Glory Bound Gyro Co. - Ocean Springs, MS

I come here for lunch all the time, the servce is a little slow but friendly, but the food and atmosphere makes up for it. I highly recommend the club gyro and the hummus appetizer, but all of their options are delicious. Overall it's a lovely place to go to lunch.

Placed a pick up order to go. Tried the Pepperjack Gyro and the Original Gyro Plate!!! Outstanding and definitely will be back soon for more!

Phenomenal! Thank you Chole for taking care of our table. The Hummus was so good I started eating and forgot to take a picture. These are Texas-size portions y’all. I recommend the Hummus Trio and pick any Gyro. I got the Pepper Jack and it was on point. Pita bread and chips were seasoned and warm. And our table also got a perfect pizza. Please stop by and show some love.

This place was great!! The food was excellent, the service was great, and it is in such a cool area. In the middle of a very walkable “Main Street”. Everyone from our hostess, to our server, to the manager were all very nice. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, and two kids meals all under $50. They offer live music certain days of the week. With a nice sized outside patio area, with a lot of fans, it is really enjoyable. Would highly recommend. Even if you’ve never had a gyro you won’t be disappointed.

If you are new to the area or just traveling though the lovely Ms Gulf Coast, Glory Bound is a must stop in Ocean Springs. We enjoyed the Original Gyros with a side of Pita Chips and Hummus and a Greek Salad. The beer selections were perfect as was the live music by #HB1. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the availability of seating inside and outdoors is great. Go try it for yourself I have a feeling you won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommend this restaurant! The atmosphere is so chill and the waiters were so nice. The food was so fresh and everything tasted so good! I highly recommend trying the cajun hummus (for a bit of spice) and the falafel! They give you a decent portion and also offer a military discount!

This is probably my favorite restaurant in the area, just wish I still lived closer. Food is always fresh, staff is kind, atmosphere is always great. Worth the 50 minute drive 1000%. Please open a location in mobile 😭

Glory Bound Gyro Co. in Ocean Springs is a must if you are ever in town. Everyone at Glory Bound Gyro Co. is so friendly and inviting. They have indoor dining and outdoor space with a bar and stage for live music. The worst thing about my visit was selecting only one entree from the menu. So many appetizers and meals to choose from. I very much enjoyed my Pepperjack gyro and my Greek side salad. Good portion too. The chicken, bacon, ranch gyro wasn't as enjoyable because the chicken was just so dry.

I come down from Texas to get me a loaded pepperjack Gyro and add shrimp. Homemade Falafel is also a must when we come to Ocean Springs. Bathrooms always clean and staff is friendly. My hubby is originally from MS so I’m so glad we can try some delicious Greek inspired dishes with a unique twist. I only order every time these two items and because they are so good I have not tried anything else but sure it’s delicious too. Their sauces and falafel are from scratch so definitely if you are in MS you should give them a try.

Immediately got a table around 8 PM. Service was great, food was tasty. Vegetarian options are great as well. Jerk Chicken Pizza was unique and tasted good.

It's been a year since we moved to the area and so far this is the best place we found to eat and hang out. Also our 3yo lives to party there.

Me and my girlfriend came in tonight and Alyssa was our server. While it took a few minutes to get to us (Friday night it's pretty busy) she was very knowledgeable about the food and recommended good choices.
We ordered the hummus trio as an appetizer. We chose the chipotle lime, garlic-basil, and spinach pesto hummus flavors and hands down best hummus I've ever had.
I ordered the pepper jack gyro, no onions and sauces on the side. The comeback sauce is pretty good, also dipped fries in it since I got it on the side, and the tatziki sauce is thick and Delicious. I have to say after eating at a bunch of really good Greek restaurants back in Virginia Beach, the gyro was prob the best I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back for more.
My girlfriend ordered the classic gyro also with no onions and she also said it was very good.
There was a live band outside and they also do live music on sat from what I could see.

Solid five stars, and I don't give those out easily.
We enjoyed our walk to the restaurant and loved the sport bar type atmosphere. Plenty of fresh air and well maintained.
We heard about this place from a lady all the way in Gautier and she said that we had to try the pizza. She was TOTALLY right.
Danielle, our server, was spot on with the suggestions. We ordered the pizza and she asked if we wanted onions on there (even though they are on the menu). This cued me to actually ask for half and half.. which was an excellent thing. Then Danielle, asked us if we wanted ranch dressing as well. I never even thought of that, and turns out it was an excellent suggestion.
The pizza was absolutely fabulous. The place you to be a pizza place with a fire oven, so they just kept on serving pizzas.
I am anxious to actually try the gyros next time, because our pizza was out of this world delicious!

The best pizza I have ever tasted. We had no idea a Greek food place would serve such magnificent pizza, but we were told by the receptionist at Shepard State Park that we must try it. I am so glad that we did.

My husband and I split one Funky Meaters Pizza for lunch. The crust was crispy, the toppings were plentiful and the flavor was exceptional. The waitress suggested ranch dressing and that pushed the flavor-meter over the top!

Our waitress also told us the building used for Glory Bound in Ocean Springs was once a pizza place, so they kept the pizza ovens and added pizza to the menu.

If you ever are in the area, this pizza is a MUST try. We will definitely be back.

We went there to see the band Royal Horses with some friends. Cool atmosphere for night time band. Outside but had covering and cool lighting. Music was great, drinks were good and service was great as well! Didn't have to wait to long for our drinks which is an awesome thing when going to a bar that has a lot of people.

Update- the Gyros are incredibly tasty. Great visit today!

Update - stopped in with a group of seven and ordered several appetizers and entrees. Every single item was awesome. Fresh. Tasty. Very enjoyable visit.

Really liked this place. Staff was very friendly and happy to serve. We sat at the bar, watched the litlle league world series and watched the very skilled young lady chef hand make pizza kneading and assembling from scratch and cooking right there in the brick oven. She even gave the classic dough toss to entertain :-) Clean place with an amazing multiple bar live music outdoor space. Food looked great. Can't wait to come back.

I live an hour away, but I make it often, the drive is always worth it! Great food, great service, great drinks! They use fresh ingredients in everything from food to drinks. Many restaurants use mixers for their drinks, not Glory, and it makes a difference! Can't wait to come back.

Return visit to Glory Bound Gyro Co. In Ocean Springs, MS. This time we were able to sit in their outdoor courtyard!
Only good things to say! Great setting, Our server was top shelf! The drinks were generous, the food was served super fast and everything was prepared very well.
The Seared Ahi appetizer was excellent, the Gyros were 5 star and then we ordered a pizza to go that was old school homestyle…! From now on when I think of Dining in Ocean Springs this will be the picture I won’t forget. Great stuff!
