The RailYard Food Hall

First time ever trying the Railyard, went in on an impulse. The simplest way I can describe it is its like a bunch of food truck vendors got together and decided to get a building for AC. It's a bunch of different smaller restaurants with their own food styles and selections in one place. Maybe even high quality food court would be a better description. Not knowing what to expect it was a little overwhelming. I ended up deciding on Thai Loco and trying their Spicy Thai Fish taco and the spicy tuna Poke Bowl. Prices were very good for the amount of food. The quality of food was excellent. As I sat waiting I went over the entire menu and picked out multiple items at every establishment I would order. And expect them to be of at least close to the same quality. Absolutely great environment and great for groups as everyone can get food from a different style no need to decide on one for the group.

What a great place to grab some food and a beer! We were not aware of this place so it was a nice find. The manager, Sky could not of been friendlier! We ended up eating at Thai Loco and buying a bottle wine. Both very good! They have two other restaurants in there that serve various sliders and another that serves Mexican food. They also have family fun events on Wednesday and Fridays.

This place is excellent, and for multiple reasons. It’s “food truck meets air conditioning” with 4 (soon to be 5) food concepts all incubating with the dream of going bigger, PLUS a brew bar with massive tap list and wines. We tried plates from Sliders and from Lettuce Indulge, along with a tasty Irish Cream Ale. From the pics you can see the presentation. Order at a counter, find a table (indoor or out) and the food comes to you. Ambiance is railroad art in a historic building, with a piano for live entertainment instead of the traditional acoustic set. Choose this place for the overall experience AND to help aspiring entrepreneurs reach their dreams!

You know, living in Texoma has been a bit of a Foody *miss* after having lived in Frisco. This is one of those unique, wonderful spots where each vendor is so excited that you came in— they try super hard to exceed expectations.

We’ve had Lettuce Indulge, Sliders and Thai. Don’t miss the potatoes / fries at Sliders… a one word description: ADDICTING.

First visit and will be going again. I got the vegetarian fried rice and a vegetarian sushi roll with tofu. I really liked how the lady at the counter asked if it needed to be made vegan or vegetarian when I ordered it that was a very big pleasant surprise. I’m not one for drinking pop, but there was a craft cream soda on the fountain drinks station and it was so good. It was a little slow but I also went during lunchtime Friday afternoon. Over all I’m really happy with my experience is was clean, the food was good and staff was friendly.

Interesting idea, have a spot where people can find out if their restaurant ideas will work in a given area.
My hubby and I had etoufee from Burreaux’s, love us some Cajun food! Will be back once a month, for date lunches ;)

Love the food, love the atmosphere!! Kid friendly and tons of variety on TV from sports to fail army shows.

Very awsome place..they have everything ..great place to pick a lunch from sliders to sushi to chicken fried steak and a noodle bar ...washed down with Texas made beer and wine ..love it ..never knew it was here .lol

A less overwhelming version of the huge "hall" in Frisco, because sometime 100 options is just too much! A good variety of food options, with one more on the way. The facility was clean, tables are not on top of each other and pretty much every single person that works there was extremely friendly. Nice bar with a great selection of crafted beers and mixed drink options. We had sliders and beer battered fries, next visit?? Who knows, but we will be back!

We love Sliders! Green Growler is great but they've moved into a new location. Also, Lettuce Indulge is now near Sherman by Craft Pies. But we love Rail Yard for all the options there are to try!

Exceeded my expectations. Took some friends here who are from Dallas and they were pleasantly surprised. We ate at The Usual Cantina and Sliders. I would’ve taken pictures but forgot my phone. The burritos were flavorful and super fresh. Everyone was beyond friendly, helpful and truly went above and beyond!

My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town when we discovered this little hidden gem. Such a cool concept to have all kinds of different foods in one place. We enjoyed the Mexican cuisine. We returned on Sunday to have breakfast, but there was only one restaurant and the bar open. But such a cool little place!

This was a really great find- so much variety and great upbeat friendly atmosphere and all the food was great- hot, fresh and tasty without exception

Good as usual. We have ate Little Piggy, Little BLT, Jalapeno Jam, and The Slider. Rosemary and loaded fries. I have had their Chef salad and husband the flat bread the Italian at Herb Flatbread.

If you've ever found yourself trying to please everyone's food requests and want to feed everyone WITHOUT driving all over town, then The RailYard Food Hall is the place for you!

The staff is incredible! Seriously, they make us feel like family. The environment is clean and relaxed. You can accommodate everyone's palette in one place. Healthy and tasty options and an ice cold brew to top it all off! Take a stroll around the beautiful downtown area after you grab a bite, or stay and relax.

I find myself bringing all my out of town guests and lunch meetings to the Railyard repetitively. I think it's safe to say I'm hooked!

Incredible unexpected options from food to beer here. Sliders are on point, and perfect portion. The owner, Chris, sat down and went over the extensive beer list and made us feel right at home. Everyone here is friendly as it gets. Got us wondering if we should move away from Dallas!

“Sliders” is amazing. My husband is addicted to the loaded fries and the jalapeño ranch dressing. I love sampling a new and different beer at the Green Growler in back. All of the food kiosks have nice staff and excellent service. It’s clean and fun. We go frequently.

I was a little surprised at how good the food ended up being; we had Sliders. The burgers were great, but the FRIES were the best I’ve had anywhere (I’m not kidding). The textures are perfect, the flavors are delicious and the customer service made me feel like I was at Chick-fil-A. Will definitely be back!

My sister-in-law and I went here for lunch. We had neither been here before. I was very pleased at the setup and atmosphere of the place. We ate at The Usual and the food was delicious! I loved their fresh made pork rinds I am looking forward to going back there with friends and checking out the green growler.
