Yesterday morning I start up my laptop and faced a black screen. Oh no. I tried several times restarting, unplugging, plugging back in...nothing. I brought my laptop to Ken. It's not the first time and I'm sure not the last that I'll be visiting him...once again he knew exactly what was up with my laptop and fixed it right there, right then for me. He's not only a brilliant technician but he is also a really super businessman that has integrity, understanding and great kindness. You won't be disappointed. Just go. I went to Computer Works Pro, based on a recommendation from a family member, when our old desk top stopped working. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and communication we had from them. They were able to retrieve all our family photos, videos, all our business QuickBooks info and our documents, and transfer them to a new computer within a few days, start to finish. I felt like the price we paid for the amount of work and 2 year old computer tower we purchased from them was very, very reasonable (lower than what I thought it would all be.)
I had a number of questions, as I'm not super computer literate, and all my questions were answered respectfully; with clarity and patience. I would confidently recommend them to family and friends.

I took my old desktop computer to Computer Works Pro after reading the great review by "Lis" and immediately after I retrieved it from the terrible computer repair place in Henrietta where it had been for 7 weeks. Although I later learned from Ken that my computer was DOA upon arrival, and could not be revived, the difference in the quality of customer service between Computer Works Pro and the other place was like night and day. After being so upset at what had transpired at the other place, I was relieved and greatly appreciated the fact that Ken called me the very next day and gave me a down-to-earth, understandable explanation of what was going on with my computer. That was all I had ever wanted from the other place: communication and an explanation. Ken treated me the way I believe a customer should be treated. He was friendly, courteous, respectful, and mindful of the fact that as a customer I had the right to a reasonably prompt and clear explanation of what was wrong with my computer. He seemed knowledgeable, and I trusted what he told me, which was the opposite of my experience with the other place. I will definitely be taking the new desktop computer that I bought in March to Computer Works Pro if and when the need arises in the future. They know how to treat a customer right! Thanks again, Ken!

I brought in an HP Envy 5540 printer for repair - I think I was a little too aggressive trying to remove a paper jam, and wound up popping the printer roller out. Tried to put it back in myself, but soon felt I would only make it worse. Spoke on the phone ahead of time with Ken, and he pretty much explained what he thought the problem was, and that, unknowingly, more than likely broke off a small piece that I couldn't see. Long story short, he let me bring it in, left it there, and soon called me back in - it was exactly what he thought it was, and showed me as well. I asked if I could at least pay him a service charge, given he had done some work on it, but since he couldn't fix it, wouldn't take any money from me. I appreciated his honesty, and will strongly consider him for my computer upgrade in the near future.

A recent Windows 10 update took my laptop into the “twilight zone”! So I took it to Computer Works Pro, Inc., based on previous reviews, all very positive. From the day I dropped it off to when I picked it up, I experienced both Ken and Kris as extremely knowledgeable and customer friendly. Kris waited on me when I picked my laptop up and reinforced that any issues or questions to not hesitate to call. I had several questions and as promised, called (several times)and Kris walked me through the steps to take to accomplish what I needed to do. Bottom line, the staff is very customer friendly and also made me comfortable in knowing I picked the right place. Computer Works knows what they’re doing, so limit your search for computer repair places! In conclusion, my laptop is running better than ever!

Several years ago I was having issues with a computer tower and needed some extra help with diagnosing it. This company was quick to contact me back, get me an appointment, and dig into the issue. Computer repair companies can be hit or miss, but Computer Works Pro really went above and beyond to help me out.

Before I opted to smash my newish laptop being being slower than dirt I gave it one last ditch effort and brought it in. Ken instantly knew what was wrong, walked me through what they would do and the cost (which was very reasonable). Two days later I get a call it’s ready and the kind gentleman stayed a few minutes after close so I could get it tonight. The cost ended up being a little less than discussed because there was no major issues (when does that ever happen!). Needless to say, I opened my laptop when I got home, it instantly turned on, opened multiple programs at the same time and then powered down when I hit the button. Sadly it sounds so basic but it couldn’t do that before. Thank you for your fair price, quick turnaround and for actually fixing the problem!!

I brought a guitar amp in to have Ken look at it for me. (Yes, I said guitar amp. Basically, it *is* a computer.) After reading many online threads about this amp, it's issues, and lack of it's companies support, I was less than hopeful for a successful repair. As Ken confirmed, parts were unavailable to make the repair. But he found another possibility for me, and for this, I am once again hopeful, and very thankful for Ken's help.

I use to live in Webster and purchased my used laptop from Computer Works. The laptop suddenly stopped working so I drove from my current home in Niagara Falls, NY to Webster in order to have Kris take a look. Had to leave it to be repaired so I drove back a few days later to pick it up.
Why did I drive so far? Because I trust only Ken and Kris to look after my computer needs. Stellar work, price and customer service honesty. They really need 10 stars.

A friend of my son recommended Computer works pro, inc and I am glad he did. I had some issues with my personal computer. They fixed it within a week. At a reasonable price and it works beautifully.

brought in 3 laptops for repair. I have experience in IT development and they stayed within my budget, fair pricing and good, quality service. Obviously they're not perfect but they do a good enough job to repair all the computers while still providing excellent service. One of the computers is a Dell Inspiron 3542 touchscreen laptop and they repaired it within budget. would highly recommend.

I was having, what I think were, Google issues with my phone that I could not figure out for myself. I was not able to update my phone/apps on my phone. Ken's store was the 1st place I went. He had previously worked on my parents I pad a year or so ago and my parents were thrilled. Within 20 minutes my phone was in full working order and all the problems were fixed. Highly recommend his services as he is kind, knowledgeable with very reasonable prices...thanks alot for everything Ken!!!!

Kris at Computer Works is the best! I had a very odd problem with logging into a new Dell machine and I am not well-versed in these types of things, so I was bit frantic. I was having some issues with my desktop pc and the business that I usually work with was not answering calls nor calling me back so I decided to call Computer Works Pro. Ken couldn't have been more helpful. After I described the problems, he gave me an idea of what might be wrong, the possible cost and turnaround time. I immediately brought it in and he dropped everything to check it out and determine the problem. He was able to do that within 5-10 min. and then explained what it would take to get it back up and running. I left it with him and less than an hour later, I got a call that it was ready. As I was working under deadline, I felt that paying a rush fee was well worth it to get my computer back in a timely manner. This is a small family run business that's in my community and, as a small business owner myself, I couldn't have been more pleased with the results and am happy to utilize Ken and his computer skills if and when the need arises.

If you need technology type of service (computer, wireless access points, etc)… this is the place to go or call. Ken and his team are exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful - they keep current on the "stuff" most of need but don't want to have to deal with. I am also looking for my next PC thru Ken vs having to decipher what I should be and get distracted by marketing fluff.
