Gavins Ace Hardware

Was really jammed up trying to put together plumbing fittings to install a dishwasher with dissimilar hoses from washer to water line. I tried the big box stores first and was at my wits end as none there could help or had a clue. Went to Gavin's where I was assisted by Joe. He spent quite some time to help me and was able to put together the right configuration that I needed. What a relief. Returned several days later for propane and landscaping stone. Did not catch the name of the employee who assisted me but could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Great crew and the cashiers are very pleasant and seem to enjoy their work

So I went back today still needing the paint for my wife to finish my sons project. I was not looking for a manager or anyone to complain about my experience yesterday. However, the manager Ed recognized and approached me as I was waiting. He apologized and definitely made it right for me. I appreciate him and he definitely understands the meaning of customer service. The paint manager was a very pleasant lady as well. Thank you.

Extremely well-stocked store with knowledgeable employees. You don't need to buy High volumes of anything. Small Fix-It parts for the house, plus large tools and anything you need. This is my favorite hardware store.
Additional review: I have returned to town after the hurricane and I'm thrilled to see Gavin's is still here and is thriving even more than before. Plenty of employees were circulating to help me with all the small parts and big items needed to put my house back together. It was reassuring to find the best hardware store in the area is still going strong. Thank you Gavin's!

I love shopping at the local Ace Hardware stores. Personal service and knowledgeable staffs. This one was no exception! They even had the spray glue I needed! Excellent service!

I like going here because hardware stores always have unique things for gifts. This particular store has helpful, nice staff. I went in yesterday to make a return for a friend. They don’t have a special counter for returns so I had to wait in the checkout line, no big deal and there wasn’t any issues. The prices here are comparable to Lowe’s and Home Depot so definitely a great option for shopping.
