For an exhilarating experience in Acadia National Park, I highly recommend tackling the scenic trail offering breathtaking views of Jordan Pond from the summit. This trail presents a moderate challenge and can be completed comfortably in 1.5 to 2 hours, making it accessible for most hikers.

Once you ascend to a certain point, a choice between three destinations—North Bubble, South Bubble, or Bubble Divide—awaits. Although each spot is just 0.2 to 0.3 miles away, the North Bubble rewards you with remarkable vistas. While the South Bubble may lack extensive views, witnessing the iconic Bubble Rock makes the hike worthwhile.

Keep in mind that parking can be a challenge, so an early arrival is advisable. During our visit, it took around 30 minutes of waiting to secure a parking spot. If you're planning a trip to Acadia, ensure this trail is on your itinerary for an unforgettable adventure.

Hiked the south bubbles trail to bubble rock. It was a quick and satisfying hike. Took roughly 15 minutes to get to the summit.

Beautiful hike overlooking Jordan Pond, family-accessible, and well-marked. Great opportunities for taking photos, observing wildlife, and getting some decent exertion.

Beautiful trail!! The rock isn't that impressive but the hike is really nice, and the Jordan lake is gorgeous..I also got to see a friendly deer on the way. Definitely recommend. It's maybe a ~2h hike and not too strenuous.

Great way to access both Bubbles. North Bubble was less crowded and had arguably better views (first picture). That one is an out and back up to the summit. South Bubble was also excellent and can be done as a loop. It's nice to descend all the way and add a lap around Jordan Pond which is flat, easy, pretty, about 3 miles, and takes about 1 extra hour.

Due to a lack of time, we could only complete the South Bubble Trail (along with Bubble Rock). It is a short, easy hike with a roundtrip duration of about 1 hour. The woods are calm and quiet, and the views over Jordan Pond are highly rewarding!

One of the easier hikes in Acadia. Extremely difficult finding parking as everywhere else in Acadia.

Went on a rainy day and it turned out to be a super magical experience. It was like walking in a fairytale. Not the easiest hike but definitely a rewarding one. Also there are plenty of wild blueberries along the trail!

Very nice fairly short trail With great views, close to the parking lot, and much easier way to get the top of these domes versus hiking up from the pond/face if you want an easier hike or less vertical

We did the shortest trail to the bubble rock and back. It was very well managed trail. A few tough spots for my elderly parents but we had plenty of fellow hikers making the experience cheerful.

North bubble is way better IMO if you can traverse the more technical asent. The south bubble is also pretty and easier to get to in mobility is a challenge.

Very fun trail, lots of rocks that you will have to climb. Around midday there will be a lot of people coming up so I recommend going early.

The views are amazing! This is not an easy trail. There are a lot of rocks, tree roots, and uneven steps along the way, but it is worth it if you are able.

Nice trail. Vertical climb with railings so beware. Good views of the harbor.
