Taste of Dandridge

I gave this diner a 5 because they made the best steak I've ever eaten from a restaurant. I never order steak because it's usually a miss for me. Dandridge is delicious

The pecan cobbler for dessert was tasty, too.

The best food we've had in a long time! Very good catfish, coleslaw baked beans, prime rib sandwich was huge and pecan cobbler was the absolute best. Extremely good people. Our server was Noah and they just don't come any better than him. We will be regulars! You will love it ❤

My husband and I were looking for a local restaurant we haven't been to. Why it took us so long to come here, I don't know. The food was delicious and our server Whitney did an excellent job. Ordered a medium rare prime rib sandwich that was so tender I was able to cut it with a butter knife to better fit it on the roll..and while it may not seem like a big deal, I appreciated the fact that they still refill your coffee instead of giving you a mini pot. We will definitely be dining there again. Note: There is a discount for cash so consider the ATM before stopping in

Unexpected stop at this restaurant. Pleasantly surprised! Had the Monday special, pork chops. Everything was good. I didn’t care for type of vinegar in the slaw (just my not my preference). Price was good. Personnel were fantastic. Will eat here again on next trip.

My mother and I just moved to Dandridge and decided to give this restaurant a try and let me tell you, we were very pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food was! I got the twins filets and those were the absolute best steaks I have ever eaten in my life! My mom's chicken tenders were so tender and juicy and the breading on them was just the right amount of crunchy.. not super hard breading like most places have. All the sides that came with both dishes were delicious also. We also got two slices of the 7 layer chocolate sin cake which were huge for the price we paid for them and also to die for! I have no complaints about the food or service whatsoever but I was a little upset to find out that they do charge a $3.24 charge on top of your bill if u decide to pay with a card instead of cash. I don't understand why businesses are starting to do this policy.. makes no sense to me since everyone pays with plastic these days:/ great places to eat though:)

I'm a truck driver and passed this place coming from a truck stop. I found a parking lot down the street and pulled in. I walked almost an 1/8th of a mile back to the restaurant. I'm sure glad I did. They have great deals on filet minion, but I chose the cowboy ribeye. Everything was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

Love this place I ordered a 14oz ribeye steak and it was cook perfect and was so tender I went to cut into the steak and it was like cutting butter. All the staff were very friendly the restaurant is always so clean. My server was amazing I never had to wait on anything I would recommend taste of dandridge for anyone who wants great food and service. Keep up the amazing job guys at taste of dandridge.

Absolutely delicious!! Wait was too long at a neighboring restaurant so we decided to give "Taste of Dandridge" a try. Great decision. I got half rack of ribs and hubby got a ribeye. Both cooked correctly. Our server Noah was fantastic!! Food is priced at market rate.

Wound up here when everywhere else we tried was closed and glad we did! Everything was great, prices good. We came mid-afternoon and everything was fresh. Catfish was perfect, hush puppies great, fabulous yeast rolls, baked potato perfect, bbq chicken moist, okra and green beans seemed to be fresh cooked. Service was great.

We made a quick stop here as it was close to the Lakeside of the Smokies Balloonfest and we are so glad that we did. The service was great, the chicken wings were delicious, and the wood ceiling was beautiful. Definitely a great little restaurant ideal for a quick stop with some good friends to enjoy some yummy food.

1st time eating here but will not be my last time. The catfish just melts in your mouth. The sauté veggies was very tasty and the French onion soup was great.

As for my waitress...very friendly and polite. The southern accent put the icing on the cake. The staff were polite and made sure to do some small talk.

Cute place. Had dinner. Was delicious! Great service. If ever in town I will return to this place. Truly a great experience

Had a 6 oz Sirloin baked potato salad. My family all felt it was great food. Steak was perfect. Hot cheese bites were awesome as well.

We were staying across the street, tired from traveling and hungry. Ruby Tuesday or a local place? I am so glad we chose local! The food was ready for pickup in the time I was told and piping hot when we opened it up. We ordered catfish and chicken tenders and both were delicious as were the sides. While picking it up, I looked around for cleanliness, etc and it all looked good.
We will definitely return when we stay in Dandridge again. PS--we are retired restauranteurs and I'm a former cooking instructor.

Beautiful place, old style. I had the prime rib sandwich, let me just say it was Devine. Service a 10 out of 10. Must try the French onion soup!!

If this is what Dandridge tastes like, I may have to move here! This restaurant is wonderful. The service is great and has a wonderful atmosphere. All of the staff that we encountered was so very friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better meal!

Very good food, menu you would expect has a good variety for everyone. Local restaurants rule as I tire of chains. This is a great place to plan to stop and eat if traveling.
Very clean with good lighting.
Don't miss it.
