Tonya's Cookies & Bake Shop

Wonderful! Have been to this cute bake shop a few times to try different items and all were so tasty! She does a variety of donuts and cookies, which are my husband and I's favorite! Tonya is also so warm and welcoming to talk to. She even does cakes and was kind of enough to give me a red velvet cake from the back. Don't miss out on her famous pecan crisps either!

We recently used Tonya's Cookies & Bake Shop for a special family occasion, and we couldn't be more thrilled with their services. Their cakes and cupcakes were unbelievably delicious, a true highlight of our event. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness in meeting our specific needs were impressive.

In addition to the baked goods, Tonya helped me brainstorm some additional side dishes for our meal. She and her team then offered to cater those elements -- providing truly amazing veggie platters and salads for our event. Tonya and team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, contributing significantly to the success of our celebration.

Picked up a variety of cookies this morning for a coworkers Birthday. Everyone wanted a bite of all of the flavors because they looked so good! We cut the cookies and every one tried at least 3 or 4 different flavors and every cookie flavor was great! Not too sweet not dry and had a great balance. What a cute shop! I drive by Tonya’s often and finally stopped by when searching for my husband’s annual red velvet birthday cupcake! Everything looked so yummy, I also picked up a mini key lime pie and a chocolate caramel tart. So far can report the key lime pie was 10/10 and my husband just called the cupcake “the best red velvet cupcake he’s ever had”!

From out of town but found this 5 star rated bakery on Google and ordered a birthday cake for a local family member. Tonya and staff were very accomodating, quick and courteous in making and delivering a delicious carrot cake in less than 24 hours. Amazing service. The cake's recipient said it is the best carrot cake she's ever had!

Tonya was so eager to hear my ideas for a cake for my daughter's graduation from UNC Charlotte. She listened to my suggestions and created an amazing cake that was exactly as i pictured it. Not only was the creative element amazing, but it was equally delicious! Everyone loved the design and said it was the BEST cake they ever had. Thank you for making my daughter's day special with your unique touch. I will definitely order again!

Placed an order online for the chocolate pecan pie and was delivered to me in MS today. Omg when I tell you this pie is soooooooooooo good. The packaging was perfect. My mom has been on the phone telling all her friends how good it is.

I had never heard of Tonya's bakery before but I attended a birthday celebration for a dear friend this past Friday and the dessert table was filled with straight-up deliciousness from Tanya's. When I saw those pecan crisp cookies, I didn't know what they were, but I could tell just from their appearance they were going to be good and OMG! That first bite did not disappoint!! When I got home I scoured the internet looking for a recipe that sounded like what those cookies tasted like. I made a batch of a recipe I found and while they were good, they were not anything close to how tasty Tonya's pecan crisp cookies were. Today, I happened to go to their website & I was absolutely delighted to find those cookies could be ordered & shipped to my home & I did not hesitate & ordered them so fast!! Now that will be one package that I can't wait to receive. My husband thought her mini pecan pies were delicious, too, and I did manage to get a bite of one of the 2 he devoured. He didn't lie, they too were delightful. I rarely get to the Chapel Hill area nowadays but I might have to take a day trip to Chapel Hill so I can look at all she has to offer & buy a couple (or several dozen lol!) of her treats. All that to say this, 10/10 recommend ♡

I got a Carolina Cake for my sisters graduation and the cake turned out beautiful! It also tasted so good. I was impressed with their level of service as well as how fast they were able to make the cake. It was ready for pick up within ~24 hours during graduation week which I was so impressed with!

Tonya made custom Peppa Pig and rainbow cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. They were delicious and the designs were a hit with all ages. Beyond that, Tonya is responsive, kind, and easy to work with. We'll be back for future celebrations!

Stumbled on this place and saw it had 5 stars. It was incredible! The cookies and donuts were amazing.

Bought the most delicious cake from here!! Everyone raved about the cake, even mentioned it in the week after the birthday party. Also tried the chocolate covered strawberries which were 10/10!

We love Tonya's! She made a delicious gluten free cake for my wife's birthday. It was so good and so easy.

The cake reminded me so much of my moms which is so hard to find anymore! The cake was moist and the butter cream was traditional made with love. They were so accommodating to decorating the cake as well. I was so happy to bring this cake to my God daughter’s birthday party. It was very nostalgic to me.

This new bakery is amazing . I tried them all- chocolate chip, oatmeal and blueberry lemon along with pecan pie cookies. I completed my Christmas shopping as well with selections from her gift offerings. Visit this new shop- you will love it.

Tonya's cookies and donuts are extremely delicious. I tried the oreo and salted caramel cookies, along with a raspberry-filled donut. It was excellent! And the customer service from Tonya herself was delightful as well! I would go to Tonya's for cookies over any of the big competing chains any day of the week.

This place is awesome. Best desserts I've ever had and lots of variety. So happy to have this new spot here.

Please do yourself a favor and check out Tonya’s! A friend and I stopped in to get donuts for my birthday and these were the best ones I’ve had in the Triangle. Kudos to the owner for creating such a lovely shop and lovely pastries!

I was given these pecan crisps from a friend for the holidays and they are frankly delicious. And for those of you who are gluten free, that’s a nice bonus. Can’t wait to try her other items!
