Very nice waitress. Was very quick and very clean. Open early. There was not very many b people and it looks like a bakrry style set up. Very creative and cute. Was not to expensive and the food was good.

This place was a great breakfast joint! Our waitress was named Emma and she was awesome. I had the breakfast burrito and LOVED it. I’m not a lightweight but I couldn’t finish it. I’m including a pic of half of it. I ate the other 1/2. I loved their toast too. It was nicely buttered.

Super lovely place for a quick bite, lunch & dinner! They have a wide variety of food on the menu, and a big selection of tasty desserts too, ice cream, baked goods…etc. I highly recommend their cheeseburger wrap, I made up my mind to only get that in the future when I first took a bite of it, it was so so delicious!

Definitely worth a stop!
Stopped here for dinner and dessert, and I was really impressed. The owner came over and started helping us until our waitress made it over. Both were very friendly and helpful.
We got our food quickly, and it tasted great! The monte cristo, burger, and cheese fries all tasted good.
They have tons of desserts to choose from as well, and have huge portions!

Tried their biscuits and gravy, WOW impressive.
Gravy flavor was spot on!! Would prefer fluffier biscuits but ate it all up!! Service was excellent.

We had dinner for our dad's birthday and was also able to order our cake from their bakery. Everything was great from start to finish. Our service was exceptional from our servers, seating and food. The food, as always was delicious. The cake was amazing being very moist with an incredible buttercream frosting. They have so many options for dinner, including breakfast. You will not leave hungry. Very nice sized servings of homemade selections. A great 50's diner atmosphere and music. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Curly Cone is so much more than just an ice cream and burger shop. The decor is absolutely top-notch 1950s style and the food/ice cream choices are excellent.

I've only been here about four times but man do I love it. The service is good and the owner is a sweetheart. Oh ya and the food? Well it's amazing. They have all types of cookies and sweets all made from scratch and they have freshly squeezed orange juice. You should go there right now.

What a neat place. I took my kids there for ice cream and then I got a coffee and banana bread Labor Day morning when everyone was still sleeping.
This place makes me feel like a kid again in Northern Michigan during the summer.

Quality food & ice cream. Friendly workers & fairly quick service. We generally use the drive thru but the inside is always clean & decorated nicely. The small soft serve ice cream is pretty big & it's all delicious.

We were pleasantly surprised with our dining experience at curly cone.
My wife has gluten allergies and there was a full menu of items for her to choose from. The food was delicious. Thank you so much. Great job folks.
We look forward to returning again.

Great local ice cream joint. We live coming here. It is always busy, so just expect that. It is worth it though. Both the food and dessert items are delicious and so good. Great place to dine in or gra lb something to go. Also a good place when the hot boats are there in the summer.

This place is so darn cute I can't get over it! They make fudge and rock candy, the old kind where you cool it in a try and smash it, in house! They also make a great burger (try the jalapeno burger), pretty good wings, and have indoor seating. I've never seen a soft serve ice cream place do so much. And did I say indoor seating? They have indoor seating...at an ice cream and candy place.

Always one of our favorites all year around! From the breakfast to the ice cream we absolutely love the cone! Julie is so sweet! It's great having a place that has brought so much life back into our community!

Always love our stops at the Curley Cone. Julie is a family friend and she knows how to pick quality help. Never had a bad experience. Always fantastic food, and on these miserable hot days you can't get better cold treats anywhere else!!! If you are passing by don't! You won't regret making the stop!

Thirsty Buddy's this place is awesome. The food I've tried is really good not a large selection but that's ok. Drinks are great, bartender was awesome as well as the staff. I've read all these negative reviews and I think its pretty sad that people no longer take the time to talk to the owners and share their concerns/frustrations instead of using social media to slam an establishment. This is a change of atmosphere for the area, a chance for adults to unwind and be amongst adults and enjoy music and socializing in a classy environment. It sounds like some people have a dislike for the owners and aren't being fair or mature with their comments. Quite frankly I'd expect more from the Gun Lake Community. Be adults and resolve the issues as adults. We're supposed to support our community and new businesses as it only benefits us all. New jobs, good food without having to travel far, opportunities for many things in our community. No restaurant I've ever been to has been perfect every time. If you don't like that no kids are welcomed under the age of 18yrs, don't go. If you don't think there should be a cover charge for musicians, don't go, but apparently you aren't aware of the costs to bring talent to the area for your enjoyment.
I've thought about investing in a restaurant business myself, but if this is the kind of support I'd receive from my community that I've lived in for 60yrs I think my investment would do better elsewhere.
1 or 2 incidents shouldn't result in such bad reviews. Reviews are 1 sided stories. Make your own review by trying this place out. Im certain you won't be disappointed.
