5 stars across the board. The girl that served us was very personable and the food came out so quick! The atmosphere.. ? Absolutely love it, so homey, relaxed and adorable. Then the sub's..? Absolutely delicious, my husband got a tblt & I got the Italian mix and it wash l was perfect, not too much and not too little meat, not too much bread on the rolls either. Absolutely will be coming back!

Great for takeout (you can also order online to avoid lines) or stay and enjoy lunch sitting on outside picnic tables. Service from order taking to food handoff was very sweet. A perfect stop on our way to Kennebunkport

We were lucky they were across the rode from our hotel, because their sandwiches are fantastic and they have tons of beverages and snacks to choose from. The lobster grilled cheese is out of this world. If you are in the Kennebunk area and need sandwiches for the beach or a picnic, get them there!!!

All I can say is wow what a sandwich. We had the Philly steak and it was fantastic. This place was hopping but food was great.

Excellent sandwiches! We had a Philly cheesesteak and chicken parm. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for a great sub.

Stopped in here because we like sandwiches, and my sons middle name is Bennett, so we thought it would be fun. We got some ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, chicken tenders, port fries, I got the TBLT and my husband got the steak and cheese. They were yummy! The chicken tenders were cooked great, crispy and golden brown. The fries were seasoned well with old bay and side of chipotle mayo. My sub was good, I got the 8” and it was huge, my husband got the 13” and he had meals for two. The girl taking our order was patient as we figured out what we all wanted. Took about 10-15 minutes to get food after placing the order, and cost us nearly $100 for a family of 6 to eat/drink here, so it’s not cheap.

This is a great sandwich shop. The bread is amazing, the veggies are fresh. Ask for the roast beef at this location.

Shockingly I had only tried the Portsmouth location. The original was also amazing. The sub rolls were out of this world good. Old faithful Chicken cheese steak was my go to. A+++++

I was in KBunk for three days and ate here four times. Went here for coffee and breakfast twice after trying Boulangerie in town. They even had little beach trucks I got for my son that he loved. The sandwiches are great (I had the chicken parm, Italian and lobster roll). The bread is a tad doughy for my taste, but everything about this place is awesome. Very well run. Order ahead online and skip the wait. The spicy breakfast bowl with the tater tots is delicious. Definitely give it a shot.

I used to get subs here regularly when I lived up there (96-98) and it was a small family affair. They were the best sandwiches around. My go to was the chicken cheese steak. Now I'm back down the coast and I find myself thinking about Bennett's from time to time. Wishing they weren't 10 hours away. It's good to see that they're still going strong. Great place then, and from what I read, great place now. Can't wait until I can get back up there again and get another sandwich or two or three.

Absolutely delicious every time. Be prepared to wait a little while for your sandwich if it's busy, but it's worth it!

First time visiting Bennett's and it is definitely one of the best steak sandwiches I've had. I had the Bennett's famous steak sub. I'm sure all the locals know about this place so, I'll say if your visiting the area to stop in. It's well worth the visit.

I stopped here on a whim during my honeymoon in Kennebunk and now I really don't know what to do. It's been a month and I haven't stopped thinking about this tuna sandwich. It was just... perfect? The bread was so soft and tasty, the tuna serving was generously heaped, the tomato and lettuce crisp and fresh. There is nothing out of the ordinary about this tuna sandwich except that when you put all those things together, it's really just the perfect sandwich. Now I'm back in Brooklyn and have tried and failed to recreate the experience. I've gotten tuna sandwiches at upwards of five delis/bagel shops, but none of them are right. They don't give you enough tuna, the bread is not soft enough, the ingredients don't mesh in harmony, etc. etc. I've even tried making it myself but nothing lives up to the Bennett's tuna sandwich of my memory. So I don't know whether I'm really upset that I went to Bennett's and now am a perpetually disappointed tuna-crazed monster, or if I'm grateful to have that beautiful experience just once. Dine at your own risk.

Stopped here to grab lunch before heading to the beach and it was the right decision! Best sandwiches I’ve had in the area and I was so excited to see that they opened a shop in Boston too. Our sandwiches survived a few hours in the cooler without getting soggy. The bread was amazing! Very large sizes, two people can easily share one large sub. Great service inside Bennett’s too- food was ready quickly and everyone was friendly.

We passed this quite a few times and decided to stop to see what they had cooking inside. Glad we did although crowded we were able to get in and get philly cheesesteaks rather quickly. Because this place is so popular I would recommend ordering for pickup. They have quite a few nice outdoor seats available which was nice to sit and eat outside on a summer day.

Been a couple times for the sandwiches. Wicked chicken and falafel are great sandwiches, be *really* hungry if you order a large. It's stuffed full and a big sandwich.
Wicked chicken my fav, the peppers and onions are done just right like a philly steak, mushrooms and cheese round it out with just a little spice to make sure you're paying attention.
One of the better options in the town right now, lack of help has made it near impossible to order in most of the restaurants around Kennebunk unless you wait a LONG time.

Great sandwiches! I had the steak and cheese, wife had the hot veggies sandwiches. Bread was very fresh. We were there around 1 on a Thursday and there was a line, always a good sign.

Dont just drive by and not realize what's inside! Best steak and cheese you'll find on Maine coast- lots of great choices but whatever you get you can be sure you will go back for another round!
