Galion Electric & Water Department

To be completely honest...I've never dealt with more friendly and helpful customer service! They have gone above and beyond to be great to my family! I called to explain the situation I was dealing with, and she was not only understanding,but worked with me. It's nice knowing there's still people that care and understand!

I’ve been in Galion for over 10 years everybody up there has been super friendly never had an issue

Stopped there to have my utility bill automatically deducted from my checking account. Piece of cake. It took about 5 minutes. I will still get a statement stating the amount and the date it will be deducted.

Update: 7:30 a.m. Thank you to the city workers ( Pop's and crew) who arrived first thing this morning and completed the city part of water line repairs.

Update: 7:15 p.m.. Help has arrived. Thank you to the city workers who came with the vac truck and got the gushing water stopped -

The city shut off valve snapped off in pieces, completely rusted, while trying to repair our side. Their valve shutoff had a brick under it to keep it level.....Called Utilities person. Its after hours like 5:27. Calls back and tells us to crimp the line but how we are supposed to crimp a water line when its this deep. Son is in 5 feet of water trying to accomplish this. Doesn't the city pay overtime. Gas line is in close proximity to the water line. Reaching out to them too.

Very Attentive office and field staff. Well informed and helpful. Always able to help me when I need utilities switched over, turned on or off.

Sometimes a little pricey

Spend more more time talking to an answering machine then I do an actual person, and then when I finally do get to talk to an actual person they won't helping anyway. God forbid you get behind on a bill due to lack of hours on the job, they'll just send someone out to shut your service off while knowing you have an infant at home and won't give you One more day for your paycheck to hit to be able to clear your balance. It just happened to me, but I bet the ladies that work in the utility office are enjoying the AC. Praying they never get into a financial situation. They'll just have their utility buddies turn a blind eye until it's convenient for them. And I never leave bad reviews! THREE DAYS talking to an answering machines trying to get assistance from them and only had one call back and that was for her to tell me it was"too late" and I "should have called sooner. I have the call log of all the times I called

Complete scam! Not resigning my lease extension for my small business due to my utility bill being $1400 a month! It’s been 3 years and nobody can figure out why. Not even my landlord after we spend $2,300 between us trying to figure out the problem.

Completely unwilling to help in any type of way.. I'm a single dad who got behind on things after my ex wife walked out.. My daughter and I found a new place in town. But are unable to get the utilities on until the past due balance is paid. Which I get, and I'm willing to pay because I can't not have electric and water. However, Galion Electric and Water refuses to allow me to set up a payment plan to get services started... So with that being said F U Galion crooks!

Expnsive and If you dont keep your receipts they will try to rip you off. Never seem to pick up the phone either.

More and more people and businesses leaving because of them.
