Service was awesome! Place is weird but definitely cool. Food is excellent and prices are very fair for the quality. Skip the fried pickles! The red ranch and barbecue sauce are amazing. All the meats are fantastic and a great beer selection. A little dead in the winter but definitely laid out for busy times in the warmer months!! Great place to stop, stretch your legs and have tasty food. There’s a boardwalk over the lake and lots of stuff to explore.

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and we’re so glad we did! Super cool atmosphere and the brisket and mac-n-cheese and hushpuppies were all delicious! Can’t wait to come back at night and hear the live music and enjoy the lights and vibes!

The Shed Barbeque and Blues Joint is very much the way the name sounds. An extremely eclectic collection of memorabilia covers the grounds. Fun things to look at. The blues stage is extremely casual with ample seating. The restaurants are large with lots of merchandise for sale. The big star is the Barbeque. Large portions of delicious food and sides. A fun place to stop, eat and stretch your legs.

I am so excited I found you! I have been trying smoked brisket all over this country for decades and have never found one I thought was worth all the hub-bub....until now! The sliced brisket was off the chain! Cool atmosphere with friendly employees! I can't wait to come back!

Great food. I got a generous amount of food. Chicken and brisket were tender. Mac n cheese was creamy. The cashier was super nice. You could purchase t-shirts, cups, all kinds of souvenirs. They have an area for a band as well. I was looking for a restaurant and found this wonderful shed with gravel rock all over. You could call it a whole in the wall. But it's definitely a place to visit.

This has overall been some of the best bbq we have found. Ribs fell off the bone. Plenty of sauce. Pulled brisket was soft and tender. Potatoe salad was different than what I am used too but it was really good. Mac and cheese was creamy and noodles cooked perfect. Sweet potatoe casserole was some of the best from a resturant that I've had. Lots of parking. Lots of things to look at and purchase. Atmosphere was awesome. Pet friendly. This is a great stop!!

Love this place! Great hole in the wall type of place, very unique atmosphere with delicious food! The meat falls right off the rib bones and the brisket is amazing. There's a big sand area for kids to play in, patios along the river and great live music!

Brisket pulled pork and baby back rips were amazing very well seasoned and basted with their signature barbeque sauce ... Definitely was a great experience and a must place to visit not only for the yummy food but for their country and layed back atmosphere... Their decor is unique and something in any corner will catch your 👀

After seeing this restaurant on the Food Network we knew we had to stop on our trip through Mississippi. The food is absolutely delicious! Some of the best BBQ I have ever tasted. A super fun atmosphere and friendly staff make it that much better. Great place to stop!

Side of the road blues and bbq very tasty. Also had a full bar. Very large venue with mostly outside seating. There are also a lot of souvenir items to buy.

We thought the food was delicious. The meat had a great smoke flavor and all of our meat was tender and juicy, nothing was over cooked or dry like you occasionally see with smoking. The sauce was great, we had original, the flavor was great. The brisket and chicken were both awesome, you could see the difference in the jumbo size and regular size plates. Lots of drink options, it’s all self service. Other than the person that brings out your meal, which comes out quickly, you do it yourself. The place is fairly large and has picnic tables. Music is playing or the have a band, both is great. Lots of interesting decorations throughout and outside the restaurant is also adorned with many unusual decorations from repurposed items. It was a great spot, I’m interested in going back during crawfish season they have a shed just for that. Will be back here again for sure.

This place is so good I drive 2.5 hours each way I get the 2 meat combo xl ribs and slicked brisket you will have enough for a couple meals and it is amazing

Here's a really unique place to get your barbecue on! It is a shed, no hyperbole or advertising hype found here. Totally pet friendly and the owners and staff are right there to make sure you're not wanting for some tasty southern vittles and entertainment too! There's also a kids play area and dedicated saloon too.
It's all as homemade as that fulfilling barbecue tastes, and charming as mommas needlepoint hanging in the kitchen.

We stopped here in our way home. A really fun spot with a lot of crazy decor. I had the brisket, greens, and Mac and cheese. All were amazing! The greens were spicy, the Mac and cheese was creamy and the brisket was incredible! It pulled apart and was very tender! I sampled the ribs and those were delicious! Highly recommend stopping here and checking this place out!!

Update Nov 23:
We have since come back a couple times and it seems our one mediocre experience was just a one off thankfully. Although the Mac n cheese recipe is still changed, it was much better the second time around, I guess they just had an off day or were still transitioning the first time we got it. The pulled pork, ribs, and hush puppies are some of our favorite things to get!

OG review:
We normally love the Shed and have been ordering from here every couple weeks or more for the past year and half. Our favorites are normally the pulled pork, ribs, mac n cheese, and sometimes we splurge and get brisket. Tonight we got the mac n cheese and brisket and were surprisingly disappointed. The meat was rather dry, and it seems they changed the mac n cheese recipe? It was less flavorful, but also the flavor palette of the mac n cheese changed a bit and no longer complimented their sauce and meat very well. One of our favorite things to do is mix the meat and sauce with the mac n cheese, particularly with the leftovers, but we felt that their original sauce and the mac n cheese just really didn't mix well at all. The mac n cheese by itself was ok; just kind of tasted like a kids' mac n cheese, and the pasta was pretty overcooked. Maybe they switched to a white cheddar that was more mild than before (it was a yellow and perhaps sharper cheddar previously if i had to guess)? Not sure, but it definitely wasn't what we were used to.

2 stars may seem a little harsh, but compared to our past experience here (which I would easily rate as 5 stars) the food felt like a 2 tonight, especially for the price (we spent about $50 this time).

It's a shed. A cool, built upon, funky, unique place. Full of friendliness and specialness. Didn't see any gators.
Ate, drank, hung out on the dock and slept overnight in our RV in the parking lot. Quiet easy place to rest recharge and relax. Ribs were excellent. Beer on tap was an amber and very tasty. No formal sit-down waitress service here. Just order at the bar and find a picnic table to sit at.

This place is the definition of a "joint" and that's not bad. This is my second and immediate visit back to this fabulous place after hopping off the plane. I'm not one to avoid the Ritz Carlton but I'm also not so far from the farm that a rustic setting would put me off from the most delicious unique BBQ joint I have ever had the pleasure of attending.

We got there late but it was worth it. Sliced brisket in all it's glory. My Aunt lives down the road from here and she may as well live next to Disneyland because this is a must visit location. All the food was prepared and packaged to go. They had the bread isolated from the sauced and seasoned BBQ meat so that it did not get soggy. Forethought. A+

I would seriously like to be able to visit when the blues are blowin' and get some local bourbon from the bourbon bar but that will have to wait until next time.

Grab some souvenirs too on the way out because they have something for everyone.

A very unique place to get BBQ, have a beer and listen to a band. The place is enormous, mostly covered but open air. Dogs only allowed outside. Bbq was delicious as were all the sides I tried. We didn't have to wait long for food and the country band was really good. A bit loud in the front room, with the band, but you can always go to another room farther away. Bathroom is a bit of a hike but clean and plenty of stalls. Would visit again.

This is quite literally the best bbq I've ever had in my life. I got brisket, mac and cheese and fried okra and all 3 items were 10/10. The whole restaurant is an experience in and of itself, definitely a super cool place to check out.
