My 5-year-old loves karate at Shinsei! The prices are very reasonable, Sensei Allie is patient and kind, and every week my son is building confidence, being active, and having fun. Highly recommend!

My daughter absolutely loves her karate instructors and her classes. It has helped her develop discipline and character. I cannot say enough about Shinsei Martial Arts. They take the time to get to know the children as individuals and as a family. We are blessed to have found this wonderful place for our daughter!

Awesome place and staff!!!!! Our 16yo goes twice a week and absolutely loves it. They are super inviting, if you are looking for a clean and friendly definitely check this one out.

My Kindergarten daughter attended aftercare here and was always in good care and it was very affordable. Their summer camp is also great and the times are very good for working parents. She loved the karate class so much the we signed her up for continued classes when we no longer needed aftercare. They push the students to do their best in a kind and engaging way for them. We love it so much we signed her little sister (4) up for the karate class as well! We love the Shinsei staff!

Great place for karate and if you have a child needing before or after care for school, this is the place to be! Great environment, great morals. I highly recommend you to check them out.

Shinsei Martial Arts is not just a place for martial arts, but they are family to everyone who walks in their door. My son, who has been attending for less than a year, has completely changed in a positive way in all aspects of his life. Sensei Allie and the entire staff, puts every fiber they have into making sure that every student succeeds not only in marital arts, but in life. My family is thankful for finding such a gem in St. Augustine!

We have one very strong-willed child, and after exhausting our options, we felt helpless without a viable option to help her and ourselves! Although we never thought of Martial Arts as disciplinary means, a trusted friend suggested we should give it a shot... We are very thankful we did!! Sensei Allei is a mester with strong Christian values, and his caring staff has helped our girl in so many ways we couldn't even think possible! My son has been going to their after school program for 1 year now. When I first signed him up, I didn’t realize just how much we would be getting out of Shinsei. They do 1 hour of homework before class starts, which has been super helpful, and my son has met great friends. Some of the instructors are high schoolers and are such good roll models for my son to look up to. Just such dedicated well rounded teenagers. My son lights up when he sees them and often talks about them at home. Pick up is 6:30pm (I never pick him up that late) but sometimes my son asks if next time I can pick him up later haha because he is having so much fun. Has taught my son that if he works hard he can eventually achieve his goals. I have seen a difference in my sons work ethic and I believe I has Shinsei to thank for that. I could go on forever about just how great this program has been. Appreciate everything they do and the difference it has made in my sons life.

Both of my children are part of Shinsei Martial arts and let me tell you it has been the best activity for both of them. I have a boy 9 and. Daughter 6.
They are learning skills that keep they focused and increasing their self confidence and worth, by striving to want to do better for themselves as they attempt to get higher belt levels. Sensei Ally is firm and loving. He really makes the children feel safe and secure and I am happy with training and the accountability Sensei requires from each student. I am truly grateful for his spiritual side of the class as well. Making sure the students learn what the Fruits of the spirit are and how they can demonstrate them inside and outside of the dojo.

We love Shinsei! Sensei truly cares about the students and pushes them to challenge themselves. Since enrolling my son, I have seen his confidence go up so much!

I am so grateful I have found this great school for my son. I love the values that are taught here. Sensei Allie is just wonderful. So kind and respectful. He pays attention to every student and teaches love, discipline and hard work. I love that Christian values are taught, that scriptures are quoted and that the class is closed with a prayer. Our son, Vincent, loves going to summer camp here at Shinsei Martial Arts! He really enjoys the structure and Christian values infused in this martial arts style. This camp is very accommodating to working parents, they have early drop off along with after care available. The field trips are also a big hit with our son!

My son learns so much more than just karate through Shinsei and Sensei Allie in the past two years. He continues to learn self defense, mental control, inner strength, leadership, citizenship and stewardship. This is a non-profit organization. The cost of classes is extremely inexpensive and scholarships are available. Any business interested in sponsoring are always welcome. Most of us parents try to help in anyway we can. I doubt most of the instructors even get paid for all they do. It is all done out of love. I could not be more appreciative for all my son gets out of this incredible program!

My family loves Shinsei Martial Arts and Fitness! They don't just teach martial arts but also strong Christian values. They are very family first! My young son attends and they work with him on school work too.

My son (6 years old) has been attending summer camp for the last 3 weeks. It said it all for me when he came home the first day and was excited to go back - he never does well on the first day of anything new. The staff is very caring and attentive. They make sure that the kids have a great time with a great mix of fun and educational activities.

Noah is getting benefits of martial arts instruction that is centered on the Truths from God’s Word in the Bible. We've been taking my two daughters for years now. We researched other places in the area and ultimately decided on Shinsei because of the price. Im so glad we made the decision. Sensei Allie has been a wonderful mentor, friend, and teacher. Hes thoughtful, tough, kind, and provides an amazing experience for the kids. My older daughter joined when she was 4 1/2 and my youngest joined when she was three. Both have come out of their shells and have grown into little warriors - understanding their limits and then breaking through them on a near weekly basis. We have switched from class to class due to other scheduling restrictions and have been welcomed each time by the Sensei and the class. There is a true sense of comradery and even family. Years later we go because we are excited, not because its a chore and that can be difficult with young children. If you are on the fence, dont give it a second thought - join. You wont regret it.

My kids 9 and 7 usually don't like summer camps, but they have been excited to attend camp at Shinsei ever since they started last month. We are looking forward to the rest of the summer and hopefully the after school program as well. Highly recommended.

We’re new to Shinsei Martial Arts but decided to try out their Summer Camp. We’re SO glad that we did and signed up for the rest of the summer! Tons of different activities for a wide range of kids, not only Martial Arts but too many to list. These kiddos are always doing something. I feel they do practice safety COVID standards by temp checks, masks on field trip bus rides and more. If you’re debating don’t, just go check them out 😊
