I have to say that everyone at this post office was extremely helpful and pleasant! We are staying at a friends condo in Gilford and I forgot to put the unit # on the address for two Christmas gifts, which were already enroute. I panicked, once I realized the error. I tried the USPS 800 number and THAT number was useless. So I went to the post office, gave the clerk the tracking numbers, and explained what happened. They were very accommodating. One package was given to me and the next was delivered properly two days later! Could not have asked for better customer service and nicer people!! Thank you!

This is an excellent example of a company that proved its loyalty to a customer...(me). Almost a month ago, I was mailing a package to My aunt in Maine. I went on a Wednesday afternoon before work & the lady told me that the package would reach its final destination on that Friday. 24 hours later, on Thursday, my aunt sent me a picture of the jewelry that I had mailed the other day prior. I was quite surprised that the package got delivered so quickly and arrived one day early. I’ll definitely be sending out more mail through the Laconia post office. Very impressive delivery service!!!!

I got quick service this time because there were very few customers. Frankly I don't like this office. Parking area is too small for the size of this city. The building is old and there's no room for expansion. Going there has never felt convenient or pleasant, just my opinion. I prefer going to the usps in Lakeport because it has decent parking and no stairs to climb. The service is good from the staff.
