Millie's Cafe

Definitely recommend Millie’s as a simple, fun, and great place to eat in historic Panama City. We wanted to have some seafood and Millie’s did not disappoint. We started out with some gator bites and cheese curds. The gator bites were cooked perfectly and very good. The cheese curds were good but would have liked the same breading the gator bites were done with. I ordered the fried oyster platter and my wife ordered the shrimp in cheesy grits. Both were very good, the oysters were fresh and cooked perfectly. I had a side of coleslaw and cheesy grits. Everything was very good and we wood definitely come back here again. It is not s large restaurant but that is what gives it it’s charm! The service was quick and very friendly. The sodas are bottle served so no refills here in case that is your thing.

The food as always was delicious. The service was great and the overall experience was terrific.

Decided to stop in based on reviews and the menu. We had fried pickles, grouper sandwich, fries and a bowl of crab bisque. I would come back. Everything was fresh and well prepared. Restaurant and bathroom were clean. Only criticism I have for ownership is to clean the salt and pepper shakers. Those on our table were very dirty. They need a good scrub. I almost took off a star. I use salt and pepper and it takes away from an experience when they are filthy. The details matter in a restaurant experience. Only other thing is the crab bisque needed salt but I get it people can add more but you can’t take it out.

What a great place! I had the French dip and it was perfect! Crispy fries and real au jus. My husband had the chili and it was homemade with bell pepper, perfect. Can’t wait to eat there again! Clean restaurant!

The grouper fingers have quickly become my go-to order!!

I love grabbing a late lunch or early dinner from Millie’s! They almost always have live music and the outdoor seating beside the mural is beautiful!

A very charming cafe with beer and wine and live entertainment. Great patio tables with a street view and a perk view. New brick pavers going in so a bit of construction this trip. Definitely a spot to visit with local charm and a bit of New Orleans style food. Get the beignets!

We had such a good time here. Meet new friends, hung out, ate a great meal and the entertainment The Czeckers were a riot! We will go back!

We love Millie's restaurant and go there every time we are in Panama City. It is downtown and backs up to a beautiful Park. The fried soft shell crabs are second to none. We have never had a bad meal at Millie's. There is seating inside and outside where there is a beautiful mural that is not to be missed. The service is always friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is festive. If you are at the beach be sure to make a trip over to Millie's. You will not be disappointed.

Great food and great music by Chris Wade Music. Had the grilled grouper and the seafood platter which had grouper, shrimp, and crab cakes. The crab cakes were the best I've had so far in Panama City or PCB. They had actual pieces of crab and a great breading mix. The grilled grouper was really good and not salty like a lot of places here. The peanut butter pie was awesome and the beignets were good.

We went on Friday at around 5-6. Service was fast and polite food came out real quick and was amazing. I got the tuna dip is so good. Shrimp were fairly big and very yummy. We sat on the patio which is where you should sit there is a beautiful mural to look at and for us there was a great breeze. They had live music on the patio. First time we have ever gone but we will for sure be back

Great music, food, and people!

This is one of the quaint treasures of downtown Panama City on Harrison Avenue. It is a small place but the outside dining area allows more seating. It is located next to a community area where local artists have placed murals on the walls of the buildings that can be seen from inside and outside. This outside area cuts from Harrison to a beautiful park behind the restaurant. Local live music plays on occasion so if you are seeking atmosphere, this is the place. The food is New Orleans style and seafood. My husband had a bread bowl of she crab soup which was amazing. I had a grilled grouper sandwich that I truly enjoyed. If we had enough room we would have gotten the beinets like we have many times before but we got stuffed with lunch. Definitely do try them though because they are mouth-wateringly good. Wonderful place for lunch and dinner. Perhaps the spot for a casual informal first date for lunch.

My favorite spot to eat lunch! The grilled buffalo sliders are my go to.

The food and service are always amazing. We had the seafood platter and I'd say that the shrimp, oysters and grouper were some of the best I've ever had. As an added bonus, Bruce and the Legends were performing and they were fantastic!

The waitress handled multiple tables all by herself and was on top of things! Good food, great people, and an outside dinning area to boot. Definitely worth the try if you're in Panama City! Wish I caught the waitresses name! She made it an amazing evening, THANK you!!

Amazing food, awesome atmosphere ....Chris Wade live music. He was so entertaining. Super nice staff! Can't believe we are just now finding this great restaurant. Downtown PC has some super restaurants.

Love this place so relaxing Dog friendly because of outdoor seating. Live music by local artist. Absolutely love the Gumbo beware has a kick. Been here 5x haven't had anything we didn't like. Love there blackened shrimp, coleslaw and cheese grits.
