Amish Tours of Harmony

We started our girls weekend with this tour and it was great! Rich was super knowledgeable of all things Amish and he knew the families, their stories, their kids, he knew it all. It was very educational, I learned a lot. The shops were fun to visit and we bought several beautiful and some tasty items! My favorite was touring one family’s home. Highly recommend!! Thanks Rich!

We had been to this place few times already and the lifestyle of the Amish family amazed me each time. In this modern world these people are not adopting any modern lifestyle and doing everything manually. Moreover they don’t like to know what’s happening in the world, they don’t want to be educated more than 7 grade levels. It’s tough but they’re surviving!
The guide was very informative to show us most of the areas of Amish and explain their culture and family values.

Mary the Tour Guide was very involved with us. Lasted about 2 Hours with an Amish Bakery being the last stop. I enjoyed riding in the Van even with the rough roads.

Didn't take a tour. I've been here enough times that I know where to go. The shops are fun to browse

Drucilla was the BEST tour guide ever. She had so many personal stories to share with us. We made a trip from the minneapolis cities and it was so worth it. We were all so happy with our experience and would recommend to everyone.

Great tour. Learned a lot about the Amish. People in our van were great and had a lot of questions that our guide was able to answer. Very fun.

The amish tour was kinda neat. The people were really friendly. The stores were kinda cool to look though. The quilts are beautiful.

The tour guide had so much cool information about the Amish in the area and the tour felt respectful and not at all intrusive. Can't wait to go again!

Such an amazing and authentic experience! The tour guide Rich was excellent and knew everything about the Amish community. He showed so much care and respect for them, you could tell he has a really caring and nice relationship with Amish families we visited. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! Absolutely incredible experience. Our tour guide Frans was very informative and friendly. We learned SO much about Amish culture and about the city of Harmony. We stopped at several Amish shops and met Amish families. Several Amish people knew our tour guide by name and were excited to see him! My daughter loved running around with the other children, chasing after kittens and chickens, and eating homemade baked goods. It was really a unique experience. Out of respect for the Amish culture, we kept our phones off during the entire tour. It was actually really nice to take a break from our phones anyway and it's considered extremely disrespectful to Amish to take photographs. I would HIGHLY recommend Amish Tours of Harmony!

Rich guided our tour and he was very informative. We were glad to know and see that he was friends with the Amish families we saw and interacted with. The Amish were glad to have us stop by. We would highly recommend Rich's tour!

We had an enjoyable afternoon. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, not in a hurry. The families were helpful and have wonderful foods. Harmony is still a favorite place to visit.

Yes! You must do this. Our guide, Rick, was extremely knowledgeable about Amish culture and easily answered all of our questions. We visited 6 Amish families and were able to purchase hand made items and baked goods. Well worth the time and investment.

I admire those self sufficient folks.
