Visiting here and this was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in my lifetime. I was wanting to try the New Haven style but it was Monday so the only option was Tavern style. A light, thin, and crispy cracker-like crust with great char. Had a slightly sweet and flavorful sauce. Beautiful undercarriage with zero flop. I hope to be back to try the other style pizza.

You owe it to yourself as a human being to experience this pizza! The crunch of the crust is unlike any thing I have ever eaten and the cheese stays on the pizza as well when you take a bite. My advice is to eat it in the car as soon as you get back into it. DONT wait until you get home! I cannot recommend this place more, you can really taste the love that is put into making these and it truly deserves its “best pizza in Ohio” label. Only wish there was one in northern Kentucky but until then I’ll happily drive the 30 minutes across the river to get more until then. Thank you guys!

Tried out tavern pies my family devoured. Pricy but great and worth trying again. Husband even found some good beer to pair when he went to pick it up. I love the crispy crust so we'll definitely order again, maybe another Monday or for their regular menu.

My Mom & I were told to go here from my uncle. Tasty rootbeer, beer, & pizza. We had the Cincy Supreme. Nice staff & friendly; quick service. We will come back when we visit Cincy, OH again sometime. I highly recommend trying this pizza place if you have not already.

We found this place on google. We love CT New Haven style pizza. St. Francis did not disappoint. The crust is perfect. 10/10

I try pizza everywhere I go and have come to the conclusion that if doesn’t come from between Philadelphia and New Haven it’s probably not any good. I found a winner in Cincinnati!! Now this place has an ace up its sleeve because the owner is from Princeto. So grew up right in the heart of pizza land and he admits he spent a lot of time sampling Philly pizza. But man he’s got it. Cincinnati should make this the busiest place around.

My fiance and I moved to Cincinnati this year and Saint Francis Apizza has become a part of our routine. She works in California, so she is here for one week and away the next. Each Monday she is here it is a must that we get the tavern style pizza, which she says is one of the best pizzas she has ever had (I agree). Their regular pizza the rest of the week is just as good. Great crust, sauce, cheese and toppings. They obviously use quality ingredients and have put a lot into their craft. They have fans in us as long as we live in Cincinnati!

Pizza was great! Top tier! The crust specifically was amazing, I can’t stop thinking about it, lol.

The customer service was great as well.

We got a cheese pizza and the Ault Park pizza.

We saw this place on YouTube and had to try it out. We did a 50/50 with the supreme and hot honey specialty pizzas. Wow! The flavor of both was amazing and the crust was crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. I can't wait to try the other pies. I would have added a photo, but the pizza was gone in minutes!

This place has been on my brother and my "Pizza challenge" list for almost two years. The only issue keeping us from trying it has been it's 30 minutes away. Recently, I found myself nearby and realized "today is the day!" I ordered online and sped off towards the pizza. The reputation is order early or understand you may wait. Enjoyed chatting with the counter guy who offered to bring it out to my car. When he asked how far I had to go to get home and enjoy it, he suggested trying a piece at a red light. He was right! The place lives up to its reputation. We've tried 20 different pizza places all over the tristate...this is tops. Best pizza in Cincinnati. Period.
Too bad they're so far away. Guess I'll just have to get their frozen offering when they have a stop on my side of town.
Yes, it's worth the drive!

This is what pizza should be. I find Cincinnati pizza to be pretty meh so I didn't think much of it when people started talking about this place but finally gave it a try and couple weeks ago and was blown away. I was still thinking about it days later and my wife was too because she picked up one each of their frozen options to bring home. Those tasted good, but the texture was not nearly as good so I think we'll stick with fresh and hot. We'll regularly be making the drive from Anderson (passing a dozen pizza places in the process) to come here from now on.

Undoubtedly the best in Cincinnati. They only do 16". The best part of their pizza is the crust. And that says a lot. Super light with a perfect amount of flakiness to the edges. Not at all oily. Decent amount of toppings. The cheese and the red sauce is really flavorful. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian base options as well. They also sell individual dough balls.

Best pizza I’ve had in all of Ohio since moving here 7 years ago. I’m originally from the east coast and have been trying to find a real “NY style” slice to no avail. Many places will claim they do but St. Francis is the only pizza that I could’ve eaten in NYC/New Haven and not questioned it. Crispy, thin, crust, tangy sauce, good quality cheese. So glad I found this place that nails the basics and is everything a pizza place should be! Without a doubt the best in Cincinnati and it is not even close, highly recommend!

10 out of 5⭐

Half and half pizza was absolutely delicious. I was handed an incorrect order at the time of pickup but the gentleman in the front went above and beyond to make up for the slight confusion. Definitely going back for the pizza but also love the fact that they treat their customers very well. Good job guys!!

Drove down from Columbus today specifically for these pizzas. Alex and his team care more about these pizzas than most parents care for their own children.

I was incredibly impressed with the crust and quality of ingredients. But, let's be honest, anyone can use good ingredients to hide flaws. St. Francis doesn't have any flaws. They're putting out amazing pizza because their crust is on the tippy top of tiers. Those quality ingredients are thoughtfully placed on a bed of dough delight and give the opportunity to truly shine.

Absolutely incredible.

Cincinnati, you're some lucky folks.

Our favorite pizza in Cincinnati. In fact, we won't eat any others. I like the fact that the owner, Alex, takes pizzas very seriously. He travels every year (sometimes with team members) to learn what other leading pizza artists are doing around the country so he can bring that knowledge back to Cincinnati. You can taste the difference.

Best pizza I've had this year, awesome crust and fresh basil on our margarita pizza. There weren't any leftovers. Not as cheap as other parts of Cincy, but fair for Hyde Park and high value for the flavor/texture experience. Apparently now I have to drop by on a Monday for the thin crust, it has to be even better. Caesar salad was also good, the dressing had a kick but was very thick and would not pour out of the little cup.

Saint Francis Apizza - many have tried to plant roots in this spot and few have stayed long. This place should have staying power as long as the pies maintain their quality.

Nice chew and flavor on the crust, not too thick, and the pies have flavor. It's hard to find good pizza...even more so when you appreciate good food and you're Italian.

The pepperoni and green olives worked - the three of us finished off a single pie with ease. For now, we've found a spot to get pizza without making it ourselves!

Spectacular in every way. The dough has an amazing flavor and you could tell the owner knows what he's doing when it comes to breads. The cook on the crust amazing. Lots of caramelization and the ingredients and proportions were perfectly done. The only thing I'll do differently is next time I come I'll eat outside so it'll be even hotter and better. But I'm going to imagine that reheating some of the pizza in the oven is going to be spectacular in every way and I can't wait. Hope this place does amazing and wishing them the best

WOW! Very good! Fresh, locally-sourced ingredients baked with love you can taste. Excellent crust and undercarriage, no flop. I can’t wait to go back!
