Great company. Had my transmission in a 2005 Dodge Dakota replaced. They even came all the way to Steedman Missouri, 1hr. and a 30 min., away from their shop, to tow my truck back to their shop at no charge. We just drove to southern Missouri and the truck drove fine. Andy, gave the transmission a 6 month warranty and said, " if something happens to the transmission with in a year they would work with me." Andy found a good used transmission for the truck with 80'000 miles on it. The entire cost of the installation and transmission was $1,500.00. I've never met a nicer mechanic then, Andy. He was very helpful. The customer service there was great!

My husband and I broke down in Missouri on our cross country road trip. It turns out, it was our transmission. Someone recommended Central Missouri Transmission to us and I just have to say what an AMAZING job they did! Andy was so helpful, he even gave us a ride back to where we were staying after we dropped our truck off. Central MO Transmissions is THE place to have transmission repair and replacement done. Andy is a true professional. They repaired my truck and my dad's and for each truck we got them back, delivered, within days. Andy is excellent and Lucas, the driver, is A+. They are a great team.

Several days ago I asked for recommendations for a good transmission mechanic. Several folks recommended Andy at Central Missouri Transmission in Fayette. When I called him, he was very polite and offered to pick it up, since it would not move in any gear. His Dad, also a very nice feller, picked the truck up the next day. He called the following day with a diagnosis, that part wasn't good, but expected, and said that it would take a couple of days to rebuild it. He called this morning to tell me it was ready and I went to pick it up. Not only did he repair the transmission, for less than I had originally expected it would cost, he gave me a 2 yr., unlimited mileage warranty. Plus, when I got there, he had washed the truck, vacuumed it out, and even wiped down the interior. No one can ask for better customer service than that. He went well beyond what I expected. If anyone needs transmission work in the future, you can't do any better than Andy. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Service

My son attends college in Fayette, MO at Central Methodist University. 5 hours from home and from our regular trusty mechanic. It's always a bit nerve racking when you get the call and he says, "Dad, my car won't move. It starts, but it won't go anywhere." Uh oh! Immediately you think $$$$. Well, Andy at Central Missouri Transmission was OUTSTANDING. Not only did they get the repair done quickly, but also extremely honest and reasonable. Also differential fluid change. Second time using Central Missouri Transmission. I neglected in not rating the first time. Andy and his crew did a wonderful job. I drive about 1 1/2 hours for Central Missouri Transmission to work on my HD trucks. Andy is a good Christian man - says it all!

Hands down the best customer service I've ever received. My transmission went out near their shop(I was 3 hrs from home), I called on a Sunday and Andy said to drop it off and he'd take care of it. They were very busy but made time for me and had it done in less than a week.

I needed a rebuild on a 2002 F250 7.3 diesel transmission. I was referred to this shop by a friend of mine and decided to read the reviews. The reviews looked great and their website instilled confidence in their abilities. After considering several shops and pricing, I decided Central Missouri Transmission was the place I wanted to use.
For a heavy duty truck like mine Andy offered me two options on the rebuild. First was was what he refers to as the Upgraded OE and the second as the heavy duty upgrade. The difference being about $1000 dollars. After considering my use and application of the truck I opted for the upgraded OE. As it was I felt confident in the transmission to meet my hauling needs if it weren't for what was diagnosed as a leaking forward clutch pack.
The OE upgrade included a heavy duty Alto forward clutch pack, H/D precision RV Stall torque converter, transgo hd2 kit and upgraded valve body, upgraded pump (flow and volume)with upgraded TCC holding. In addition to rebuilding the complete transmission assembly. Then its filled with synthetic transmission fluid. (If I missed something I am sorry)
The cost was at least 25% below a OEM replacement that doesn't come with any of the upgrades. So it was worth the drive and they warranty the transmission for two years without any mileage restrictions.
Customer service was great, Andy is very personable and I feel confident that he will steer you in the right direction for your needs. The other employees I met were very helpful as well. They got me in in under a week and I had my truck back in better than original condition a week after that with a holiday in the middle of it all. Andy also saved me from making unnecessary purchases even though for him it would mean a bigger pay off. If you live in Central Missouri or close I would recommend you consider them for your transmission repair needs. If you don't get someone the first try, leave a message Andy will call you back, he is probably out in the shop getting his hands dirty. THANKS to Andy and to the other members of Central Missouri Transmission, I feel confident my truck will stay on the road for years to come.
