As a customer and now an employee, the new manager Timeka is doing an excellent job all the way around. She takes care scheduling employees to meet individual needs.
She has done a lot of work merchandising the store as well as bringing a positive attitude towards customer service.

Manager Timeka and staff are personable, efficient, and the store is organized. My initial interaction was to sell my preloved items and since have purchased great bargains too. Sell, Shop, and Save!!

Every time I come in it’s so pleasant and I am always being help! The people there are very good and helpful! I would recommend them to anyone! This is one of my favorite places to shop!

The store is way more stocked, and full of caring employees and staff willing to help. I recommend checking it out!

I was in Clothes Mentor the other day and I was very welcome as I arrive. The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable and the store was immaculate! A girl name Ashley assisted me she took third time to explain the brands and show me what she thought would suit me. Before I was leaving the store manager came out to welcome me and introduced herself, her name was Monique and she was very friendly and let me know that the whole staff what is Disney in anyway possible. When I left I was properly graded and I felt really good about myself and about shopping there. I will continue to shop there not only for the clothes but for the excellent customer service I receive that day

Excellent customer service! Selling was easy and I earned $52 cash today. Note that items must be in like-new condition--they turned down anything that showed the slightest wear. The person who helped me explained a little about the process. She said one jacket would probably be accepted in the fall, but she couldn't use it right now. Also, the prices are set by their computer system, not by the salesperson. They ask you to make an appointment if you have more than 2 bags to sell. I was new to this shop and found the process extremely easy! I will definitely return.
(PS--I got nowhere with the Stock Exchange. When I tried to make an appointment online, there were no openings in all of 2022, and they never responded to my email.)

My first time at this location and I found some beautiful pieces. Ashley was very sweet and helpful! There was a small tear in one of the dresses I got and Ashley took an additional percentage off the dress because of that. I will definitely come back to this location again!

I had a really positive first experience selling here. They were really responsive to my emails asking questions about how things work there, what they do and don't buy, etc.
When I brought my stuff in they were pleasant and efficient. I feel like what they paid was fair and reasonable.
I am focusing on downsizing and getting rid of things so I wasn't looking to buy anything while I was there but they do have nice things there for folks who are buying.
I will definitely continue bringing items to sell Here!

Misse is a great employee, very knowledgeable, and provided me with the best customer service!! She was very helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. The Manager also provided assistance and was great to work with.

I was in earlier today the service was amazing!!!! I walked in they asked me if I needed help with anything they kept making sure I was satisfied with my purchase! One of the workers even made sure that none of the clothes were damaged before I even paid! It was an excellent experience and overall amazing team work and service

Awesome selection and prices! I think the location is key (just far enough away from UNC) because it ensures a nice assortment of brands and items the students sell and at the same time ensures it hasn't been too picked through like it constantly seems like it is at Rumors!! I am so glad I found this store and the items seem to be my style too, so I'll be back! Don't forget to use your birthday discount during your birthday month :)

This well stocked consignment store has better customer service then I have encountered in some of NC's finest boutiques. Stopping by is never a waste of time either, they refuse to sell less than the best quality clothes.... I NEVER feel as though I am searching through junk to find treasure!
Just this morning I was in, when a lady came in with loads of clothes to consign. The clothes were very outdated, a few baring unsightly stains. The crew handled the situation beautifully! After inspecting each item carefully, they found one nice garment from the lot of them. In all of this---- they never once made the seller feel uncomfortable! They perfectly maintained their standard of only selling the best. At the same time, the lady left with a smile on her face!!! ..... and a slip of paper bearing the name of another consignment store that would be more suitable for her clothes.
The gals in there are incredibly good at putting things together so an outfit shines, and are more than willing to help out if you need it!

I LOVE Clothes Mentor! I discovered this gem several years ago and am proudly a weekly regular. They carry a variety of the latest styles for every season! The clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories are like-new with a great selection of designer brands as well. I can no longer justify buying much anywhere else. The staff is always polite, courteous, and helpful. I cannot recommend this store highly enough!!!!

This location went out of their way to ship something to our vacation spot so my daughter could receive her birthday present before her birthday. The gift was a hit and it was due to their efforts we were able to make her day. Thank you!!

I love this place! They always have the best stuff. Tons of stuff brand new with tags. Amazing bags. Very sweet and helpful staff. Go check them out! Oh and always having killer sales going on!!!

I have been to the Clothes Mentor (Chapel Hill) a few times now, and have been extremely pleased with my experience every time. I have brought bags of clothes in to sell and usually take take about half of what I bring in - which is just fine because the reason I am bringing the clothes is because they don't fit or I don't want them - so anything I get for them is a bonus, and I take the rest around the corner to donate to the PTA Thrift Shop. I appreciate their high-standards on clothing - they are looking for like-new condition clothes, not the standard 'gently used'. And that is what I am looking for when I shop in the store - like-new clothes, not clothes I have to pick through based on condition/wear. The staff is always above and beyond attentive, getting you a basket as needed and always on hand to open a dressing room. The store is always clean and has a great variety of clothing styles and sizes. I don't think I'll buy clothes from a department store again! I've found everything I've needed here - from dresses to wear to a wedding, to work blazers and blouses, casual tops, and my favorite purse. Can't say enough good things, truly.
