I love this store. Far superior to petsmart. I stop in twice a month for my chinchilla supplies… Only gripe. Get your cashiers ergonomic mats!!!! Standing as a cashier for 7 years I know. You don’t have any! Come on! Get mats!

Carries a few items we like for our dog. Plus we get to see and interact with other people and their pets.

Staff is friendly, reptiles are always clean, well taken care of and fairly priced. Store is also always clean and organized. Great place overall.

Unbelievably good customer service. The staff really care about their customers and get to know them by name. Incredibly knowledgeable in their respective departments, they can fill custom orders and provide help with your plant and animal questions. An incredible gem I wish I had known about sooner.

I wanted to take a minute to update my review to include the fact that they stayed open after they closed for me to pick up some crickets for our gecko because every place around is out of them. The following is my previous review: The staff goes out of their way to help when they run out of something. They opened up a large bag of birdseed in order to give us only 10 lb. The prices are pretty reasonable and they have a pretty neat selection of pet foods and pets.

Went into the store looking for a cat prevention hood for our Christmas tree, they like the water. When my wife and I walked in the sales girl, very polite, asked if she could help us and did just that. She showed us what they had to offer and it was perfect. The store it's self was very clean and supplied with everything and anything one would want or need for any pet, dog, cat, horse, sheep, fish, bunnies, and the like. Massive amounts of food, toys and necessities. Well worth one's time to check it out, highly reccomended.

The atmosphere here is amazing as soon as you walk in... you're instantly greeted! My family and I went back to the pet section and their set ups there are beautiful, you can tell that they really care about the animals they have. They were cleaning cages when we went but offered to bring out the animals we wanted to see! Prices are great there! So much better than petsmart which is where we usually get our feeder fish! And the employees were so nice and willing to just chat with us, I actually enjoyed it there so much I asked for an application for a part time job!

Every time we go in, there’s never a time we’re we get ignored. I have multiple different animals one being a bearded dragon and I have to get him crickets and they employees are always so helpful even the cashiers they always say hello. Great place to shop

I visited the store today almost completely ignorant of what I wanted. I asked to speak with a gardening specialist I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Rick. I attempted to explain to him what I wanted, with this kind man's help assisted by the manager. They provided me with the exact product I required. Thank you to the helpful people at country max.

Love the place, pet friendly in all ways. Always has free samples of dog food and you can handle the pets! They have a dog wash all set up for customers, you wash they clean for $10. Can't wait for spring and to see what they have for plants!

Clean store! The employees are always friendly and willing to help. I was treated very well recently and recieved some extra support from store staff. I am very greatful! As far as customers go... bravo! Not a single peraon on my visit without a face mask. The employee who brought curbside pickup out was wearing a mask as well. Kudos to CountryMax, we will be back!

I have been doing business with Country Max in Baldwinsville since they opened. They have a really awesome slelction of critters & small animals to purchase, birds,freshwater & saltwater fish, snakes, lizards, turtles, ferrets, bunnies, hamster's, guinea pigs & alot more than I remember to mention.They have a wide variety of products, including live food for lizard's & snakes. Bill that works in the back of the store with all of the animals is (awesome & very knowledgeable)solely responsible for my positive outlook on this store. I have purchased 3 bearded dragons from here, all doing great. If I could rate this store higher than a 5 star, I would. I always get great service on every visit,so I will loyally be a customer.

Best place ever. Unbeatable prices and great selection of little pets and beautiful fish/reptile room! Service is always so friendly and helpful and not to mention the store itself is just beautiful!

I love this store! Everyone is friendly and helpful that works there! It's always clean and it's very easy to find stuff! I bought 2 rabbits here and they are the best!

If you have a pet or livestock you should check this place out ! They have everything you might want even a place you can wash your dog ! There will be trees and shrubs and plants for your garden in the spring and they fill propane tanks with 20# for $10 + tax !

Great store. Excellent staff. Wide variety of all different kinds of small pets and fish. Lots of variety of pet supplies.

I love this store it is so organized and the workers are so nice buy my dog and cat stuff there all the time and they have never been injured.
