My family took a class today, and it was awesome! The instructors were knowledgeable and fun. My youngest who hates everything even stated that it was really fun. We are already looking at other classes to take, and we are ready to try making pens on our own.

Went here for the first time this past Sunday. New into wood working so just figuring stuff out. The moment I walked in I thought “I love this place, I wish there were more stores like this still around” this is that hobby type store that was so good they could survive and thrive despite ECommerce and still maintain top notch inventory of high quality products. The staff is so kind and helpful and knowledgeable. This is a 11/10 must visit if you are into woodworking at all.

Bravo to the owners for building and maintaining an awesome business. I mistakenly thought an item was more expensive than I saw online and Lori explained the differences and why this item was actually less expensive since it had more features and still gave me a better price all things my online research didn’t reveal but thanks to the knowledgeable staff I was re-oriented in the right direction. If they sell what you need you owe it to yourself and our community to shop here! Keep up the great work!

I'm not a wood worker or a carpenter; I'm just a DYI guy so I can't speak to how deeply knowledgeable these guys are, but I have always had a good experience here.

The guys at Woodcraft have been very helpful with recommending workable, effective solutions for me. They've handed me tools I've never heard of before - like little Japanese saws with super bendy blades - and sure enough, they were the perfect tools for the job.

Today I was very impressed with the help I received from "Employee 508058" (I didn't catch his name and I'm looking at the receipt.)

I brought in a sales flyer that had several items I'd circled in it. The gentleman helping me saw what I'd circled as I was leafing through the flyer. He proceeded to fetch everything I'd circled, even things I had I forgotten that I wanted, on pages that I flipped right past.

I was seriously impressed. This cat was on the BALL. Fr fr, no cap. It seemed like he knew the flyer cover to cover, or he has an eidetic memory. He knew exactly where everything in the store was and was able to answer all my questions concisely and without hesitation.

I've shopped here several times over the years, and I've always been happy with the service I've received from the other employees, but today was something special.

Y'all better make sure you're paying 508058 well because I'm going to give him a business card and tell him to email us if he's ever thinking of changing jobs.

Seriously, nicely done my man.

I took a class here over the weekend where I build an electric guitar.

The course absolutely blew me away. I had decently high expectations going in and they were still exceeded. The instructor Ed, really knew his stuff. I've taken college classes where the professor didn't seem as knowledgeable about a subject as Ed did about guitar building.

We started with a block of poplar and a block of maple and over the 3 days of the class; shaped them to be a telecaster. I spent at least 12 hours carving a neck out of that maple and I couldn't be happier with the result. The guitar, through Ed's careful instruction, is at least at the level of a store bought guitar of equal value to the cost of the class, and I learned a ton in the process.

The class was a really varied class too in terms of skill levels with the various equipment. Ed was able to ensure that we all worked at a similar pace despite the differences we all had in skill set.

I would absolutely recommend this course to a friend.

I’ve walked or driven by so many times with curiosity. I finally stopped by and the staff was great, not pushy but informative and open to dialogue. With that they had to hear mine and probs everyone else’s wood shop glory stories from HS lol as well as the desire to create from wood again. Short story long this place has everything you might need.

Good selection, knowledge staff. With their help I got what I needed as opposed to what I thought I needed.

Have taken a couple of classes here as well. Have taken my wife and daughters to classes as well. Be sure to check out the selection.

Many talented people on staff.

I buy most of my wood here when I'm going to build something. It's a much better choice than say a big box store.

This is also my go-to place for finishes and high strength screws.

Premium woodworking tools. You must go here knowing they only carry high quality and precision tools, which comes with a bigger price tag.

This has been a great location for me the last several years. There are a couple of really knowledgeable staff members, along with some up and comers to the trade. If you catch Lori, she knows her stuff (just make sure you give yourself enough time for the full explanation--that is not a negative critique; just the expectation).

The lumber prices are, I'm assuming, third hand, which means you're paying extra for convenience.

They offer plenty of classes, as well. There is a formidable shop in the back of the store.

If I had one thing to change, it's that not everyone in the store can cut or mill down lumber for you. So if you're buying wood and need it cut down, or you want to send a larger piece thru a planer or something, there's only certain times/days you can do it. I feel that all staff should have the training to do this. At the very least, the ability to get wood cut down to rough dimensions. Even big box stores offer this service.

This place is fantastic. Walking in, I had some greet me from checkout and ask if I had anything I needed. I said that I may need some help but I wanted to wander first and they sent me on my way. The store is neatly organized with clear labelling.

The rear of the store features a small array of craft lumber that is kept in an orderly manner and seems to be reasonably priced.

When it came time to ask questions about a few items, I was met by a staff member who was not only knowledgeable, but more than willing to get into tiny details of woodcraft. She laid out a ton of info that I had never learned and then even suggested a class without being pushy.

I am beyond pleased with my experience there and will not hesitate to return.

Just had the pleasure of being helped by Nick and his coworkers. A wood shop isn’t necessarily where you’d expect to receive it, but seriously the best customer service I’ve experienced! Quick, helpful, and clearly an expert. Definitely created a long time customer! Thanks Nick and friends!

I just finished the electric guitar building class here and it was a great experience.

I walked in and started with two blocks of wood and a fretboard and walked out with a finished guitar. The pacing of the class was excellent as was the instructor. Ed Panzer is very knowledgeable of all things guitar and the class was easily worth the price!

The facility is also fantastic. The tools we were given to use were high quality and well maintained. Very well organized and plenty of space to work in.

5/5 experience hands down. I've tossed around the idea of building an electric guitar for a couple of years now and couldn't be happier that I found this class. If you're interested and considering it, by all means do it.

Rough morning turned around by the guys working the opening shift today. Came in for bandsaw tire , as soon as I walked in the door they jumped to help, even grabbed me what I needed while my kid and I looked around. Great vibes all around, really top notch staff working this morning can’t thank them enough. Will definitely pay it forward. Keep it up guys.

My wife and I took the wand turning date night with Savannah and it was amazing! We both had zero experience and were able to produce an amazing final product. I feel like I have the confidence I need to pull out the lathe I bought a while back and start turning!

All the employees are nice and most are quite knowledgeable. Good supply of a wide variety of woodworking supplies. Appeared to be geared toward the small scale pro and amateurs. Very good selection of finishing supplies. Tyler runs the store and is an honest, knowledge and helpful person.

Great service and knowledgeable people. Whenever I go there with a question on something, they can usually give me a step-by-step guide on how to complete a project. I have even called after buying an item and got a great explanation. They did not rush me off the phone or talk condescendingly, which can often be the case in other stores. They carry a great selection of professional tools, and while not always the cheapest, you'll get the right stuff, and you can trust it will be high quality.

Wow, the selection is amazing!
When you walk in, you are greeted immediately by the staff.
If you need any help finding anything or of you have any question about woodworking, the staff is very knowledgeable and are passionate about sharing advice.
They offer classes that look good, but I have yet to attend one.
The selection of tools is overwhelming, I am eyeballing a SawStop table saw.
Oh, and if you like wood, they have an extensive selection of species, including some oddball ones that are rare to see.
Shout out to Tom who helps me find what I need!
