Michael has handled both of my parents literally a month apart. He arranged for mom to be sent from Fl to NJ for burial. Since dad was literally a month later, we could not afford another over the top expensive NJ funeral, and we decided to cremate dad and let him go to NJ with my brother for burial. Plans changed often as we struggled with decisions(4 sibs…) Michael was always patient, kind and generous with his time and support. He did everything he could to make this difficult time easier for us. He was wonderful to deal with and I highly recommend Steele’s if you need a funeral home.

Steele handled my fathers cremation three years ago and my mothers cremation a year ago. We really like the fact that Steele has a crematory right on premises so we knew where our loved one was the entire time.
As I reflect on the Anniversary of mom's passing I still remember how kind, caring and professional Michael was. He helped make the painful process easier to deal with. Steele's was extremely professional throughout the whole process of caring for my Father. I had a number of meetings with Michael thru the years, and when the time came to use their services they were prompt, and pricing was as advertised.

Also, after we took possession of my Father's urn, and the Death Certificates, they have continued to communicate thru email with some very valuable tips, and recommendations. I can freely endorse them wholeheartedly.

I was recommended to Steele’s by Florida Mortuary in Tampa (where we used to live) and after talking to Michael at 2am the first time, I was comforted that this was a good choice. He led me through the steps that needed to be taken and updated me on everything as soon as he had something. While we didn’t have the service there, we did most everything else, from death certificates to picking out the most beautiful urn. I was very comfortable and pleased with the compassion and care I received.

We dealt with Michael a lot in the last six months as we lost both our parents very close together. Plus we live in Michigan and had to handle most matters over the phone. He was always professional and prompt. His manners are impeccable! (I’m sure his parents would be proud of him!) We highly recommend this funeral home family.

Steele's helps to make a difficult and stressful situation easier. They are very professional without coming across as uncaring. They take care of calling Social Security, ordering the death certificates and actually send you follow up emails with lists of people you will need to contact once a loved one passes away. They don't try to price gouge you either (and I have seen it happen with other places). I recently lost my mother and Steele's helped to take some of the burdensome responsibilities off of me and my sister while we were trying to process our loss. I would definitely recommend them.
