Mexican Connexion

Tonight we had a very delicious meal. As we were leaving, we saw a young man selling books. We purchased one. This young man wrote a wonderful story, my son and I enjoyed it. You should be proud of your son!!

The place is a bit dingy but the food was very good! I had a taco dinner that came with two tacos, beans, and rice for $10.99. The shells were cooked just the way I liked them and the hot sauce they gave me was TOP NOTCH. The beans were some of the best I'd ever had! Quite the value meal at $10.99 for the amount of food I got and the quality, too!

My son's nachos were a bit lackluster on the presentation but he agreed that the beans were amazing.

My youngest got a corn dog meal and we were pleased to see it come with huge steak fries.

They also give you chips and REALLY GOOD salsa upon sitting down and apparently you get refills too because we were refilled twice I think.

The restaurant is old, dated, but it had its own nostalgic charm. Food was great. Service was good, but nothing spectacular.

I can see why this place has been in business so long, though.

We went back again a couple weeks ago, the food was very delicious as always and the staff was friendly as well, love the interior and you get to pick where you want to sit!

Love this place. I’ve gotten the same thing for the past 15 years, still just as good as I first had it.

We were seated quickly and every table gets complimentary delicious chips & housemaid salsa. It was Mother's Day and very busy but we were well taken care of. The food was absolutely amazing. I got a chicken chimichunga dinner which includes rice and beans. I highly recommend this restaurant

We ate at Mexican Connection for lunch and enjoyed every bite! The nachoes were delicious and the Flautas lunch special was fantastic too. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the tortillas were so soft and tender. Their horchattas are delicious to drink too! Very reasonable prices for everything.
We had perfect service and they were very quick getting our food out for our bigger group too. We love coming here and will definitely be coming back in the future!

It has been about 20 years since I've been here to eat. We used to go frequently when I was in high school. It has been well maintained and the owners have continued their attention to detail and quality food.
I was lucky that the day I was there as my favorite dish was the lunch special, beef flautas and rice with a small salad. Delicious.

I stopped in for lunch today and ordered a taco salad without olives. I have never had faster service anywhere! I sat down, my drink order was immediately taken and brought to me. I ordered my food and it was just a few minutes and it was served! It was a good sized salad with lots of chicken.

The server was super kind and made me feel comfortable eating alone. The gentleman that seated me and brought my silver wear did so with a smile.

My meal came to under $12!

I will be back the next time I am in town.

Consistant quality, pillar of the community. Always eat here faster than anything on apple street.

Some of the wait staff have very limited English skills so specific requests to accommodate food sensitivities or upgrade to a top shelf tequila in the Margaritas were ignored. Food is okay tho far from authentic & many popular native dishes ignored: No Pollo 🐔 mole,
no Chile 🐷Verde, no carnitas🐖 & no caldo de res. 🥘 There is a variety of basic offerings same as most other Mexican restaurants, all of which pass muster. Also on the plus side is Dos Equis Amber ( dark) on tap. Service can be hit or miss.

I've been coming here for years with my boyfriend, we both love love love the food and the service is not only fast but always friendly. I love the owners personality!

We were here for the Barry-Roubaix Bike Race. Ate here while waiting for our husbands race to finish. Very good food and service! The salsa y horchata was muy rico and the quesadilla deliciosa! Price was just right!

My wife and I moved to the area 2 years ago. We are from Rockford Mi, our biggest complaint was how bland the food is around here. We stopped on a whim. Best food in SW Mi! Extremely happy with the food, service, environment, we will be back. By the way, the hot sauce is to die for!

Hands down the best Mexican food in the area. We are blessed to have this little gem consistently serving delicious chips and salsa, chimichangas, perfectly flavored beans and more. The service is fast, friendly and attentive. Support a local, hardworking crew. Your stomach will thank you!
