Rave reviews, once again for D&R Depot Restaurant who provided delicious catered food with little advance notice! At Lapp Insulators, Le Roy, our lunchtime guests are varied, including major customers who come for tours, European colleagues and special employee events. Over the past two weeks, we have hosted visitors with little advance notice and few details regarding the number. We requested custom menus for consecutive days over a two-week period and the Depot nailed it! When I explained who our special guests were, they provided chafing pans, upscale serving ware and they set up and cleaned up without any of this being requested, wow! Jennifer Gangi and her team always provide professional and prompt service and we are so very thankful. Please consider D&R Depot for your next catered event, you won’t be disappointed!

A nice little place to go and have dinner. They also do catering and I booked it for my father’s retirement party that was held there tonight and it was fantastic. Everybody loved it.

What a find! Nestled in an old train depot, this cool little spot has a great atmosphere, creative menu and excellent service. Many vegetarian items to choose from. I had the vegetarian pot pie and it was amazing. With a crispy, flaky crust, fresh veggies and an herby gravy, that dish alone would bring me back for more. Huge dessert selection, bread baskets filled with a variety of homemade breads, and everything fresh and well prepared. We'll be back again and again!

Can't go wrong! Everything on the menu is superb. Sean, Jen, and staff are always friendly and service-oriented. Recommend any dish on the menu for dinner in/take out as well as catering!

I got together with friends here this past weekend and had a really nice experience. It was my first time at this restaurant, the staff were super accommodating to adding people to my reservation. Very friendly staff all around. Food was good. I got the Pittsburgh salad and it was delicious! The dressing was awesome and paired so well with the salad. It was a very large portion, I wasn't able to finish it! And the price wasn't too bad. The ladies room was so pretty too. I chose this spot because it's not too far from the Genesee country village and museum so if you're looking for a spot to eat before or after visiting GCVM I highly recommend this spot.

Was just there with my husband and son for the first time the food was amazing the people were great and it is the nicest little place we will definitely be back there again the food is very well priced

Check the website for the hours open for dining. The resturant is involved with community so certain days of the week the resturant is closed for catering and community events. A comfortable atmosphere with two model trains on the ceiling which work. Lots of good paraphernalia in which brings you back to the day of people gathering in the train station while waiting to ride the train. I highly reccomed the steak which is cooked on a charcoal grill in the kitchen.( the host shared this fact with us) I ordered the small steak which could be considered a large. Portions are generous. The entree came with a nice portion of brustle sprouts with a side of dipping butter. Delicious! Cooked how I like! A nice crunchy bite. My second side was the house salad. (I upgraded) fresh and a large sized house salad. The appetizer I chose was the small corn chowder. It reminded me of the chowder Grandma made! Nice warm rolls which melt in your mouth are included with entree. Our server was friendly prompt and shared some interesting information about the resturant. This resturant has history personality quaint has a diverse menu which includes healthy choices signature dish is the pot pie and is family owned. And prices are good! Nice to be able to dine out and afford to during inflation.Thank you D &R resturant! We look forward to dining with you again

It's a lovely place with very good food moderately priced and big portions and the service was out-of-this-world.

Food was beyond delicious.started off with Artichoke French for an appetizer.then had the Cajun bacon blue cheese burger which was amazing.we also had the garlic lover’s delight which was a wonderful blend of vegetables Angel hair pasta with homemade meatballs and the chicken pot pie,which if you are craving Grandma’s cooking I do recommend.followed by Peanut butter chocolate chip cream pie.staff was wonderful.beautiful little place off RT19 in Leroy NY.

Another 5 Star meal at D&R this evening from start to finish with one of our favorite waitresses. Genuinely friendly staff, quiet atmosphere, and great attention to detail.

Come here for the old world charm… and to be inspired by a 90 year old lady that runs this place.
You’d be greeted with freshly baked warm muffins and butter. Ordered bruschetta, a couple of pastas, and a chocolate brownie… everything was amazing and made to perfection… the only thing that beats the amazing food is the warm service… almost everyone has been working here for a long time and everyone is passionate about this place and their guests… you can’t get this kind of food and this level of service at really high end / expensive restaurants…

This place has an additional advantage… it’s was right on our way from Niagara to NYC/NJ.

Will definitely stop here every time I am on Thai route.

I had cream puffs from here at a bridal shower and they were magnificent the best I have ever had.

The staff was super friendly I think everybody that worked there other than the cook at some point came by the table to see how the meal was. My boyfriend got the prime rib and I got the twin filet mignon I will tell you I've never had a fillet mignon as good and juicy as I did here. I even took some home with me and that night heated it up and it was still as good as it was when it was served. The owner was absolutely a doll and a very historic site.

Old fashion restaurant with a ton of cool decoration! They have a upside down tree hanging from the cieling and a working train attached to the cieling. The food was amazing! This is the best salmon I've ever had! The workers were really nice checking in that everything was doing okay and it was great. Can't wait to come here next year!

Found this unique gem while searching for restaurants near our Airbnb. French onion soup and spinach salad excellent, chicken pot pie, which is what they're popular for yummy but surprised no bottom crust and top crust was like a large wafer on top. Kind & attentive staff and awesome history. Owner very friendly and welcoming. If nearby our home would be a favorite place but was a nice experience. All foods are homemade and although we didn't have dessert we heard the list, which made it very tempting

We visit often and never have been disappointed. Service is great, everyone friendly and food top notch.

Always a wonderful place to eat. Love the upside down Christmas tree and all the decorations! Waitresses always so friendly and personable!!

D&R is definitely aimed more towards the older generations in the atmosphere and some recipes, but that's what adds to the charm, and the charm is what makes D&R, D&R!
Besides recommending the Mac and Cheese, I also ✨HIGHLY✨ recommend the french onion soup & to grab a slice of their strawberry cheesecake. I promise, you'll thank me later ;)
