Best pizza in Virginia, hands down. We got the pretzel crust on the BBQ special and "Mort's Special" a regular menu pizza that's somehow exactly the Supreme my dad would get growing up.

You can hear em working the dough if you dine in, so you know its fresh as can be

I searched for Chicago style pizza and this place came up. I ordered the “Detroit Dish” pepperoni. It is right on North Massanutten Street. There is plenty of parking outside. There are approximately 5 tables inside. The tables are wooden slat top. You can see from my picture that the restaurant is very close to the road. The Detroit Dish has pepperoni with marinara sauce dripped across the top.

I thought I have tried the best pizza when we traveled to Chicago, IL. I was WRONG... We stopped here on our way back home to CT from GA during our weekend trip & I must say, Wowww... Service was pleasant & our food came out very quick. The wings were very flavourful & crisspy. The pizza was so Cheesy, yummmm- so CHEESY. It was Amazing, you can taste the quality in their crust & cheese. The ingredients were fresh & the crust was soft. I ate what I would describe as the "Perfect" slice of Pizza. Thank you so much for your service.

I have tried all the pizza joints here in Strasburg and Alforno is my go to. Everything is delivered hot and fresh. The Wings are so good. They dont skimp on topping or meat on the pizzas or Strombols. Their pizza crusts are tender and flavorful... not dry and bland. You guys do a great job!

I had the personal “The Italian” pizza. Crust was perfect, sauce was amazing. Husband had the steak and cheese sub. He says it was awesome. Fresh and full of flavor. Onion rings and fries were perfect too.

Had a very nice conversation with the new owner and his front of the house guy. The Baked ziti was much better than another local Italian place because it was actually cooked and not still dehydrated. The Garlic Knots were delicious. Saving the Margaritta pizza for tomorrow because the ziti was enough to share. Welcome to the neighborhood Brandon and crew.

Great environment. We had garlic knots and pepperoni pizza. Both were very delicious! Wonderful service too. And very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

It wouldn’t give me the option to select the calzone on google, however, it is a must try!
The all meat calzone is hands down the best calzone I’ve ever tasted in my life. The owner was incredibly nice and great with his staff. 100% recommending this place to everyone.

This was our first visit to Alforno's. We had the New Yorker Slice Pie. The crust was thin, tasted great and was sooo big!. I am going to go back to try their other items. Go check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Alforno is under new management and it blew my mind. The food, from appetizers to entrees the Calzone was just phenomenal, exquisite, scrumptious, choose your word, they meet the standard. The owner and family runs the shop, they are humble, friendly and eager to please every patron that walks to the door. Fantastic experience, affordable prices, great food. We will be back.

We ordered salad and pizza and it was delivered in no time. Best pizza we have had in a very long time. Their homemade ranch dressing is the bomb! We were extremely satisfied all the way around. Still eating this dinner and already looking forward to ordering again. Most Definitely a Must Try!!! Thank You for coming to Strasburg,😋

I figured out why their pizza is so fantastic. They make their dough fresh every day, using this monster of a machine to help them. Get the garlic sauce instead of regular pizza sauce. Yum!

Tried for the first time, ordered the steak and cheese and an Italian sub slightly modified. The bread is soft but has a nice texture and the toppings to bread ratio are well balanced. I'd say they have the best subs in town!

First time ordering from the restaurant......very polite on phone, service was great, delivery guy was polite.....food was delicious.....best Onion rings and cheeseburger, I've ever eaten.......

Definitely well worth the money.......and I'll definitely be a regular..

We found this place by accident. We were greeted by the owner, Brandon, and he told us how he came to own it and that they make everything by hand. The pizza was delicious. It reminded me of the pizza I had in Italy. We took some home and had it the next day and it still tasted great.

If you live in Strasburg, VA (or nearby), you need to have a night out - or pickup and have a night in.

Found this place on our way out from a 4 day hike in GWNF. We got so lucky. It was exactly what 5 guys who had been eating hiking food for the past 4 days needed. The pretzel bites and pepperoni rolls were made by hand and were delicious. I don't have any problem if a restaurant uses pre-made frozen items, but I just want to highlight that is not the case here. It was a Monday afternoon and the owner was there by himself making the food, so it took a little longer than you might expect, but when you realize it's all made by hand then you understand and it's worth the wait. The owner could not have been more accommodating. Where I live in Southern Maryland desperately needs a restaurant like this.
