you want to spin it.

Had a fantastic learning experience with Instructor Chris! My Very 1st time ever holding/firing a pistol - Chris was extremely knowledgeable and patient - carefully explaining everything the entire session. Chris put me at ease and taught me- step by step - the handgun instruction I was seeking - and so much More! I felt especially good, ' cause he was all about Safety - and teaching me process with substance. AND he didn't Show Off with his Expert shooting skills - but I was very impressed by his demonstrating proper technique and form. I feel confident and excited with this training!! I'm going to start this review by pointing out that I am a very particular and detail-oriented person. I desired to have the bull barrel on my .17 HMR prairie dog rifle threaded to receive a suppressor. I contacted a number of buddies in my "network" in the Killeen/Belton area and they were hard-pressed to come up with anyone they could personally recommend locally. I expanded my search and had a buddy in Georgetown point me to Kyle Simank (owner) and Dave Moreno (on-site gunsmith) at Guns Plus in Georgetown.

Unlike other shops which just take work in and ship it out to a third-party gunsmith (thus incurring greater turnaround time), Guns Plus does their work on-site.

Kyle and Dave took the time to explain the process and the tools they would use on my rifle, how the barrel's crown would be protected with a brass insert during the lathing process, and how they would use a suppressor identical to my own to check the concentricity after the work was complete.

The job was finished early and under-budget. I was charged $25 less than I was quoted at the counter when I walked in, and the work was completed just 3.5 days after I dropped the rifle off (they estimated 5-6 working days).

I couldn't be more pleased. All this took place in mid-March of 2021 when people are, literally, standing in line for guns, ammo, and service.

FOLLOW UP: I took this rifle to Wyoming in July 2021 on the intended prairie dog shoot and took dogs out to 300 yards (under windless conditions!) with many, many more taken at closer ranges. Dave's work was great and stood the "real life" field test.

These guys rock! Very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions... they just provide fantastic overall service. I picked up a couple of optics from them now. They helped me install them, ensured I've got proper eye relief, and sighted them in. Super happy with all my purchases!

Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. I was trying to do some maintenance on my receiver and they helped me out free of charge. It's obvious these guys love what they do and Kyle was more than willing to go above and beyond to satisfy the needs of customers. I definitely would recommend this place to others.

REALLY great service. We met 4 of the staff on our first visit. All of the guns that we bought were lost in an unfortunate boating accident, so we don’t have any guns, but when we bought all of our guns the service and everything was great, and then we had the terrible boating accident during which all of our guns were lost.

To be clear, we don’t have any guns. But when we buy guns, we get them from this shop, and then promptly lose them in unfortunate boating accidents.

I had a very good experience today at Guns Plus. It was my first time there. My shotgun had an issue. They inspected it and suggested me to try my warranty first. They could easily have taken it to fix themselves. But they were honest and tried to help me the best way they could. I'm very satisfied and certainly this is the place to go!

I’m still in the process of buying my firearm but the service was great, they seem to enjoy helping people with their questions and assisting in purchases. I see reviews where people are upset because they felt screwed over but they’re simply giving you facts and opinions, it is YOUR JOB to distinguish between both, and ALSO YOUR JOB to do your own research before making a decision, don’t blame these guys for decisions that YOU made. I did my research as a beginner and watched many videos/reviews/articles about my firearm before making the decision to buy.

What do people expect when they ask “is it a good gun,” well it shoots, it works, what else do you want to know? Prepare your questions in detail or be ready to trust them on their expert opinions. AGAIN, those are OPINIONS! Personally, I thought they were great opinions, but that’s my opinion. 🤷🏻‍♂

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Prices were great, the store was well stocked and had everything I was looking for. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

Kyle helped me find the perfect carrying pistol. Made sure it was comfortable in my hand and that I could handle it correctly. When I tried to go for the lower grade product for cheaper, he and the rest of the staff walked me through why that product was not in my best interest. It wasn’t about the money or commission, they wanted me to love my daily carry and have a gun that is best for me. The time spent when I asked to see 20+ different kinds of guns and the knowledge he had on every single one was incredible. I walked out confident in my purchase. Truly thankful for the help, and the means to protect myself and my family. Thanks yall!

Loved this place I was buy a rifle fire the first time. Even though I grew up with them and shot them often I still didn’t have much knowledge. I asked them about reliability and a overall good rifle and after my purchase I probably put 500 rounds that same day no issues and still keep shooting. Very friendly staff, there is no such thing as a stupid question with them. I do think their ammo is alittle steep in price compared to a few other places but good gun prices. Going to be going back for more.

Always get great service here. These guys will answer your questions and take good care of you. Went to another shop and was not happy. Came here and they order everything I wanted no problems.

I had no idea what I was looking for. I just needed a good AR to protect my house. I told hunter and Adam my price range and they hooked me up with such a good deal. This is exactly what I wanted to do… go support a local business that deserves it and I even got to learn from an army veteran. I must’ve been there for an hour and half asking so many questions but they did not mind. Very welcoming employees/environment. COME HERE before any other gun Gun store. I saw a few items a couple bucks more than what Walmart or bass pro may sell them for. This is because they are trying to survive from buying retail price and it is worth spending 2$ extra on ammo to support a local business when they sold me a weapon for a great price no other big corporate store would. Don’t be scared by the just few one star google reviews. Really really big thanks to the two dudes who helped me out, they made me confident. See y’all soon

Recently attended their License to Carry class and I highly recommend it!
The instructor, Stephen, did an excellent job relating his real world experience as a police, to the course. Stephen's knowledge and experience made the class enjoyable and informative!
I have found all of the employees in the store to be very knowledgable, helpful, and pleasant to deal with.

Great selection, Great prices bla bla bla. What stood out to me was how awesome the staff are. Kyle literally set aside 30 minutes to piece out some 1911 parts for my build (at a killer price) and shared the same enthusiasm for the hobby as I have. This is also the first shop ive been to that doesnt alienate the 3d printed arms community.. in fact, they were very welcoming and clearly understand that we are on the same team here. Lifelong customer for both my retail and defcad builds.

Had a great experience with them after having a winning ticket in a raffle for a gun. I was not aware of the process to get the gun and they were very open and involved to ensure that the process took as little time as possible. Very friendly staff and extremely informative as well. When I go to these businesses, I try to evaluate the stock as well as the service received. I can report that the shelves were well stocked with ammo and they had quite a bit of accessories as well. Highly recommend them after that experience and I know I will be back to them to do business.

Hi everyone, I wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU to the staff at Guns Plus for treating with me with dignity, respect, and educating me! I recently decided to buy my first pistol and went to Academy Sports and Outdoors in Georgetown where the guys at the gun counter wouldn't even acknowledge me. I then went Bass Pro Shop in Round Rock where they sold me a right handed gun when I am left handed. Thankfully I singed up for some lessons with Grant and LTC class with Stephen from Guns Plus. Grant took the time to educate me all aspects of being a gun owner. Never once did I feel silly for what I had bought and the reasons I was told I needed to buy it. He explained why it wasn't a good fit and had practice guns with him that I could try. After my lesson we went back to the store and Guns Plus bought my gun for fair market value and helped me find the right fit for my needs! I couldn't be happier with the pistol I got! I now feel confident enough to protect myself and or my family which is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Simply stated go see the professionals not a big box store! Everyone in that store has real life experiences and education to help you make the right choice for your needs whether you're young, old, man, or woman!!!!!

This would be my second time buying from these folks over the last 3 years, both times the quality of service I received from Kyle and Steven were exceptional and should be how every store conducts their business with their customers! Both times I drove over an hour to get to the store and this second time today they even stayed open 30 minutes later on a Saturday because they knew I was on my way and I had called in advance. That’s serious customer service! Another gentleman (wish I caught his name) helped my wife pick a better holster for her CC which greatly reduced printing and was much more comfortable for her!
Their prices were competitive and the selection was great!
After today they earned my business and I’ll be sure to give them my recommendation to my buddies!
