Acadia View Cottage - Vacation Rental

We just returned from our third stay at Acadia View Cottage with our family. This home never disappoints as it quaint, clean and the accessibility to the whole of Mount Desert Island is great. The owner Jason is great guy and is accommodating in every way. The leaves were beautiful in mid October so book your next trip now.

Acadia View Cottage is a beautiful home away from home! We had such a great experience here. It’s located on a quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything you need is provided and every place you’d want to visit is close by. It is clean, comfortable, and charming in many ways. Thank you Jason for your great recommendations on where to go while we were here. You provided constant communication, an excellent home, and memories that will last a lifetime. I will be back!!!

We stayed here for a great Christmas Vacation. it fit our family of 6 very well and we loved our time exploring Acadia NP in the winter time. We saw some great views and got some great photos.

This was my first trip to Maine, where our family gathered for a reunion. The location was perfect, and it was a beautiful time of year to see the turning of the leaves. I can not wait to return in the near future. I highly recommend this cottage.

The house is welcoming and spacious, with plenty of room for a large group (+ pets!) to spread out in and enjoy. A well appointed kitchen and full size washer and dryer mean that no matter what adventure you went on, you'll be able to clean up and prepare a meal. If cooking sounds a little too tiring after a day in nearby Acadia, some of the best restaurants of the area are a short drive away. We will definitely be checking for vacancies at the cottage for all of our future visits to the island!

We had a wonderful time at Acadia view cottage! I loved how the cottage is centrally located, making it easy to explore some awesome hiking trails and the town of Bar Harbor. The renovated bathrooms are very nice and I love the country style kitchen sink! Acadia mountain is literally two minutes down the road and offers incredible views of the island! Our pup Maggie enjoyed every minute of our family vacation and is very appreciative that Jason allowed her to be a part of our trip!

Acadia View Cottage is the perfect place to get away and out in to nature. Perfect location as it is 5 minutes drive time for several of Acadia's spectacular hikes. Less than 20 minutes to Maine's iconic Bar Harbor. For groceries, coffee shops, and closer dinning Southwest Harbor is only 10 minutes away. I could tell the cottage has had extensive renovations. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great and the kitchen is all new! It's perfectly set up for preparing meals. If you've never been to Acadia, YOU HAVE TO GO. Acadia View Cottage is centrally located and the perfect "home base" to explore the island.

Great destination, great host, great house. This was our second time staying at Acadia View Cottage. Once in the fall, which was stunning colors of foliage, and just in June...it doesn't get better than this. Simply walking the neighborhood is breathtaking. Host supplies a comfy home, with all the amenities: books, maps, trail guides and flyers of what is in the area. I highly recommend the Acadia View Cottage for couples, families. girls hiking weekend. You will be impressed!

We just returned from our stay at this charming cottage. It was lovely! All the amenities of home and it was clean from ceiling to floor. The owner is attentive and goes over and beyond to help you with your stay. You're just a skip away from Acadia trails and a short drive to Bar Harbor. We are already planning our next stay!

Jason’s home is very lovely, clean, close to nearby hikes. It is about 20-25 min from Bar Harbor. Jason was quick to respond to any questions I had. We did not meet Jason and there was no need to. Everything about check in and out was clear and easy. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Mount Desert Island. I would certainly stay again.

Acadia View Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. All the conveniences of home but away from home. Easy access to Cadallic Mountain, Bar Harbor, Thunder Hole and more. Enjoyed playing corn hole one day with bon fire and making smores. A VERY FUN WEEK in spite of an emergency coming up, requiring surgery for one in our party of 4. All is well now. Thanks Jason for your help with our extra day stay!!
