It was my first time to eat at The Cotton Patch. Caroline was our waitress. Such a fantastic waitress. She kept our All-You-Can-Eat Catfish coming and our water and teas filled. Her personality is an asset to The Cotton Patch. We will definitely go back. The menu has something for everyone be it grilled or fried, salads, pork chops, burgers etc.

Wasn't expecting such good food! Grilled shrimp were excellent. I am a seafood nut so I've had me a few shrimp. These were perfectly cooked and not over seasoned. 8 pieces of good sized shrimp plus good rice and fried okra. My server was awesome as well. Will be back.

We were traveling through Denison today and had lunch at the Cotton Patch. They were very busy, but that caused no issues with service or food. The service was great, they take good care of their customers, the food was great and of great quality and presented well, the portions are excellent and the price is fair. All in all it was a great place and I recommend it highly and I will definitely be back. I got so distracted when the food was brought to us that I forgot to take pictures upon its arrival, so after we already started eating I remembered pictures, sorry about that. The food was great.

Cook staff!! Amazing job! I don't think the people in the back get appreciated enough!! Food was done perfectly! Everyone was friendly! Clean environment!!

This is the first time here. It was recommended by my step daughter. It was very good. Prices were reasonable and portions were just right. Unfortunately I couldn't eat everything I got. The buttered buns we got were so hot. Just out of the oven. DELICIOUS!!! We were celebrating our 20th anniversary! We definitely will be back next time we get here!!

Before we talk food, a shout out to our server, Ireland. Despite being somewhat busy and having worked the lunch shift too, she was really attentive and so welcoming. I also need to drop in a conversation from another table. Their server told them he’d been at Cotton Patch before he was born. When his mom was pregnant she worked here! So cool. Now, to the food. Some of the best queso ever. I know that’s a bold statement but this brisket queso is downright craveable! Our entrees were a solid high scoring hit too. We had the chicken fried brisket and chicken fried steak. As a note, I told my better half the green beans so good they tasted like they came from the family reunion. For dessert, I couldn’t resist the Mama’s cake—yellow cake and cheesecake combo. It’s definitely rich (no surprise) but my was it was it tasty. If you are passing through or just need something different, this chain won’t disappoint.

Went there to take my mom and daughter for their birthday. We had an awesome server. He was friendly and on top of his job. I wish i could remember his name. He had kinda long straight hair. I wish we could have tipped him better.

We went for my husband's birthday lunch. The order got messed up so they comped our complete meal including his birthday dessert.....100% quality, service, and all with friendly smiles. Thank y'all so much. We will definitely be back!!!

Good food. Most of the wait staff is good, some shouldn't be servers. Always busy. Can't stand the sports on the TV.

Update: after 3 years of not being able to eat here, because it's too crowded, Tonight was the night! Grilled Cajun Duo!!

Love this place especially the chicken fried chicken and the other is the three cheese bacon burger Derek is a cool Manager and Z is a damn good employee love them both known them a long time cuz been going their for years

Clean, not noisy. Comfortable and friendly. Had the 🐔 chicken fried brisket...different but good, recommend the Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce. Friend had ribeye..said it was really good.

Food and service were great. We love the $10 menu items. The current economy makes us look for good food at great prices, Cotton Patch covers it all!

1st time was great, i appreciated the fact that they took our temperature and had social distancing signs, every one EVEN THE COOK had a mask on , thank you to our server Daitza R. she came around like clock work. not crowded at all .

We came in for the $5 Chicken fried steak (my hubby's favorite). My salmon was absolutely delicious. But the best part of the meal was our server, Destiny D. She was so bright and friendly, despite the challenges of wearing a mask through serving and working a busy restaurant. Had she been able to take a break and sit down with us, we would have welcomed the opportunity to get to know her. Her hospitality felt like friendship. So Destiny, thank you from the Smiley's. Came here recently for a family meal. The service was very attentive. Portions were large and all the meals were cooked well. I ordered the chicken fried steak and chicken combo. Also, I recommend trying the Nashville "hot" with jalapeno gravy. It was very good!!

Honestly this is all that’s left from our first meal here. The staff was great! The chicken fried steak is crispy and made with great flavor. Their jalapeño gravy is $$, and the jalapeño cornbread is also fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place!

Good food and service at reasonable prices. Very friendly service and large portions. We almost always get seated without a long wait and the food is always hot and tasty.

We ordered the pork chop and it was wonderful. The broccoli was crisp. The salad was fresh. We also ordered the ranch hand. It too was great. It had sauceated onions, with brown gravy. It was good and hot. Also had chicken fried chicken. It was good and crunchy.

Food is pretty good. (I personally like the jalapeño gravy on the chicken fried chicken.) We usually have excellent service, which really makes the difference.

2 chicken fried steak dinners appetizer and great rolls less than $30! Food was great fresh and we enjoyed the meal!
