They always have had many types of live bait ready in stock whenever I come in, not to mention all of the other selections in tackle and accessories that they have. Prior Lake Bait & Tackle is a terrific place to come get bait, your favorite lures, minnow buckets, and a drink out the cooler if you're thirsty. There is so much to look at so come see for yourself. Customer service is excellent and it's clean, stocked, and organized. First time myself and was pleased and will be back again! So much Fun!

Well I stop by literally everyday. Employees are very. VERY kind! And extremely helpful! The second you walk in the door they're there to greet you and help you out. The bait there is very very nice! Never received a dead minnow or bad bait. Prices I would say are well priced. By far cheaper then cabelas/bass pro. Great store!!

Great bait shop! Huge selection of whatever you are looking for. Erik was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to picking out a new rod and reel. Will go back here before I go to a big box store. Prices are very comparable. Stop and check it out!!

Dude that helped me had a prior lake bass team shirt on. Don't know who it was, but obviously cares about fishing and had great suggestions. Caught some 4 lb bass with suggestion. Gentleman prior was awesome as well. You may pay barely slightly more here(negligible), but you get what you pay for. Gander charges less but the service is trash. Pay the extra few bucks and give it to an awesome local company.

Great store, keep going back. A decent variety of tackle at reasonable prices, and the best live bait I've found in the area. A wide variety of minnows in good shape, all the usual worms, and leeches in various sizes and by the pound. Only thing I wish is that they were open earlier and later - but can understand why they aren't!

Rick and PL Bait and Tackle crew are the best. Knowledgeable staff and great selection of bait, rods, lures and just about everything fishing. Syd and I look forward to stopping by every time we’re at Prior Lake.

Outstanding store due to the amazing store manager who really helped me out. I am a long-time and serious salt water and trout fly fisherman from CA and recently moved to Minnesota. This might be shocking to some, but I have no idea what a walleye, musky or pike looks like in person or how to fish them because we don't have them in CA. I let them know that I am cluless and new to the state and these guys took a lot of time to educate me and outfit with the best gear to fish in MN! Great shop! I am excited to start fishing in MN now and will always return to this store.

Pick up for your live bait neees along with all lures hooks Corks And bobbers. They have tackle of all type hello in you to be ready for ice fishing or summer fishing. While you're there pick up a spare rod, ice auger, or fresh line. Easy place to get into right next to the highway

Eric has done an excellent job of turning around the shop from what it used to be, it’s great to see a bait shop accully have bait in stock! Keep up the great work to all the Guys there!!
