An amazing place!

While out on our summer road trip to Ohio (we live in PA), we had spotted this place in a county tourist magazine as a great place to stop….so it was first on our list!

This farm market is absolutely amazing. I would honestly say that it is probably the most amazing farm market I’ve ever seen! It is large, and just filled to the deal with so many things. There’s also just so much to see as well! The building is based around a silo, which we did not even realize until we found the room that is actually the silo. I’m not sure if it is an original silo that was on this farm property or if they had just built it this way, but either way it is an amazing thing to see and stand inside of.

Everywhere you walk in the produce place there is some sort of interactive scarecrow or other item that the kids can see. The first thing we spotted was a scarecrow that was rowing a boat hanging from the ceiling and the oars were actually moving. Things like this are what draw us in when we are looking for unique roadside attractions. There was also a talking apple tree in another area.

The fruits and vegetables were plentiful. Everything was so fresh. Unfortunately we missed the blueberry picking, but hope to come back around next year and try our hands at it. There were a couple sample apples that were in boxes to try which I thought was a nice touch. I had never had these specific apples before, and was very excited to try them.

The kids were excited to find a candy wall and were able to pick some items to purchase with their own money. If you wanted a novelty drink, there were plenty to choose from on another wall. They had souvenirs as well. Everything from ornaments all the way to shirts with their name on them.

Even the restrooms drew attention. The doors had names of apples on the outside, based off of a lady or a man. Inside the stalls was a newsletter that was labeled “The Toilet Paper” to clue you in on events going on throughout the months.

There was absolutely so much to see in this place that we wanted to make sure that we saw it all and tried pieces from different areas. We picked up a jug of apple juice, a fresh loaf of pepper bread, a dill pickle from one of the large jars, a block of cheese, a square of fudge, and of course their famous blueberry donuts. We took them to a picnic table outside and enjoyed watching the geese walking by as we ate.

After eating, we purchased some fish food to feed the catfish in the pond. Then, we made our way over to the chicken coop turned playground area. My kids absolutely loved this because they had never been in one to play before. There were trapezes, slides, a rope swing, a swinging bridge out front along with metal kitchenware hanging to make lots of noise.

The gardens were absolutely beautiful, and there were plenty of benches to sit and just take in all the scenery.

I do not think they left anything out when it came to this property. It was kid friendly, picnic friendly, and serene…. we will definitely be returning next year!

I’ve been visiting White House Farms for years and have barely scratched the surface of the selection of items they carry. The cider is great, as are the jelly’s & preserves. Fully stocked store with a deli and great produce.
I never leave without buying some of their donuts. My favorites are the banana, last pic.

We absolutely love this place! They have so many things here. A store for fresh food, fruits, goods, and donuts (which are amazing) and a separate gift shop. There's a little coffee shop on sight, and during the winter, they had horse-drawn carriage rides, a reindeer, and Santa there. We visited several times and loved it there. All the food we've tried is delicious and fresh. I can't wait to see what they do during different seasons throughout the year. I highly recommend visiting.

Love coming here and getting produce, donuts, pies, etc. I recommend having the total experience by getting coffee or a sandwich, shopping for groceries, and then picking your own flowers. Also, Tab was very helpful and kind with helping us pick out donuts today, along with a very nice cashier with blond hair and blue eyeliner :) Awesome staff, yummy food, lots of fun!! Highly recommend!

What a fun Fall place to visit while in Ohio!!! I absolutely loved the budgie barn!!! I love parakeets, and there were a ton of them in there landing on your stick to eat the seed that they provided you before you went in. The donuts are amazing. Overall a really fun time with my family. And a beautiful drive out there.

Love this place! Fresh produce grown right at the farm. Donuts are a must when going here. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and help you get what you need or want. The barns have a lot of gifts and decor for your home or to buy as presents. Highly recommend.

Huge selection of fresh fruit, veggies, meat and cheese, baked goods, etc. not sure if there's enough space to describe how delicious everything is there. Try a donut or sweet roll and you'll never buy anywhere else! We try not to miss any of the events they have throughout the year, especially seasonal/themed crafts, strawberry- and/or flower picking, etc. Best thing to do, besides just going there, is check out their website and pics and understand it's even better than it looks!!

White House is always a blast and a must have adventure every year! We enjoy all the activities that are available for fall activities, the shopping available for food and other items! They always have perfectly themed setups for pictures which is wonderful for taking pictures every year to look back on!

Great selection of food. Beautiful landscaping. Great fresh fruit. Fun playhouse for the kid and you can feed the fish.

They have Apple orchards and berries that you can harvest at certain seasons. Their blueberry donut is a must to try and they are more delicious when they are still warm. Also this big chair is the center of attraction here.

We take our kids every year for the last 10+ years. We’ve watched it grow & appreciate this place.
Free playground for the kids to burn off energy & great little grocery store.

Of course you have to get the blueberry donuts, it’s a staple.

Visited Mrs. Claus with the grandkids last evening! They had a great time! Decorated Christmas cookies, made Reindeer food, wrote a letter to Santa! Mrs. Claud read them a story and sang Christmas carols to them! Who knew she had such a beautiful voice?!? Please sign us up for next year!!

Well, we're from NE Ohio, and White House Fruit Farm is a staple we've grown up with. Since we've moved to the Alexandria VA area, when we come back to visit, it's a definite stop! We bring our friends too from other areas on the Midwest, and they are amazed! Their donuts, second to none!! Great selection of fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables that we look forward to! Make a stop, it's conveniently located just west of Canfield Ohio, and everyone there is super friendly!!

I’ve been coming here for years with my family. There are so many wonderful things to be said about the food that they grow and the work that they put into giving our community something of value. I think it’s important to have places like this where people can come and consistently rely on their homemade goods. Having great products is the centerpiece, but the property is beautiful as well. You can pick berries in the summer, pumpkins in the fall. It’s a great time for everyone, especially the little ones when they’re feeding the catfish in that big pond. 10/10 would recommend.

White House Fruit Farm is worth driving from Pittsburgh to. What a Find! I am not sure where to start. Their honey-peanut-butter handmade spread is one of the best I ever had. Their salads, also hand made are also amazing. Their donuts and popcorn, I will skip to not self-incriminate (lol), and on and on. This is a place worth spending significant time at.
PS - I need to find out if some of their delights are sold also in other locations.

I love their fall activities and gift shop! They have such unique gifts that I wouldn’t find elsewhere. This year they had pony rides and a special unicorn ride for the kids and my three year old daughter LOVED it. (The unicorn ride came with fairy wings!) This was in addition to the horse drawn wagon rides they usually have which we also adore. Their pumpkins are always good quality, the donuts warrant a trip on their own, and the cider is always delicious. This place is a fall bucket list must every year!

We love the fresh produce and especially the donuts! Unfortunately today there was a rude employee serving donuts. We've never experienced that before. We're not worried about it, just surprised because they are known for exceptional customer service. Everyone has a bad day, so we hope that employees day gets better!

Sunflowers at sunset was delightful! I'm sad I didn't grab myself a tshirt for the event. The main employee there was super nice and helped us wake up a sleeping bee to move him 😭💕 absolutely delightful

Great family farmers market. Cool gift shop in fall. Great selection at the deli counter. People loved their homemade donuts, not really my favorite, but I know those that go crazy over them. They have fun weekend events from time to time. Follow them on Facebook.
