I have rented storage units from this location for years. I had to close one unit two years ago. I started trying to get my deposit back about 18 months ago. The employee (who thankfully doesn’t work there anymore) told me many MANY MANY times that she would send an email to try & get my deposit sent to me. NO RESULTS!!! Well thank goodness Alison & LuAnn now work there. After maybe 2 phone calls to them, I not only received my deposit back from the last unit I emptied but also from the unit that was closed over two years before! Both of these ladies are such great people to deal with. They care. I highly recommend either location on Main Street. Now that the “ex” employee is gone, there are absolutely no problems. It’s all good!! Give them a call!!!

So it was my 1st time ever having to go with a storage unit and I'm so glad I chose this facility. They are so kind and was very compassionate about making sure I had the right unit that suited my needs. Everything about the process was great! I feel comfortable and confident that my things will safe with this company!

After searching for a storage unit in Rockford for the past 2 weeks, I finally found a complex that is very close to my apartment! After arriving, Kimber was of much help and set me up with a 5’ x 10’ unit hassle-free and same-day. I am sad to be leaving Rockford for Texas, but when I do come back to visit, I know the storage will be accessible and the staff will be friendly and ready to help anytime. Thank you U-Stor-It for the easy business, I definitely recommend to anyone in the search for a storage unit!

Sara is the lady that worked with us and she is the best! She helped us figure out a storage unit to fit our belongings, was very helpful and informative of the prices and space layouts and was very patient with us. The prices are reasonable and the space is clean and well maintained. I appreciate the great friendly service!

Kimber was very helpful today with my uhaul rental this afternoon. After some issues with my card not wanting to work but me clearly having the money showing in my account, traffic informed her to send me to 811 broadway where I could pick up my uhaul paying cash. So I made the 15 min drive out of my way and once I got there was rudely informed by the ladies inside that they don’t take cash and haven’t for years. I gave miss Kimber a call back and she was very nice and polite and helped me get a truck out of her place with no issues or problems. That’s what I call GREAT customer service. ******

Great friendly business and fast

Sharing a late review from my experience in June 2021 - my boyfriend and I needed a one-way U-Haul truck urgently this past summer and had trouble finding rentals because of the pandemic. I made a very fast and easy reservation with Sarah over the phone, and the next day when we arrived, she recognized us and helped get our rental truck ready right away. During the course of our conversation at the counter, we learned Sarah was running not one, but two, facilities that day AND it was supposed to be her day off. She handled everything like a total pro and we were so appreciative and impressed to have Sarah helping us out of a real jam. I may not ever need to use the storage facility (which looked very clean and tidy) but I would definitely return to U-Stor-It for their truck rental program.
